Tomorrowland & One World Radio unveil a unique new podcast series, Fondue Friends

Tomorrowland & One World Radio are excited to unveil ‘Fondue Friends’, a unique podcast series featuring Dutch legend Armin van Buuren, American artist LP Giobbi and Australian twin sisters NERVO.

Recorded during Tomorrowland Winter 2025 in the stunning alpine setting of Alpe d’Huez in France, this three-part series captures an exclusive fondue lunch shared by the three artists.

As they open envelopes with personal, funny, and thought-provoking questions, listeners are invited into an intimate, surprising, and heartfelt conversation that dives deep into their lives – past, present, and future.

From laughter to vulnerability across three intimate episodes, ‘Fondue Friends‘ offers a rare and touching glimpse into the minds and hearts of these world-renowned DJs and producers beyond stage.

Here’s what Armin van Buuren had to say:

“I started this WhatsApp group – there’s 125 DJs in there. We share about the darker side of the DJ industry. We have meetings, and we organized a retreat with DJs. We do yoga, we eat vegetarian for a week, we go for walks, and we talk about the difficult parts.

Not to say our job isn’t nice, because I feel blessed to do what I do. I wish there was more of a message to young people, saying – yes, the DJ world is amazing, and part of the fairytale is true, but there’s a big but.

Sooner or later, every single DJ is going to run into a big wall. We can’t complain, because we do have the best job in the world. But there needs to be room for saying I feel like shit today.”

LP Giobbi added: “My fiancé was wearing an LP Giobbi shirt and was showing a house to somebody. The person was like ‘oh LP Giobbi, she’s married to DJ Tennis, right? I love them!’ My partner was like ‘actually we are engaged’. That was the funniest thing ever.”

NERVO: “We were full-time songwriters before we were DJs. We will go back – we’re in the studio once a week now.”

The ‘Fondue Friends‘ podcast series is part of the broader Tomorrowland Podcasts collection, which brings together a variety of immersive stories such as ‘20 Years, 20 Questions‘, ‘One World Radio Cable Casts‘, and ‘My Way‘.

These podcasts transport fans, visitors, and curious listeners into the enchanting universe of Tomorrowland. Whether unveiling behind-the-scenes moments or sharing untold narratives, each episode extends the Tomorrowland experience beyond the festival grounds – capturing its magic through words and sound.

Thursday, October 23: An Explosive Opening

DGTL kicks off ADE 2025 with Australian outfit Confidence Man, bringing their flamboyant and wildly danceable live show to Amsterdam. One of the hottest dance acts on the planet, their no-holds-barred blend of disco, electro and pop, drenched in tongue-in-cheek theatrics sets the tone for what’s to come.

That same night, DGTL dives straight into the deep end with a two-headed club program showcasing the forward-thinking spirit the brand is known for. In Area 1, artists like SAIDAH, Diffrent and Benwal build the tension toward peak-time sets by Daria Kolosova and Pegassi.

Area 2 serves an eclectic menu of high-octane energy, including promising duo Emvae & Moxes, whose profile has risen significantly in recent months. Their unique blend of raw breaks, hypnotic techno and emotional layers saw them earn an honorable mention from Dutch music bible 3voor12 as “ones to watch”.

With boundless energy in the booth and a sharp sense of build-up, the pair have become renowned for setting every dance floor they encounter on fire. Together with DJ Fuckoff they ensure a tireless night, perfect for those who don’t plan to stand still for a moment.

Friday, October 24: MEUTE

Arguably the most unique act across the entirety of ADE is German techno marching band MEUTE. Bringing an unforgettable early-evening live show that blends brass and beats in stunning harmony, expect a unique, genre-defying night.

Saturday, October 25: From Golden Hour to Pitch Black

During the day, Ben Böhmer crafts a carefully composed line-up featuring melodic and deeply emotional electronic music. Think deep grooves, dreamy builds, and a golden hour feeling that will fill the room.

Among others on the line-up, Mees Salomé who promises to set the tone with his profound and progressive sound, in which layered construction and a strong connection with the dance floor are both central.

