ID&T and Armin van Buuren will create an exclusive end show for Mysteryland 2017 Main Stage as the festival comes to a show-stopping close on Sunday 27th August.
The Trance legend, Armin van Buuren returns to Mysteryland festival this year after a 10-year hiatus. This, coupled with the fact that Mysteryland will also be the only festival in The Netherlands the Dutch DJ will perform at this summer, was cause for van Buuren and the festival to create something totally special and unique for the festival finale.
‘‘For me it’s great to be back at Mysteryland after such a long time. It’s a festival I’d love to visit as a fan one day. I have never closed the Main Stage so this one is extra special for me. On top of everything, they asked me if we could develop the end show together. I didn’t have to think twice about how to answer that question. With the creative team from Mysteryland we have worked on a show that includes fireworks, lasers and other special effects. I’m very much looking forward to this show” – Armin.
The upcoming edition of the longest running EDM festival has already sold a record number of tickets. The Saturday and weekend tickets for Holland’s biggest electronic music festival are completely sold out. On top of that, all 15,000 camping spots have been filled by visitors from more than 80 countries.
Next to Armin, the Swedish duo, Axwell /\ Ingrosso have been announced as mainstage headliners. Other highlights include Above & Beyond, Brennan Heart, Carl Cox, Craig David presents TS5, Dave Clarke, Deadmau5, Dillon Francis, Eats Everything, Extrawelt, Gorgon City, Hannah Wants, Ilario Alicante, Kölsch, Miss Kittin, Nastia, Oliver Heldens, Netsky (live), Rebekah, Sam Feldt, Sven Väth, Wilkinson and more. Hardcore empire Thunderdome will also host both festival days.
Further growth of the camping allowed for the festival to expand to 100,000 visitors for the first time ever. Mysteryland takes place from August 25th to August 28th in Haarlemmermeer, near Amsterdam. By offering a complete camping program on Friday, campsite visitors can start their mini-holiday a day early. ID&T, promoter of Mysteryland announced the aforementioned today, with a little less than two weeks to go until the gates open.
