A group of not so sneaky teenagers has the bright idea to throw a party at a seemingly abandoned home in Colorado.

They may have gotten away with this “Project X” like event too, even it weren’t for the fact that the house was actually owned by someone.

The house belonged to Mike Cox, and while he and his wife went out to eat that night, several strangers sneaked into their newly remodeled house to throw down, leaving all kinds of damage in their wake.

When Cox was interviewed after the fact, he says his initial reaction was just “Rage. Felt violated. This is our home. It’s not just an empty house that’s for sale. It’s where we live.”

On top of it all, the group of teens snapchatted videos from the party, leaving incriminating evidence for authorities to sort through. So far, a few of the violators have been arrested and are facing charges of underage drinking and burglarizing private property.
