Eric Prydz & [UNVRS] Present A Documentary On The Making Of Holosphere 2.0

Eric Prydz [UNVRS]

Eric Prydz has unveiled the first chapter of a brand new documentary in three parts, chronicling the story behind and production of his most technically advanced live show to date: Holosphere 2.0.

The film takes us behind the scenes and into the creative processes of the artist and his team, as they take on the challenge of bringing Holosphere 2.0 to life. A cutting-edge demonstration of the intersection of technology, innovation and human creativity Holosphere 2.0 is currently in residence at Ibiza’s brand new ‘Hyperclub’ [UNVRS] with shows taking place every Monday night until September 1st 2025.

Shot on location in Ibiza, the documentary takes us from idea to (hyper)reality, introducing us to the producers, venue managers and effects specialists involved in this monumental production, and never before seen images of the show in full effect.

A new installment of the documentary will be released every Wednesday on the Eric Prydz‘ YouTube channel.

Watch the first chapter here.

THE NEXT DIMENSION

Designed from the ground up and engineered for Ibiza’s newest nightclub, Holosphere 2.0 is not a show, it’s a vision fully realized. Towering over eight meters high and weighing eight tones, the Sphere is the result of years of obsessive design and technical refinement, combining a live, reactive performance with a near-impossible feat of engineering.

At the heart of it all: Eric Prydz, surrounded by three transparent layers of custom LED screens, performing inside the world’s first holographic concert sphere. Unlike anything seen before in club culture, Holosphere 2.0 is an arena-scale show crafted for a dark, smoky rave environment. It’s not bound by a fixed storyline. It’s alive, unpredictable, and shaped in real-time by Prydz‘s ever-evolving musical selections.

“We’ve waited six years for this,” says Eric Prydz. “Not because we wanted to, but because we had to. The technology needed to catch up with our vision as every single part of Holosphere 2.0 is bespoke and original. This is what we always dreamed of.”

BUILT FOR THE FUTURE

To build the Sphere, every component had to be custom made. Nothing was off-the-shelf. Engineered with precision, the structure strikes a razor-thin balance between engineering-grade strength and near-total transparency. A feat made possible by [UNVRS]‘s cavernous main room and arena like-infrastructure, making it one of the only venues in the world capable of supporting it.

A dream team of animators and digital artists, including GMUNK brought the Sphere to life, blending cinematic CGI with practical effects captured in a studio in Los Angeles. Giant crystal orbs, plasma balls and burning glass were filmed in 360 degrees, laser-mapped, and stitched into immersive holographic environments — each loop a standalone digital sculpture.

The result is a generational leap forward in show content and visual fidelity. The resolution, pixel pitch, colour depth and engineering have all radically improved since the original Holosphere debuted in 2019. But be aware, this is not a sequel, it’s a complete reimagination of the iconic show concept.

ONLY AT [UNVRS]

Conceived by The Night League, the creative force behind Ushuaïa and Hï Ibiza, and led by Owner, Founder and CEO Yann Pissenem – the venue represents a bold new chapter, part nightclub, part sculpture, part dream.

Beyond its technical specs, the venue offers the creative space and freedom needed to push Holosphere 2.0 to its limits. With an arena-sized ceiling rig, bespoke lighting grid, crystal-clear L-Acoustics sound, and immersive production environment, developed in collaboration with world-renowned production company High Scream, [UNVRS] is not just a venue, it’s part of the performance. For Prydz and his team, the venue represents a perfect alignment: a radical new structure for a radically ambitious show.

Ollie Mundy’s OVAVA Music Is Channeling Ibiza’s Soul Into Afro House

From the Burning Man desert to the dancefloors of Ibiza, Ollie Mundy is carving out a distinct identity in the world of deep, melodic and Afro-infused house.

As Founder and creative force behind OVAVA Music, the UK-born, Ibiza-based DJ and producer is building more than just a label: he’s crafting a visionary platform for emotionally driven, globally inspired electronic music.

After a steady stream of releases and standout sets across Europe and the US, Ollie’s reputation as a label head and artist is rapidly rising. With a monthly show on Bloop Radio, support from heavyweights like Black Coffee, Claptone and Manoo and over 2.6M views on his Burning Man set, his name is increasingly synonymous with quality and depth within the genre.

Now, in 2025, OVAVA Music is hitting its stride with its 9th release, “Cuentame” by Italian duo PRAMA and Argentinian vocalist Estefa Silvera, a deep, soulful cut following PRAMA’s recent No.1 on Beatport’s Afro House chart.

Since launching OVAVA Music, Ollie has curated a catalogue of emotionally-driven tracks that draw from Afro, melodic and progressive house. The label’s vision: to elevate sound rooted in authenticity, with purpose and soul. Ollie Mundy curates each release as an expression of experience, staying true to OVAVA’s emotional core.

Here’s Mundy what he had to say:

“It’s been nearly a year since I launched my own label, OVAVA Music, a journey that began by releasing my own productions to lay the foundation for the sound and emotion I wanted to express.

