Bad news for thousands of electronic dance music fans in Brasil, as it was recently reported by El Nacional and Globo that Tomorrowland will be canceling it’s Tomorrowland Brasil 2017 edition.

Due to the concern over the Brasil’s economic stability, the expected 2017 edition is not going to happen. Although they plan to come back in 2018, there are no guarantees.

It’s also rumored that Atlanta-based music festival, TomorrowWorld, may also been cancelled. As EDMTunes points out, Imagine Music Festival in Atlanta, Georgia has announced new dates for it’s 2017 edition, taking place on the same weekend that TomorrowWorld has historically been held, September 22-24 and there’s no way a festival would double book in the same city.

No official statement has yet been given by the management of Tomorrowland Brasil 2017. On the other hand, Tomorrowland has announced two weekends for its edition in Belgium.
