Massuma breaks the internet with debut single ‘Contesto’ on VOD

Massuma

The groovy Afro house track was released on Keinemusik’s label VOD and has already gained support from Carlita, Amémé, Shimza and many more.

London-based DJ Massuma, formerly known as Sam Savage, makes a standout debut with Contesto, a groovy Afro house single created with DOSAMIS. The track first caught fire in the summer of 2024 as an unnamed ID, lighting up dancefloors and circulating on reels with the comment section blowing up with requests for the track ID.

Officially released on July 4 via Keinemusik‘s label VOD, Contesto wasted no time racking up over 1 million streams, topping Instagram’s trending audio, hitting #2 on the Beatport Afro House chart, and reaching #6 on the main chart.

Played out by heavyweights like Keinemusik, Carlita, Amémé, Mont Rouge, Shimza, and MoBlack, Contesto has become one of the most talked-about tracks in the Afro house space this summer.

Before stepping into the Afro house world as Massuma, he made his mark under the name Sam Savage, spinning for hip hop icons like A$AP Rocky, Future, and Travis Scott. Now based in London and reintroducing himself with a fresh creative identity, Massuma channels that same energy into deeper, more groove-driven territory.

His debut single Contesto captures that shift with a percussive, and undeniably infectious sound, offering a first look at an artist in the midst of reinvention.

Booka Shade unveil the next instalment of their YARUBA project with ‘EP Four’

The pair continue to build momentum, following the success of their recent release, ‘EP Three’.

Hot on the heels of their recent ‘EP Three’ release, Booka Shade continue their deep dive into the revitalized YARUBA alias with ‘EP Four’, a bold three-track statement set, out now via their Blaufield Music imprint.

EP Four’ opens with ‘Siren’, a spiraling cut defined by its surging synths and rising tension, capturing the high-stakes drama of a peak-time dancefloor. ‘Base Mind’ follows with a driving, relentless energy, anchored in sharp percussion, rolling basslines, and tightly wound synths.

Rounding out the package is ‘Supernatural’, a more hypnotic, acid-drenched excursion that blurs the lines between house and melodic techno, offering a moment of atmospheric release without losing the EP’s driving momentum.

Originally launched in the mid-2010s and reignited earlier this year in the midst of a brief hiatus from their main Booka Shade project, YARUBA has emerged as a newly energized creative outlet for the German duo.

Where ‘EP Three’ reintroduced fans to slick floor-focused productions that first defined the alias, ‘EP Four’ pushes that vision further, showcasing the pair’s enduring knack for forward-thinking dancefloor innovation with a renewed creative spark.

Pan-Pot Unveils Official Anthem for This Year’s Street Parade OPERA

Legendary techno duo Pan-Pot have announced the launch of the label and event brand HUMAN, which followed with two seminal releases ‘AERO’ and ‘Nightcode’. Looking ahead to August, the Berlin artists will perform at the official Street Parade Afterparade (9th August), Cologne (KESSEL on 17th August), and Los Angeles (Venue TBA on 22nd August).

As the world eagerly anticipates the return of the iconic Street Parade – the duo will have an active dual role in shaping this year’s experience: curating the official anthem ‘OPERA‘, and launching the new event series HUMAN as the official afterparty.

With over 1.2 million techno lovers expected to flood Zurich’s streets for the world’s largest celebration of electronic music, Pan-Pot will release the anthem that promises to define this monumental gathering.

Titled “OPERA (Street Parade Anthem)”, the track blends cinematic grandeur with Pan-Pot’s signature driving techno energy — a sonic embodiment of the parade’s spirit of unity, freedom, and euphoria.

David Guetta Drops Two Remixes Of ‘A Better World’

David Guetta and Cedric Gervais’s latest hit, ‘A Better World’, gets a fresh spin with two remixes: one from Brazilian hitmaker Kiko Franco, and another from Gervais himself, teaming up with Miami-based DJ, producer, and label boss Alexander Orue.

The new versions arrive off the back of impressive momentum for the original, which has already racked up 10 million global streams (including 1.7 million in the UK), earned spots on BBC Radio 1’s A List and the Kiss playlist, #1 Music Week Pop Chart, reached #90 on the UK airplay chart with over 400 spins, and generated 5 million TikTok views.

Further spotlighting the original’s soaring vocal, inspired by Jackie Moore‘s poignant 70s soul classic of the same name, Cedric Gervais and Alexander Orue rework the track into a main stage, festival-ready anthem, amplifying its emotional core with dramatic, gargantuan synths.

Kiko Franco takes a more leftfield route, reshaping the bassline into a smooth, gliding groove and reimagining the melody through flurries of jazzy piano and a riotous, organ-led second drop, resulting in pure dancefloor chaos.

These two high-impact remixes of ‘A Better World‘ are out now on Atlantic Records, marking another peak moment in a landmark year for two of French dance music’s most enduring icons.

Rebūke releases Debut Studio Album ‘World of Era’

The internationally acclaimed producer and artist releases the World Of Era, charged by the focus track “Ignite” featuring Au/Ra.

The 15 tracks across World Of Era are each carefully crafted pieces of music accompanied by a visual narrative, allowing people to experience Rebūke‘s ERA vision and storytelling in full and create something truly remarkable.

Accompanying him on this fantastic journey are a wide range of collaborators from esteemed producers and artists deadmau5, P.T. Adamczyk and Linska to vocalists Karin Park, Au/Ra, Greta Svabo Bech, Ed Graves and songwriter Melissa De Kleine.

The album focus track “Ignite” pairs Rebūke with Au/Ra. On “Ignite“, the international singer/songwriter known for her features on CamelPhat‘s “Panic Room” and Alan Walker‘s “Darkside” among other works with Gryffin, Afrojack and Alok brings her haunting voice to the song.

Shares Rebūke, “‘Ignite’ is the lead single from the album, a track about love emerging from darkness when you least expect it. I built the artwork and visuals around that idea – a couple standing together as The World of Era collapses around them.

They’ve made peace with the end, choosing to share their final moments together in a sort of bittersweet beauty found in the chaos way. Au/Ra’s haunting yet beautifully ethereal vocals elevate the emotion. I’m proud of this one”.

Adds Au/Ra, “Dance music will always be a part of my artistry, and I love collaborating with artists in this space. Rebūke’s sound and visuals fit so well in my world. I’m so happy we got to do this song and hope others enjoy it.”

Alongside “Ignite“, listeners will be captivated by tracks like “Endless” featuring Ed Graves with deadmau5, “Erase” featuring Greta Svabo Bech and instrumentals “Juno,” “Aingeal” and “Where You Are.”

Also featured is his collaboration “Choose Life” with Linska, a conceptual track that takes inspiration from the cult classic Trainspotting, reimagining Irvine Welsh‘s iconic monologue for the present day. Video game composer P.T. Adamczyk – known for his music for “The Witcher” and Cyberpunk 2077 – joins Rebūke on “Chaos,” a gritty, dystopian piece with glimmers of beauty as well as “Forever” with Aya Anne.

As a multi-layered artist who emphasizes visuals as an extension of his art alongside his music, the creative for The World Of Era takes us through a dystopian wonderland as seen in visualizers for “Endless“, “Choose Life“, “Teardrops” and “Ignite.” Look for Rebūke to incorporate these looks into his live shows in support of The World of Era.
