Syncia Delivers Massive Reworks Of SUNANA’s Summer Hit ‘Quimbara’

UK’s Syncia continues his impressive production streak with two incredible reworks of SUNANA’s massive clubland hit “Quimbara.”

Syncia’s Tribal Remix delivers a succinct rhythmic workout with a slightly deeper edge, while the Kiss Mix directly targets main room positioning, and is poised to become a certified chart-topper already hitting Beatport and Traxsource genre Top 100 positions.

The original version immediately shot up the charts and gained favor with DJs across the world, including a recent sample by Barry Can’t Swim, who signed it to Ninja Tune. It has also received consistent Radio 1 support from Danny Howard, Pete Tong and Sarah Story highlighting its broad appeal. This summer-fueled anthem shows no sign of stopping with its raw and unadulterated uplifting energy.

Syncia has recently remixed tracks for heavyweights including Kink, Inner City and Soul Central, with his sound becoming synonymous with floor filling, club weapons. His releases have consistently featured on Radio 1 and also topped Beatport, Traxsource and ARIA charts consistently.

Continuing to ignite audiences across the globe, Syncia is resident at 338 in the UK and has performed from Miami to Ibiza already this year. Marking his debut at SONAR and Secret Garden Festival, alongside a residency at Back To Mine for Days Of Disco, where he kickstarted the season with for their roadblock ADE party at Pikes with the likes of Eats Everything, Fat Tony, EFKT (Soul Central), Mas Que Nada Brothers and Black Hawks Of Panama, Syncia is established as one of the leading nu-school artists of the moment.

Syncia’s distinct style has firmly ignited the industry and garnered support from pivotal publications DJ Mag, FACT and Mixmag and heavyweight DJ’s including Maceo Plex, Laurent Garnier, Nicole Moudaber, Jamie Jones, Mark Knight, Peggy Gou, Emerald, Offiah, Alaia & Gallo, Ferreck Dawn, Sam Divine, Roger Sanchez, HiFi Sean and Tini all championing his tracks.

Once Syncia heard the original “Quimbara” and saw it instantly ignite clubs, he set out to bring his trademark energy to the SUNANA release. Originally signed by Open Bar Music, the CENTRL team has licensed the new mixes to their imprint, following a string of successful releases.


Over the past few years, SUNANA has continued to lead the UK’s Tech House and Afro Latin scene. They have positioned themselves on labels such as Sony Music, Adesso, and their own The Vibe Arrived, lifting their YouTube views to an impressive 10 million.
