Orange-coloured ecstasy pills embossed with the likeness of the president Donald Trump, containing over two doses of MDMA, were found circulating at music festival ‘Bestival’.

Bestival, which held its annual event between 2-5 August, said it had warned festival-goers of the dangers of the new “Donald Trump” drug via social media once it became aware it was on site.

The ecstasy pills tested by drug safety charity, The Loop, had a picture of the United States president on one side with the word Trump on the other, and contained more than 250mg of MDMA.

The company tweeted: “Tablets with “Donald Trump” logo tested by @WeAreTheLoopUK at #Bestival2018 containing 250+mg of MDMA – over two doses in one tablet.

“Others tested in Europe with different strengths. Visit The Loop on site for independent drug safety testing and advice.”

The company warned that users cannot tell the strength of the ecstasy pill just from sight, as there are varying batches of the “Donald Trump” pill, some strong, some not.
