DJ Tennis & Eliza Rose release “Club Mix” of “Playa Paradiso”

Italian producer, DJ, tastemaker, and industry Renaissance man DJ Tennis expands the universe of his recent single “Playa Paradiso” featuring vocals by chart-topping British artist Eliza Rose with a new Club Mix.

The new version retools “Playa Paradiso” into a darker, longer-burning version, stripping back the sun-kissed gloss of the original, elongating the groove, making way for the thumping, carnal low-end. With Rose‘s vocal weaving in and out like a guiding light through the haze, it’s a hypnotic take that trades coastal charm for heady club elevation.

Both versions capture different corners of the same world. The original basks in the Balearic sun, and the Club Mix pulsing in the strobe. Together, they mark a full-circle return for DJ Tennis‘s first solo material in three years as an artist whose sonic world has always defied simple categorization.

With a new distribution deal inked with Above Board for Life and Death and a vault of unreleased music, DJ Tennis is stepping further into the spotlight as a producer.

After years of shaping artists and scenes from behind the curtain – the punk tour manager-turned-underground figurehead is trained as a sound engineer, hosts a culinary show (Munchietown), has owned his own restaurant, and even collaborated with Teile Elektronik on a surreal multi-effects music bot – he’s now channeling his singular creative perspective into his most intentional music yet.

Eliza Rose is the voice of dance music’s modern hits, with recent collaborations with superstars Calvin Harris and The Martinez Brothers. Straddling the underground and pop with style and bite, she has delivered vinyl-only sets blending House and UKG, while also becoming the first female DJ to chart at #1 in the UK in 20 years.

With “Playa Paradiso,” she continues her run as one of club music’s most magnetic vocalists – playful, soulful, and ready to catch your eye on a sweltering dance floor.
