“GTFO” kicks off a string of Trove releases to come over spring from the successful and diverse artist. Several unique moments of affirmation and support have not only helped the solo artist find his sound but expand into untapped areas within the anticipated spectrum expected.
“GTFO” fits right into this mold, a single Boy From The Beach/Disco:wax swiftly signed. Australian singer, songwriter and producer Trove exhibits an array of organic and electronic timbres, animated beats and expressive melodies, creating a captivating mood. Having learnt drums, guitar, piano and singing from early childhood, Trove has passionately entered into a territory where live instrumentation meets digital exploration.
In the short time that Trove has been active as an artist, he has taken home the Grand Prize Win for the Nashville Film Festival Inaugural Songwriting Competition judged by Timbaland, signed a publishing deal under the Kobalt umbrella and has entered the Spotify viral charts in Canada, France, Taiwan, Singapore, Germany and more.
In just 12 months as an artist, Trove has released multiple features and originals garnering over 30 million streams collectively on Spotify & Youtube alone as well as writing and producing music for network television shows such as NCIS:LA, The Imposters and Nashville.
Trove performed his first live shows at this year’s SXSW Music Festival and has recently inked a global recording contract with European label Disco:Wax with plans to put out a 4 track EP.
