Insomniac, the world’s leading music festival and live events experience creator, has announced that Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) Las Vegas is back and ready to set the stage ablaze at the iconic Las Vegas Motor Speedway from Friday, May 17 through Sunday, May 19, 2024.
For three nights, more than 525,000 vibrant attendees will gather to bring the unparalleled world of EDC to life by celebrating life, love, art, and music Under the Electric Sky. Building upon the success of previous years, EDC Las Vegas is proud to reveal the hotly-anticipated 2024 lineup, venue enhancements, and exciting updates to the unparalleled Camp EDC experience.
Across nine pulsating stages of music, Headliners will be treated to non-stop hits from the world’s most prolific dance music artists during a weekend full of surprises and once-in-a-lifetime moments.
Artists providing the soundtrack to EDC Las Vegas 2024 include Tiësto, David Guetta, John Summit, FISHER, Kaskade, Diplo, Dom Dolla, Deadmau5, Illenium, Allison Wonderland, Purple Disco Machine, Eric Prydz and many more.
EDC will also be stacked with countless back-to-back sets from the likes of John Summit b2b Green Velvet, ACRAZE b2b Kream, FrostTop b2b RemK, Eli Brown b2b HI-LO, Carl Cox b2b Nicole Moudaber, Peggy Gou b2b Marcel Dettman, and Subtronics b2b Level Up, amongst many others, including an epic 4-way b2b from WORSHIP (Sub Focus b2b Dimension b2b Culture Shock b2b 1991).
Artists making their festival debut this year include Peggy Gou, Four Tet, Mersiv, LAYZ, Tape B, Bou, Lilly Palmer, Trym, Klangkünstler, Sara Landry, Marcel Dettman and more. Additionally, one of Britain’s most legendary house and techno DJs, Carl Cox, will make his return to the EDC stage for the first time since 2015. Tiësto will be providing the anthem to this year’s EDC, an exclusive track coming out in May as a single and also part of the 2024 EDC Las Vegas compilation album
As we reflect on the beauty of the last three decades within our community, the 2024 EDC theme is unveiled: #kineticCIRCLE. This theme celebrates the profound impact circles have on our lives – circles of time, circles of trust, and circles of community. Embrace the beauty of these circles and cherish every moment shared. The theme will be brought to life through an epic, beautiful stage design that promises to be one of the most memorable ever.
Continuing their commitment to creating magical moments, Insomniac has implemented improvements to ensure a more unforgettable experience for attendees. The 2024 edition of EDC will feature exciting changes to the venue layout. Notable stages such as bionicJUNGLE, quantumVALLEY, bassPOD, wasteLAND, and neonGARDEN will be relocated, resulting in larger dancefloors to fully immerse festival-goers in their respective environments.
Portions of the Speedway‘s asphalt have been freshly paved, providing optimal conditions for an unforgettable dance experience. The entirely new festival footprint is set to enhance crowd flow, allowing more seamless access to and from favorite areas..
Downtown EDC is set to take center stage as it moves to the heart of the festival. Headliners are invited to explore fresh new experiences at Downtown EDC establishments, including the introduction of YeeEDC, a saloon-style bar sure to add a touch of excitement to the festival atmosphere. Additionally, the festival will feature more chill environments and seating areas across the venue, allowing attendees to relax and recharge while surrounded by the vibrant energy of the festival.
As with every EDC, Headliners will see brand new state-of-the-art stage designs and an array of immersive and interactive experiences such as a kandi casino, carnival rides, three-dimensional superstructures, a silent disco, roaming art cars, hundreds of costumed performers and other festival moments sure to create memories that will last a lifetime.
