We finally got the official music video for The Chainsmokers’ single “Closer” featuring Halsey.
It’s a little bit shocking that the track just now got an official music video, but we guess it’s better late then never. The video is about what you’d expect for such an emotionally loaded track: a whole lot of Drew Taggart and Halsey singing at each other, while cutaways flash back to tell the dramatic arc of their relationship.
They have taken the intensity up to another level, and it will leave you speechless. Drew really showed his acting skills in this fictional unfortunate life-love story. There’s lust, there is passion, and heartache.
This new video is an addition for their upcoming EP named “Collage” set for release on November 4.
