Teksupport Announce Solomun at Fulton Fish Market in NY

Solomun

New York City’s most influential nightlife brand Teksupport has announced a special Memorial Day Weekend open-air performance with electronic music icon Solomun. Taking place on May 23 at the historic Fulton Fish Market in Hunts Point, the event marks the debut of large-scale outdoor concert programming at the venue’s East River waterfront.

Solomun remains one of club culture’s most influential figures, known for expansive, emotionally charged sets that blur the line between underground credibility and global appeal.

The Bosnian-born producer’s signature sound has shaped dance floors worldwide, from his long-running Solomun +1 residency in Ibiza to the continued evolution of his label Dynamic Music.

Teksupport has continuously pushed the boundaries of traditional nightlife in the city, transforming overlooked, derelict, raw and unexpected spaces, including submarine factories, navy yards, subterranean ballrooms, passenger boats, and even Grand Central Station, into unforgettable event experiences.

The Fulton Fish Market setting marks a new chapter in the collective’s exploration of unconventional, large-scale outdoor venues, offering a rare opportunity to experience Solomun in a working waterfront environment unlike any other in the city.

Presented in partnership with the Fulton Fish Market Cooperative, the May 23rd event reflects the Cooperative‘s growing commitment to unexpected cultural programming beyond its historic role in the city’s food system.

Founded in 1822, the nonprofit, member-owned organization operates from a 400,000-square-foot facility in the Bronx, and supplies nearly half of New York City‘s seafood, making the site both a vital piece of infrastructure and an emerging platform for large-scale cultural moments.

Led by founder Rob Toma, Teksupport has spent the past decade reshaping New York City‘s nightlife through forward-thinking curation and cutting-edge production. Widely recognized for introducing some of Europe’s most influential dance music brands to the United States, the collective has become a defining force in the evolution of the city’s underground music landscape.

In Rob‘s words “After many years of work, we’re excited to partner with the Fulton Fish Market Collective and the City to unlock a truly special location in Hunts Point, continuing our commitment to pushing culture forward in New York City.”

Shimza & Elderbrook Release New Single “Falling” on Helix Records

Shimza and Elderbrook reunite on ‘Falling’ out now on Helix Records – a new single that captures the meeting point between emotional weight and forward-moving rhythm.

Released via Helix Records, the single marks the duo’s latest collaboration following the success of 2024’s “Places”, the acclaimed closing track on Elderbrook’s Another Touch album.

Built around Shimza’s unmistakable Afro-tech propulsion, “Falling” unfolds patiently, allowing tension and space to guide the listener before releasing into something quietly powerful.

Elderbrook’s vocal delivery cuts through the groove with intent — expressive yet restrained — creating a dialogue between rhythm and feeling rather than a simple topline moment. The result is a record that balances movement and meaning, designed for late-night dancefloors as much as solitary listens.

Shimza

The release arrives during a defining period for Shimza. Widely recognized as the visionary force behind Kunye, the label and event series that has become a vital platform for African electronic music on the global stage, Shimza has helped reshape how Afro-centric club culture is experienced worldwide.

From landmark events in Johannesburg to London, including a now-legendary B2B with Black Coffee, to upcoming showcases across his home country around Pretoria and Durban, Kunye continues to push boundaries while staying rooted in community and culture.

As an artist, Shimza has amassed a devoted global following through his refined Afro-tech sound and high-profile collaborations with artists including Rachel Chinouriri, Aloe Blacc and Louie Vega.

His career has also been marked by a series of viral, era-defining performances for platforms such as Boiler Room and Cercle, cementing his reputation as one of South Africa’s most influential electronic exports.

Elderbrook, meanwhile, remains one of electronic music’s most compelling voices – a producer and songwriter known for weaving introspection into club-ready frameworks. With a catalogue spanning chart-topping singles, celebrated albums, and collaborations that consistently bridge emotion and energy, his presence on “Falling” feels instinctive rather than incidental.

