The 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, Brazil are in full swing, and not without its fair share of surprises. Bassnectar, shared a video clip on his Facebook fan page of the opening ceremony from the 2016 USA Swimming Olympic Trials.
“Timestretch” which was released on his 2010 EP has long been a classic, and now the USA Olympic Swimming Team has shared the secret nectar with the world. Bassnectar shared the video, commenting: “Awesome: Timestretch was used in the opening ceremony for the USA 2016 Olympic Trials :)”
Accompanied by an insane visual program on the pool surface, this track was undoubtedly a special treat for any electronic fans in the audience. Bassnectar‘s hit was notably followed by another nod to dubstep with PsoGnar & Teminite’s 2014 collab “On My Way.”
