Piknik u Pelince: Macedonia’s Renowned Music Festival Returns for Its 4th Edition

The renowned Piknik u Pelince festival is gearing up for its 4th edition, promising an unforgettable experience at the Memorial Center ASNOM in Pelince, Kumanovo, Macedonia.

Following three successful editions and overwhelming demand, this year’s festival will take place over two days for the first time in its history, scheduled for June 15-16.

Piknik u Pelince is celebrated for its powerful electronic dance music, featuring genres such as House, Tech House, Progressive, Minimal, Indie Dance, Melodic House & Techno. Set amidst the beautiful surroundings of true nature, the festival offers a unique ambiance that draws music lovers from all over.

The long-anticipated fourth chapter of this musical tale will feature renowned international and local artists including Aikon, Baime, Jelly For The Babies, Flooder, Herzel, Despic, Vahicabi, Dado K, Mamli, Marko Di, Dyad, Sasho Uzun, Ogi Uzun, Samardjiski, Mongo, Mitrik, Igor Cige, Darko Ripple, Jansky, Manojlov, DJ Cape, Bazel, Cobe, Argo, Impulse, Fildzi, Dzulija, Deeplantic, Omaru, Mario Mazzola, DNA, Sydex, Progressive Wave, Syncloud, and DA VID.

This year, the festival’s Main Stage and Rising Stage have been completely reconstructed. Festival-goers will experience these stages for the first time, built to the standards of the world’s best music festivals, with top-notch lighting, lasers, fog machines and many more.

Additionally, the festival site will be adorned with various decorations, fashion pop-up stores, and activities. Attendees can enjoy dedicated art zones, sports activities, DJ lessons, chill areas with lazy bags, massage zones, and numerous other attractions throughout the event.

The food court will feature a variety of tasty options for the lucky attendees, including delicious burgers, hot dogs, waffles, crepes, and signature Piknik u Pelince cocktails.

This year’s lineup is stellar as always, featuring a mix of world-renowned and local artists. Aikon, the Ukrainian DJ and producer known for his haunting, hypnotic mix of dark electro, breakbeats, and melodic techno with a twist of Italo and acid, will headline the festival. His tracks, supported by big names like Solomun, Dixon, Ame, and Keinemusik, have made waves with releases on labels such as Diynamic, TAU, Multinotes, Disco Halal, Exploited, and Monaberry.

Blindfold Recordings label head Baime is also set to bring his unique melodic techno to Piknik u Pelince this summer. Known for high-profile sets at European destinations like Kappa Futur Festival, Roskilde, and more, Baime‘s live show combines his love of hardware with the intensity of live performance, creating unforgettable moments with his Moog Sub 37 and Voyager synth hooks. Those lucky enough to score a ticket are in for a treat.

As the festival dates approach, the organizers will unveil a bus schedule to transport festival-goers back and forth, along with a guide for those driving their own cars. Tickets are priced at 300 denars (approximately 5 euros) and can be purchased at the door on the days of the event.

Past editions of Piknik u Pelince have featured renowned DJs and producers such as Andrew Meller, Sobek, Kristijan Molnar, Lerr, Inner Sense, and many more. This year promises to build on that legacy, delivering an even more extraordinary festival experience.