Together, Shimza and Elderbrook deliver a track that doesn’t rush its impact. “Falling” is deliberate, immersive, and quietly arresting – a record that lingers long after the final beat.

Ben Sterling returns to Planet X to open 2026 with new single, ‘Und Tanzen’

Ben Sterling

Planet X head honcho Ben Sterling delivers his first original release on the label since last summer’s ‘Rapture’ with ‘Und Tanzen’, a dark, heady statement that further sharpens his forward-facing vision.

Following his widely supported remix of Moontalk’s ‘Hot Line 84’ and his high-profile rework of Franz Ferdinand, the track arrives as a confident next chapter: one that signals Sterling’s continued evolution at the darker, more left-of-centre intersection of house music.

Rooted in heavy indie dance and electro influences, ‘Und Tanzen’ unfolds with warped synth lines, shadowy atmospheres, and a driving, hypnotic groove that locks into the floor with authority.

Its tension-led arrangement and raw, tactile sonics give the track a late-night intensity, blurring the lines between dancefloor functionality and expression.

Ben Sterling Und Tanzen

There’s a sense of momentum coursing through the production, offering a record designed to pull dancers inward rather than chase obvious peaks. Dark, immersive, and uncompromising, the track captures an artist in full control of his sound, and a label continuing to shape its own lane as a home for bold, cross-genre club music.

Avision launches new label Ground Rule Records with debut single, ‘Out Of Control’

Avision ignites a new chapter in his New York–fueled universe with the launch of Ground Rule Records, the latest extension of his multi-disciplinary Ground Rule Collective.

Fittingly, the label’s first release, ‘Out Of Control’, is a statement cut: driving, groove-led, and unmistakably tied to the energy of the city that shaped him. Shaped for peak house, late nights, and packed dancefloors, it sets the tone for a label rooted in personality, precision, and the instinctive feel of his diverse sound.

Here’s what Avision had to say:

“Starting Ground Rule Records is a way for me to release all the music I want to release when I want to release it. I’m at a stage in my career now where it only feels right to do this for myself and eventually start finding younger artists to bring on this journey. I’m so excited for everyone to hear what I have in store for the label.”

Ground Rule Records arrives as the musical arm of a wider movement. What began as a lifestyle-led collective, pulling together music, events, clothing, art, and food under one philosophy, has quickly grown into a cultural hub powered by New York attitude.

His Ground Rule events series at Superior Ingredients has already become a home base, while the debut clothing drop marked the start of an evolving identity built around his ethos of keeping things honest, direct, and proudly local.

Avision Out Of Control
Avision – Out Of Control

That foundation comes from a lifetime in the city. Raised in Staten Island and now based in New Jersey, Avision’s path began early: experimenting with production at 12, inspired by a family steeped in music and the iconic New York figures who defined the sound of its clubs.

His releases across labels such as Ellum Audio, Crosstown Rebels, Cod3 QR, and Cocoon, and the acclaim for his album ‘In My Mind’, cemented him as a key voice in modern techno and house.

Meanwhile, his collaborations, including the launch of MATTER+ with cousin Victor Calderone, have reinforced his reputation as an artist who moves with intention and consistency.

Across dancefloors worldwide, Avision has become known for sets that are uplifting, groovy, and driven by a deep connection to the room, whether at TimeWarp NYC, Hï Ibiza, Amnesia, Club Space, The Brooklyn Mirage, or across marathon open-to-close sessions.

Ground Rule Records channels that same approach: music built from experience, sharpened by craft, and delivered with the no-nonsense confidence of someone who knows exactly what works when the lights are low and the system is pushed.

Out Of Control’ marks a confident starting point; bold, focused, and unmistakably Avision, setting up a platform that will grow with him. Ground Rule Records is here to amplify the world he’s been building, one release, one event, and one New York-driven idea at a time.
