Avision ignites a new chapter in his New York–fueled universe with the launch of Ground Rule Records, the latest extension of his multi-disciplinary Ground Rule Collective.
Fittingly, the label’s first release, ‘Out Of Control’, is a statement cut: driving, groove-led, and unmistakably tied to the energy of the city that shaped him. Shaped for peak house, late nights, and packed dancefloors, it sets the tone for a label rooted in personality, precision, and the instinctive feel of his diverse sound.

“Starting Ground Rule Records is a way for me to release all the music I want to release when I want to release it. I’m at a stage in my career now where it only feels right to do this for myself and eventually start finding younger artists to bring on this journey. I’m so excited for everyone to hear what I have in store for the label.”

That foundation comes from a lifetime in the city. Raised in Staten Island and now based in New Jersey, Avision’s path began early: experimenting with production at 12, inspired by a family steeped in music and the iconic New York figures who defined the sound of its clubs.
His releases across labels such as Ellum Audio, Crosstown Rebels, Cod3 QR, and Cocoon, and the acclaim for his album ‘In My Mind’, cemented him as a key voice in modern techno and house.
Meanwhile, his collaborations, including the launch of MATTER+ with cousin Victor Calderone, have reinforced his reputation as an artist who moves with intention and consistency.
Across dancefloors worldwide, Avision has become known for sets that are uplifting, groovy, and driven by a deep connection to the room, whether at TimeWarp NYC, Hï Ibiza, Amnesia, Club Space, The Brooklyn Mirage, or across marathon open-to-close sessions.