Parra for Cuva (live) takes over with his characteristic mix of soulful electronics and worldly samples: an atmospheric set with a sublime chill factor that floats somewhere between euphoria and melancholy.

Closing out the day program, Ben Böhmer takes to the stage with his beloved live show; atmospheric, melodic and perfectly balanced between introspection and danceable energy. In Area 2 the energy shifts from dreamy to uplifting, with acts such as Juno Mamba, Joplyn (live) and Deer Jade, each giving their own twist to the club sound of today.

Once the NDSM warehouse empties, doors open again at 23:30 for the nighttime round. In the dark, the atmosphere takes a radical shift, becoming a battleground for the heavyhitters: Patrick Mason, 999999999, Boys Noize & SPFDJ and Anetha line-up for a relentless audiovisual assault of raw intensity and high-impact energy.

In Area 2, SESH takes over with a raw, uncompromising and edgy lineup including MCR-T, future.666 and Somewhen – a fiery homage to underground rave culture.

Sunday, October 26: DGTL x FUSE

This year’s traditional DGTL Sunday is all about FUSE, the legendary London collection known for its refined selection, impeccable curation, and timeless house sound. Area 1 is led by heavyweights like Raresh, Traumer and Enzo Siragusa, bolstered by fresh and contemporary names including Rossi and Sweely.

Area 2 plays host to hand-picked selectors including Ogazón, Call Super, Shanti Celeste, Dr Banana and the Dutch DouDou MD, known for her rhythmically strong, spiritual and percussive vinyl sets brimming with 90s inspired house and techno. Moby, BLOND:ISH, & Kiko Franco Join Forces for “Natural Blues”

A powerhouse collaboration arrives on Defected as BLOND:ISH, Moby, and Kiko Franco come together for “Natural Blues.”

A conduit of positivity with many strings to her bow, BLOND:ISH has emerged as one of this generation’s most acclaimed electronic artists. From her magical Abracadabra event series and label to launching the non-profit environmental organization Bye Bye Plastic, to playing the biggest stages around the world like Coachella, Tomorrowland, and Pacha Ibiza‘s first-ever headlining female residency in summer 2025, there is nothing BLOND:ISH can’t do.

BLOND:ISH returns to Defected alongside Moby, one of the world’s most prolific and best-selling artists in dance music history.

“Moby randomly called me (I never met him, just idolized him since I was a kid) and asks: ‘Wanna remix one of my songs?’ I’m like, ‘Any song?!’ He’s like, ‘Yep, pick one.’ I was with Kiko in Rio, Brazil – so we laid down two ideas in the studio… one felt special and before we knew it, the remix turned into a collab.” BLOND:ISH

The two superstars are joined by established Brazilian DJ, producer, and remixer Kiko Franco, who has worked with the likes of Duke Dumont and Vintage Culture, while also lending his sound to chart-topping tracks from Shouse and Zerb.

Here’s what Kiko Franco had to say:

“BLOND:ISH and I were already talking about working on something together, so I was thrilled when she came to me with the idea of working on ‘Natural Blues’ by Moby. We worked on the track remotely, her in Miami and myself in São Paulo.

We went through a couple of drafts and I’m really happy with how it turned out. It perfectly showcases how all of our strong points came together. BLOND:ISH is a powerhouse and welcomed me with open arms.”

Natural Blues” is the coming together of three experts in their field: Moby‘s signature sample-led sound is underpinned by BLOND:ISH‘s upbeat piano patterns and brilliant synth stabs to create a rich house record destined to uplift dancefloors globally this summer.

Kiko Franco‘s signature touch blends seamlessly into the production, showcasing his distinctive use of melodic leads and Afro House percussion – key elements that maximize pre-drop tension and explode into the vocals and main drop.

“I’m happy to be able to add elements of my identity to the track, especially my leads and my Afro House percussion, which both really come to life in this song. I truly admire her and all I can do is express my gratitude to her for this opportunity to work with her and Moby, who has always been one of my main inspirations as an artist.”Kiko Franco

Roskilde Festival presents this year’s Art & Activism programme

In recent years, art and activism have become an increasingly central part of the programme at Roskilde Festival – the independent, non-profit Danish festival that will run for the 53rd time this summer.

