CORE Medellin: Tomorrowland is bringing the new CORE stage to Medellín, Colombia

Tomorrowland, one of the world’s most iconic electronic dance music festivals, is bringing the brand new CORE stage to Medellín, Colombia, on May 11 & 12, 2024.

Joining forces with Colombian-based Breakfast Club for a unique two-day festival, one of Tomorrowland‘s most appealing stages will debut in the beautiful Jardín Botánico de Medellín, a tropical paradise and an architectural masterpiece located in the heart of Colombia’s second-largest city where music and nature come together.

Last weekend, the brand-new CORE stage was revealed to the world amidst the jungle of Tulum, sparking buzz among music aficionados around the world.

Welcoming more than 20.000 visitors over two days, Tomorrowland will be curating a unique festival experience nestled amongst the fascinating botanical scenery of Medellín’s botanical garden, immersing people to the rhythms of the brand-new CORE stage.

The Jardín Botánico de Medellín is home to the impressive centerpiece and forest building Orquideorama, a 20-metre-tall wooden mesh of modular structures surrounded by a wonderful oasis of nature in the heart of the bustling city of Medellín. After its spectacular world premiere in Tulum’s jungle last weekend, the mythical new CORE stage will travel further down to South America, as well as two other stages that will be introduced.

Entirely designed and crafted in-house at Tomorrowland, the festival’s renowned creative team has been working on a brand-new CORE stage along with a spectacular audiovisual experience for over a year, taking the experience and design to a whole new level.

Having become immediately one of Tomorrowland‘s most iconic new stages after its introduction in Mexico, the beloved CORE stage will continue to pop up around the globe with performances from the scene’s leading acts in house & techno, including two weekends in the enchanting forests of Tomorrowland in Belgium in 2024.

The first magnificent CORE stage found its origins in Tomorrowland‘s digital festival and turned in no time into a true crowd favorite and Tomorrowland classic.

Tomorrowland‘s local ally will be Breakfast Club, a promoter with over 10 years of experience in the creation, conceptualization, and production of festivals, events, and entertainment in Colombia. For a decade, Breakfast Club has been working to make Medellín a cultural hub on the continent through music, providing experiences with a unique quality hallmark in the city and iconic projects such as Ritvales and La Solar Festival.
