The Drumcode boss has been enjoying the most prolific production period of his career in recent times, while reinforcing his sonic range in the process.
Recent highlights have included his standout ‘Let’s Begin‘ EP which mined classic Drumcode influences, while his remix of Sharam‘s PATT (Party All The Time) with Green Velvet and Layton Giordani showed a different side to his repertoire, and delivered his first overall Beatport no.1 along the way.
His latest three-track offering ‘Ghost Kiss‘, continues the creative purple patch. The title track sounds like a techno outtake from ‘Requiem for a Dream‘s’ soundtrack, deliciously unsettling and striking. This was made for big moments, propelled by a commanding vox that urges us to move our bodies.

‘Pilot‘ shows Beyer‘s musical breadth and commanding sound design, taking in elements of synth wave and indie pop all within a driving techno context. A captivating listen. The finale ‘Jack‘, continues the inspired sonic referencing; a narrative-led dancefloor jaunt that takes in subtle elements of house and electro, with Beyer‘s unique twist.
Speaking about the EP, Adam Beyer said:
“This is maybe my favorite solo EP in the last couple of years. I’ve been hammering all three tracks at various points in my sets over the last six months and they all feel like A-side material to me.
My main goal doing those tracks was to make something that doesn’t sound like everything else out there at the moment. Drawing inspiration and sounds from other genres that might not be the current typical techno sound. Every song represents a strong emotion for me.”
Sara Landry is releasing Heaven, a collaboration with Alt8 and the first single from her debut album due to take the Hard Techno scene by storm, on the artist’s very own HEKATE imprint. With the collab album coming this summer, Heaven is destined to be a summer anthem with its pulsating energy coursing through the air, and a crowd of thousands moving in sync to the infectious beat.
Spearheading the hard techno scene, California born Sara Landry is known for her captivating hair raising performances and innovative approach to music. Having been raised in Austin, Sara was surrounded by a rich musical heritage from an early age.
Influenced by the city’s diverse soundscape, she developed a deep appreciation for a wide range of musical genres, from jazz and blues to funk and electronic dance music. A self taught DJ, producer and sound engineer Sara’s trajectory has been nothing short of remarkable, selling out 10,000 capacity venues within minutes, streaming figures in the millions and championing a female presence in the techno scene.

“My next release on Hekate is a massive collab with my good friend and HEKATE regular Alt8. We did 3 days in the studio at the beginning of April, and during one of those sessions we felt like making a cute little summer banger, so we did.
‘Heaven’ came together in less than 3 hours and I’m happy to have it as my first single of 2024! This track is something really different for me. It’s fun, it’s sexy, it’s sunshine-ready and there’s nothing else out there like this right now.”

Swiss electronic duo Adriatique have united with Austrian-Swedish pairing Solique for their new single ‘Changing Colors’ featuring singer-songwriter Also Astir out now via X Recordings.

Zürich creatives Adrian Shala and Adrian Schweizer have distinguished themselves with their forward-thinking sound and pioneering artistry. For over a decade, Adriatique have garnered a reputation with their mesmerizing releases on Afterlife, Rose Avenue, and Diynamic, and remixes of RÜFUS DU SOL, and Swedish House Mafia and The Weeknd.

After its grand anniversary celebration, Time Warp is back at Maimarkt Mannheim on October 25 and 26, 2024 for a significant birthday celebration as techno legend Sven Väth turns 60.
The “compact” edition of Time Warp began in 2021 due to the pandemic and was so well-received that it has become an annual fall tradition. This year, Two Days Two Stages transforms into Two Days Two Celebrations, celebrating 30 years of Time Warp and 60 years of Sven Väth.
On Friday, Sven‘s birthday will be celebrated with a stage in the Maimarkthalle, and on Saturday, the second part of the 30-year celebration will take place with the usual two stages in the Maimarkthalle and -club. A diverse lineup of long-time Time Warpheroes and newcomers has been curated to mark the special occasion.

Sven Väth, who first performed at Time Warp in 1995 and has been an integral part of the family since, will be performing, while Nina Kraviz will join in the celebrations, along with Keinemusik members &ME and Rampa. A back-to-back set from Charlotte de Witte and Enrico Sangiuliano is also expected to be a fan highlight.
On Saturday, techno and house music heavyweights like Adam Beyer, Indira Paganotto, Reinier Zonneveld, and Vintage Culture will perform for the lucky attendees. New talents such as Alignment, Cera Khin, Miss Monique, and Nico Moreno will make their Time Warp debut.

Fans can look forward to another stellar edition in this jubilee year. The April Time Warp drew 30,000 visitors from around the world to celebrate with over 70 artists for nearly 30 hours. A successful edition followed in Sao Paulo. This fall, alongside Mannheim, Time Warp will debut in Madrid and hold its seventh edition in New York.
