Vel C. Drops ‘Bloodline,’ a Psytrance-Infused Hard Dance Weapon

Vel C. continues to push boundaries between dancefloor energy and social commentary with his latest release, ‘Bloodline,’ a Psytrance-infused Hard Dance track that weaves Serbian heritage into relentless basslines and hypnotic rhythms.

Released via, overHAUL – his own label and event series, a platform for both his own output and that of emerging Serbian artists – the track marks a statement of intent, bringing his creative vision into sharp focus as he continues to move with passion, energy, and artistic intuition.

Working to express himself through sound, Vel C. has developed a creative mindset that values originality and connection. Aiming to weave both personal and broader societal themes into his productions, he seeks to craft narratives that carry the weight of history without losing Hard Dance’s raw, dancefloor appeal.

Now, in ‘Bloodline,’ he builds on this approach; representing an interplay of chaos against peace and optimism – something rooted deep in Serbian history – he offers a track that reflects his cultural heritage, all whilst encapsulating the storytelling efforts and sonic intensity behind his work.

Vel C. Bloodline

A propulsive kick and a tapestry of Acid synth sequences form the sonic makeup of ‘Bloodline,’ laying the groundwork for a track defined by raw energy and drive. From the modulating, pulsating leads and layered synth work to the haunting melodic line that weaves beneath the surface, the arrangement delivers a relentless sound.

As the breakdown arrives, the echoing vocal undercurrent grows louder, breaking through the chaos until the track erupts with playfulness and upbeat energy.

A journey of high-powered momentum, the track marks the first direct infusion of Vel C.’s Serbian heritage into his sound. From the lead synth, evocative of a Serbian harmonica, to melodies written in one of the most common scales in Serbian music, it carries Balkan and oriental character, drawing inspiration from traditional Serbian Ethno music whilst upholding the Hard Techno sound that has come to define Vel C.’s signature style.

A blend of depth, raw grit, and cultural identity, ‘Bloodline’ lands within Vel C.’s catalogue with a sense of purpose and precision – showcasing the evolution of his artistic vision, while honoring the heritage that continues to shape his perspective.

Having reached charting positions with his work, Vel C. continues to navigate the genre as a multifaceted force, now offering ‘Bloodline‘ as the latest display of his clear, instinctive creative vision.

So, be sure to discover his sound today, out now and available to stream and download across all platforms, and keep up-to-date with Vel C.’s upcoming releases, news, and projects by following him across social media.

Tel Aviv-based Oi unveils his debut project via his own label, Yaffa Records – a 5-track EP released under the same name, ‘Yaffa.’ Giving way to driving grooves and bold melodic flavour, the production reveals new dimensions to Oi and his ever-developing sound.

A label founded in memory of Omer Inbar’s mother, the seasoned Producer, DJ, and Sound Engineer behind the Oi name, this marks just one more step within his creative journey.

 Oi Yaffa EP
Oi – Yaffa EP

Throughout the 5 tracks, driving House rhythms meet organic instrumentals and dynamic basslines, culminating in a rich and textured collection.

From the almost experimental title-track ‘Yaffa’, to the Spanish vocal layers, mariachi-like horn lines, and guitar licks within ‘Pasi Del Alma’, the catchy vocal hooks and bright motifs of ‘You Got Me,’ the festive ‘Luma’, to the deep and energetic ‘Desert Blood’, the diverse influences shaping Oi’s signature sound are on full display, lining up with his considered approach towards contemporary sound design.

The bouncy, playful synth details and robust low-end of each track keep the energy moving, as pounding kicks and interlocked percussion weave in, locking the listener into a journey of sonic discovery.

A fine balance of melody and rhythm, the ‘Yaffa’ EP is a showcase of Oi’s creative mindset – highlighting his influence from House and Techno while keeping the boundaries of his own artistry pushing forward, ensuring development in both his approach and the community of engaged listeners surrounding him.

Damian Lazarus Announces Day Zero Bali

An ancient frequency awakens in Bali, where the mountains meet the sea and sound becomes ceremony. It calls to those who listen closely, to those who move in rhythm with the unseen. From this convergence of earth and water, a new chapter of Damian Lazarus’ Day Zero emerges on April 17, 2026—an odyssey of ritual and sound, channeling the island’s magnetic energy into a shared journey toward the center of the universe.

Across the world, Day Zero traces a constellation of gatherings—each one shaped by the land it inhabits. From the jungles of Tulum, where its mythology was born from Mayan prophecy, to the shores of Brazil’s São Miguel dos Milagres, where culture and coastline move as one, every edition reflects its surroundings in form and feeling.

With Bali as the newest point in that constellation, Day Zero continues its celestial journey—linking distant worlds through a shared pursuit of transformation and transcendence.

Two years in the making, Day Zero Bali stands as the culmination of a global search for a place that felt destined—a journey guided by the commonly held belief that Bali is the spiritual and cosmic center of the universe, where Day Zero has discovered the perfect setting for its sacred gathering.

Long regarded as a land of balance and transformation, Bali carries the same pulse that first awakened in Tulum—the birthplace of Day Zero’s mythology—while inviting the vision to evolve into new dimensions. Bali becomes the vessel for that evolution—a living stage where Day Zero can continue its dialogue between earth and the ethereal.

Day Zero Bali
Day Zero Bali 2026

Bali moves with quiet intent—alive with pattern, craft, and unseen structure. Creation feels effortless, the landscape unfolding with purpose, shaped by balance rather than boundary. Everything seems to draw inward, as if the island were built around an invisible centre—a living axis where the elements hold one another in equilibrium. For Day Zero, that sense of order becomes continuity, the next evolution in its journey toward the centre of the universe.

Led by the curatorial prowess of Damian Lazarus, whose imprint Crosstown Rebels has been one of clubland’s most influential trailblazing forces for over two decades, Day Zero has always lived at the limits of sound.

Its stages gather artists who operate in the unknown, bending genre and expectation to create moments that feel both intimate and immense. In Bali, that spirit meets a creative community in motion—producers, DJs, and spaces that echo the island’s sense of precision and openness.

Crosstown Rebels have partnered with the Savaya Group, whose dedication to electronic music is unparalleled in Asia. Rooted in the meaning of “sacred journey,” Savaya Group has become a cornerstone of Bali’s cultural evolution. From the cliffs of Uluwatu to destinations such as Desa Kitsuné and Inaré, it continues to bridge music, design, and spirit—celebrating the island’s creative pulse while honoring its sacred origins.

Beneath Bali’s star-strewn sky, every dance becomes a meditation, every sound a signal, every moment a journey inward. This is not merely an event—it is a return to the source.