This year, topics such as overconsumption, diversity, accessibility for minorities, and the potential of celebration as a form of protest are among the themes festival participants will encounter in the Art & Activism programme.

“We’ve made a dedicated effort to create an Art & Activism programme that engages festival participants with some of the most pressing matters of our time — and does so in a variety of ways. The programme embraces a wide range of formats and expressions, showcasing both prominent Danish and international names.

Whether you’re already deeply involved in these themes or simply curious — and whether you’re seeking something thought-provoking, moving, or entertaining — there’s every reason to explore the Art & Activism programme,” says Signe Brink Wehl, Roskilde Festival‘s Director of Art.

Giant art installation at camp site

A striking sight awaits festival participants and others who pass by the hills at Roskilde Festival‘s camp site throughout the year. A new artwork, The Long Way Around, resembles a giant wheelchair ramp spiraling around the hill all the way to the top.

Created by the award-winning British artist Jesse Darling, the artwork makes the climb more accessible for wheelchair users, while offering others “a long way around” — an alternative, slow, and sensory path to the top. The Long Way Around is expected to remain in place for five years.

Art in a world not always designed for everyone

Other artworks and events also highlight the strengths that emerge when navigating a world not always designed for everyone. This is a central theme in the art installation our voises carry futur dreams, that explores life with dyslexia. The artwork is created by Danish artist Julie Nymann, who also features with the sound installation Advantages of Being Dyslexic.

This theme is also explored by the Georgian queer collective Eau de Cologne. In their talk When Rave Becomes Political, they discuss life as LGBTQ+ individuals in a society marked by growing authoritarian tendencies. On top of that, they unleash the activist potential of partying through a live performance infused with ’90s rave energy.

50 tons of secondhand clothes and a textile zombie

Fifty tons of secondhand clothes are piled high at the festival site in the art installation Return to Sender. Created by the Kenyan artist collective The Nest Collective, the artwork confronts festival participants with the grotesque waste landscapes that are all too common in low-income countries, highlighting the urgent need to rethink our consumption habits.

The same message is carried by British artist Jeremy Hutchinson, who haunts the festival as a textile zombie covered in dumped secondhand clothing in the performance Dead White Man.

Plenty of performance at Platform

At Platform, Roskilde‘s stage for experimental hybrid formats, performance art is in focus.

“Performance art is evolving rapidly these years, and at Platform we’ve gathered a number of artistic frontrunners. One of the trends we’re seeing right now is that more artists are blending different forms of expression such as dance, music, theatre, and visual art.

Our stage is designed for these hybrid formats and gives artists the opportunity to experiment with new forms that also engage the festival participants in the intimate space that Platform provides,” says Signe Brink Wehl.

One of the names festival participants can experience on Platform this year is the critically acclaimed Turkish artist Göksu Kunak, who presents the intense and visually striking performance Hungry 2.0. In a raw, industrial stage setting, Kunak blends video, pole dance, and bodybuilding to explore how the body can be transformed — and be both captivating and unsettling.

Festival participants can also experience the dance performance WIRED by Danish choreographer Marie Kaae, massive laser projections by British artist Matt Copson, the circus performance MANIFEST, created especially for Roskilde Festival, drag karaoke, and much more.

Amnesia reveals its 2025 full season calendar

With fresh residencies and a new, immersive sound system, Amnesia doubles down on what matters: music and atmosphere first. This summer is not about spectacle. It’s a return to feeling.

The foundation of Ibiza’s nightlife is still the dancefloor, not the billboards, not the follower counts, and definitely not VIP dominance. Nightclubs are places to escape, immerse yourself in sound, and an opportunity to connect through shared moments; Amnesia continues to hold space for those who don’t arrive to be seen, but to disappear.

That’s the clear message behind this season’s full program, which sees a strong mix of breakthrough residencies and global brands. Ben Hemsley, KETTAMA, and East End DubsEastenderz stand alongside the likes of Resistance, Boiler Room, and Do Not Sleep – a line-up rooted in substance, and not reliant on scale.

