pointblank, one of the world’s most recognized names in music education, announces the launch of its first fully accredited degree programs in the U.S.: a two-year Associate Degree and a four year Bachelor’s Degree in Music Production & Audio Engineering at its Los Angeles campus.
In addition, pointblank is introducing two new online degree programs: a two-year Associate Degree and a four-year Bachelor’s Degree in Music Production & Sound Design.
Applications are now officially open for all programs, with the first classes beginning in October 2026. As California‘s only college dedicated solely to music production degrees, pointblank Los Angeles offers students an immersive education designed to prepare them for careers in one of the world’s most competitive industries.
Both the on-campus and online degree options provide a blend of advanced production training, creative collaboration, and real-world career development.

The Associate and Bachelor’s Degrees in LA will give students access to state-of-the-art studios, collaboration across genres, and a curriculum that blends technical mastery with creative exploration. Coursework covers advanced production techniques, mixing, sound design, creative writing, music publishing, audio engineering, mastering, as well as general education.
