It’s great to have this interview with you Lady Faith! You have lots going on lately, let’s get into it. You’re widely recognized as the “Queen of Hardstyle”, have you always played this sound, tell us more about your origin story as a DJ?

When I first started my career as a producer/DJ, at first I played a combination of UK Hard House and Hard Trance with a little Hard Techno mixed in. I have always gravitated to the harder music and have never really strayed off this path.

When I first heard Hardstyle, I fell in love – it just speaks to me. As more people get to hear it, they are also finding it speaks to them, so the scene keeps growing all across the globe.

Earlier this year you released your first album, UNTAMED. How long did this album take to make?

The “Untamed” album was my greatest musical achievement. It took about a year to complete.

My goal was to produce an album, something that had never been done in Hardstyle by a female artist that was also released on a major label, and because I am a perfectionist, every song had to be very high quality with no fillers.

Hopefully the fans feel that I achieved this goal, and I am very proud of every song in this album.

You’ve just released your latest single “Like A Ghost” with LNY TNZ, how did that collaboration happen?

I have known LNY TNZ for a while so this collab came naturally – we both wanted to make a track to be released on Basscon records and we had great synergy in its creation.

I was really pleased with the finished track – it has the best of both of our unique styles in it and the fans have really responded well.

As a touring female DJ, how have you seen the scene change since you started DJing?

When I first started my professional career, there were all kinds of challenges, especially having to carry hundreds of CD’s for every trip.

Now we use USB sticks and that has been so much easier. Over the years I have seen the music change, the DJ’s change and the fans change. It is constantly evolving and getting into areas none of us could have imagined a decade ago.

Who are some of your favorite DJs right now?

I like all of my colleagues in Hardstyle and really enjoy listening to their music so it would be too difficult to isolate all these amazing Hardstyle acts. Instead, I will mention some of my favorite non-Hardstyle performers.

I personally listen to Timmy Trumpet, Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Charlotte De Witte and many more.

Is the scene different in the USA from Europe?

There are vast differences between the USA scene and the European scene, especially from a cultural standpoint. They love their EDM in Europe, its part of who they are and it means that so many of the top artists learn over there.

I will say that the American EDM scene, led by pioneers such as Pasquale Rotella, have shown much more love to the female artists in the scene. In EDC LV last year, more than 25% of all acts were women. It is an achievement that I personally hope is repeated by promoters everywhere and in all of the genres.

You’re headlining your own show at the legendary venue Webster Hall in NYC Halloween weekend, on November 1st, with hard dance heavyweight ANGERFIST. What can fans expect from this show?

I have no doubt that this show will be the most epic show over the Halloween weekend, so anybody able to get to New York should definitely make the journey.

It will be a hardpounding, over-the-top musical journey and I am blessed to be able to share that experience with the #1 Hardcore DJ on the planet. I mean, lets be real here, Halloween with Angerfist & Lady Faith – it doesn’t get better than that.

What’s next for you, more music, events, anything you want to share with the fans?

I am always moving forward and creating new tracks and getting opportunities to perform for a more diverse crowd. The overall scene is moving in a faster direction and for many fans they are just beginning that journey.

My goals for the future are to introduce more new fans to the world of American Hard Dance, and maybe I will do some more collaborations with artists from other genres. I believe that 2026 will be huge for Lady Faith, my Faithful and the Hard Dance scene in general.