What started as a personal creative outlet has now evolved into a platform for emerging talent I truly believe in. It’s incredibly rewarding to offer new artists a space to thrive and grow alongside the label.

Watching OVAVA expand has been exciting, not just for me, but for the whole roster and the wider community we’re building. Relocating to Ibiza was a pivotal move; being surrounded by my team and immersed in the island’s natural inspiration has brought a new depth to everything I do.

I don’t know exactly what the future holds, but the momentum is real, and so is the excitement. The energy is building, and it feels like just the beginning.”

Standout releases from artists like DJ Hydra, PRAMA and Ollie himself have earned the label editorial features in Mixmag and DJ Mag, with DJ Hydra’s debut EP ‘Moyo Wa Upendo’ hitting the Traxsource Afro House Top 10, and PRAMA recently landing the coveted Beatport No.1 on Afro House Chart.

Up next on OVAVA Music is Fogel, with the forthcoming single “Breathing Sea” a true summer influenced track which has already captivated dancefloors early into the Ibiza clubbing season.

Ollie Mundy shares: “As part of this evolution, we’ve also launched OVAVA Music Radio, a 24/7 stream of seamless, ad-free music, carefully curated and mixed to reflect the deep, emotive sound we stand for. Over the next year, we’ll be introducing exclusive DJ shows from our artist roster and special guest selectors, bringing even more personality and discovery into the mix.”

With a packed summer schedule that includes his Back To Mine residency at Pikes Ibiza, a performance at 528 for the Sasha & John Digweed afterparty, and his ongoing Organica Radio show, Ollie continues to propel OVAVA Music forward, building momentum through global collaboration.

As 2025 unfolds, Ollie Mundy and OVAVA Music are championing a new wave of soul-filled, story-driven melodic house. It’s not about hype, it’s about depth, connection, and raw emotion, carried by a truly global sound.

Boris Brejcha Releases New Single ‘16 Red Even’ on FCKNG SERIOUS

Boris Brejcha places all his bets on the boisterous new single ’16 Red Even’, out now on his label FCKNG SERIOUS.

The track was inspired by a real moment on New Year’s Eve 2024 — a tense spin at the roulette table that could’ve gone very wrong. Musically, it’s unmistakably Boris: a haunting lead, tight build-up, gritty rolling bass, and that punchy kick.

To mark the release, Boris features in a cinematic music video. In it, he appears as the Joker-style croupier, while his friend Jakob makes a bet he shouldn’t have. It’s a fictional story, but it comes from a very real place.

16 Red Even‘ has been a regularly tried and tested staple of Boris‘ sets during his current Reflections tour, which features a new stage design by renowned events production company High Scream.

The stage for the tour features a futuristic structure built around a reimagined version of Boris’s signature Venetian Joker mask. Fitted with kinetic lighting and LED mapping, the setup brings the music and atmosphere together in a way that feels immersive.

Solomun revives ‘Angel In My Pocket’ for Love Recycled 4 Series

Solomun

Solomun returns with Love Recycled 4, the next installment in the series he launched in 2011 to reimagine the classics that defined modern club culture. This time he’s resurrected ‘Angel In My Pocket’, the sultry 1980s disco gem by Change, and rebuilt it from the ground up into a track that’s as at home in sunlit day sets as it is in late-night clubs.

Now that Love Recycled has grown into its own label, its vision reaches far beyond Solomun alone: a wave of world-class artists will join the journey, unearthing forgotten gems and reimagining them not by imitation but by infusing each track with heart, innovation and true dance-floor spirit.

In this edition of Love Recycled, Solomun strips Change’s original down to its emotive vocal refrain and rolling bassline before rebuilding it from the inside out. He layers in percussion such as congas played by hand and crisp electronic kick patterns alongside rim shots in the Balearic style.

Solomun Love Recycled 4

Lush string motifs drawn from the original orchestral flourishes glide over modern synth pads. Drawing on over a decade of digging for soulful grooves, Solomun weaves in new harmonic turns in the chord progression and introduces a melodic counterpoint that elevates the song’s yearning vocal hook.

The result is a track that feels at home in midday sunshine as well as in the depths of a late night club. Listeners will recognize the sultry swing that made ‘Angel In My Pocket‘ a dance floor staple and will also uncover fresh rhythmic details and emotional peaks, a respectful evolution that stands firmly as Solomuns own.

At the heart of Solomun‘s Love Recycled series lies his profound respect for songwriting and musical heritage. With each edition he treats the original track as an archive to be carefully dismantled, isolating its most evocative hooks, grooves and textures, and then reconstructing them with exacting care and creative vision. The outcome goes beyond a simple remix and emerges as a fully realized work that honors its source while forging a new path.

Love Recycled 4 is out now via the Love Recycled label and will be available across all digital and streaming platforms. Discover Solomun‘s reimagined classic on your favorite service.

Alina Eremia adds a powerful dimension to the track with her emotionally deep voice.

“I’m really happy about this collaboration. “Changes” is about transformation, both literally and metaphorically.
