Over the past few years that Burning Man has been held, rumors have flown about Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter, also known as the duo Daft Punk, playing secrets sets at the annual gathering.

There have been countless fake sets and viral videos of helmeted faux DJ’s, but there has been no actual confirmation that Daft Punk have ever actually made it to the trip up to the Nevada Desert.

This year was no different, with reports coming out that Daft Punk had been sighted playing a set at “the fence”, a spot on the outer parts of the Playa. With so many imitation Daft Punk sets being thrown over the years, there’s no telling if this set was legitimate or not.
