A recent video has gone viral showing a floor collapse in South Carolina that sent more than 30 people to the hospital.

Authorities are saying that the party took place near Clemson University at the Woodlands Apartment complex clubhouse. As mentioned earlier, around 30 party-goers were transported to the hospital after the 2nd floor collapsed during the condo party.

Larissa Stone, a Clemson sophomore who was attending the party told the Independent Mail that the place was overly “packed” and had this to say about the unfortunate incident:

“So everyone was jumping. The beat was about to drop and literally the whole floor collapsed. It happened so quickly. I stood up, and everyone was trying to climb out. People are under other people. People are hurt. People are bleeding. I had blood on my sneakers. It was really bad.”

Luckily no one was killed in the fall, but the scene apparently looked pretty brutal. This speaks loudly to the safety hazards of unregulated and overcrowded events. Something similar happened last year at the Butterfly Disco Club. Good luck to the people who allowed and coordinated the party, law suits are on the way.