In a year where much of the island is shifting towards spectacle and predictability, Amnesia continues to offer a rawer alternative. A space for clubbers who value curation over convenience, and nights that still run on instinct. At its core, this season is built on the same principles that have defined Amnesia for nearly 50 years: music, freedom, and lasting memory.

The programming speaks to that energy. Mondays see a refreshed Amnesia Presents, with Ben Hemsley and KETTAMA hosting guests including Interplanetary Criminal and Denis Sulta on the iconic terrace.

On Tuesdays, East End Dubs brings his Eastenderz brand to Amnesia for the first time; a signature night of low-slung, groove-heavy house that’s built a cult following across Europe.

Wednesdays mark the exciting return of Ultra‘s Resistance after a five-year absence, reclaiming space for techno. Artbat and Adam Beyer lead as residents, with a focus on exclusive back-to-back sets, guests including Richie Hawtin, ANNA, Maceo Plex, and Hardwell who will be making his only Ibiza appearance in 2025.

Thursdays belong to Boiler Room, launching its first-ever Ibiza club residency following 2024’s landmark one-off with Charli XCX. Bringing many artists and sounds to the island for the first time, the residency blends raw energy with alternative curation, featuring The Streets, Bicep, Chase & Status, Sammy Virji, Flowdan, Joy Orbison and more.

On Fridays, Mathame return with NEO; a cinematic, melodic techno residency fusing sound and high-concept visuals into four exclusive events. A dreamscape for those who like their dancefloor experience transportive.

Saturdays welcome Bresh, the vibrant Argentinian party known for its mix of reggaetón, Latin club sounds, and color-drenched production. Now in a prime-time slot and with guests still to be announced, it promises one of the island’s most high-energy atmospheres and a genuine alternative for clubbers who prefer music that looks beyond the 4/4.

Sundays close the week with Pyramid, Amnesia‘s flagship underground session. Expect house, minimal, and techno from artists like Amelie Lens, DJ Tennis, Nina Kraviz, Ricardo Villalobos, and Vintage Culture; a weekly showcase for DJs who move people without needing the spotlight.

The summer also includes takeovers and one-offs that reflect Amnesia‘s wide musical reach: BBC Radio 1 Dance X returns, alongside a run of exclusive Mixmag Ibiza Sessions (Boys Noize, Angerfist, Fish56Octagon), Homobloc (Sugababes, Horse Meat Disco), Teletech (Patrick Mason), Fatima Hajji Invites, and the reappearance of Godskitchen with Paul Van Dyk, Eddie Halliwell and trance pioneers in September.

Alongside the legendary two-day closing party which will take place on October 10th and 11th, the team promise more surprises throughout the season, with many exclusive parties still to be announced.

As Ibiza continues to set the tone for global dance culture, Amnesia takes that responsibility seriously. 2025 is a year of undistracted sharp curation that platforms the next generation of talent, whilst embracing the sounds that have become part of the island’s DNA.

Notre Dame delivers hypnotic remix of Röyksopp’s “Sordid Affair”

French electronic visionary Notre Dame has unveiled his captivating remix of Röyksopp’s “Sordid Affair,” the latest rework to emerge from the Norwegian duo’s acclaimed True Electric album project.

Out now via Royksopp‘s Dog Triumph, the remix forms part of a carefully curated series featuring some of electronic music’s most exciting contemporary voices, and follows DJ Tennis‘s acclaimed interpretation of Röyksopp‘s 2005 classic “What Else Is There.”

Notre Dame‘s take on “Sordid Affair” – originally featured on Röyksopp‘s celebrated 2014 LP The Inevitable End – showcases his signature ability to transform beloved classics into hypnotic dancefloor journeys.

His remix maintains the haunting essence of the original while infusing it with his cinematic approach to electronic production, creating a piece that bridges nostalgic reverence with forward-thinking club sensibilities.

The release caps an extraordinary year for the Paris-born producer, who launched his Paranormal Society label platform in March with the breakthrough single “Do For Your Love.” The track garnered immediate support from industry titans including Keinemusik, Adriatique, and RÜFÜS DU SOL, cementing Notre Dame‘s position as one of electronic music’s most promising emerging voices following his initial breakthrough releases on Diynamic, Innervisions, and Cercle Records.
