Claude VonStroke makes long-awaited Crosstown Rebels debut with ‘Noche Clara’ EP

Claude VonStroke

Two decades after label founder Damian Lazarus first booked him to play in the UK, American electronic icon Claude VonStroke finally lands on Crosstown Rebels with the Noche Clara EP – a release that bridges friendship, history, and the enduring spirit of the global underground.

Built around hazy tones, captivating synth melodies, and sweeping atmospherics, the title track, “Noche Clara,” captures the playful minimalism and late-night atmosphere that defined his early work.

On the flip, “Bam Bam,” a collaboration with beatboxer, producer, DJ, and instrumentalist Honeycomb, layers warped vocals over trippy off-kilter sonics and a tunneling, hypnotic groove – providing a haunting and commanding deep dive into the late-night hours.

Here’s what VonStroke had to say about the release:

“I promised Damian I would make a Crosstown Rebels release over ten years ago, and it’s finally happened. He was one of the first people to ever book me in the UK twenty years ago.

He’s come to play my festival, remixed one of my biggest tracks, and I’m somewhat obsessed with Lazpod.

This release is a throwback and a new beginning at the same time.”

A true maverick of modern dance music, Claude VonStroke has spent over two decades shaping the sound and culture of house. From founding the iconic Dirtybird label — home to artists like Fisher, Eats Everything, and Catz ‘n Dogz — to headlining the world’s most respected clubs and festivals, his legacy is built on connection, humor, and an unfiltered love of the dancefloor.

Now exploring more underground and experimental sounds, VonStroke is entering a new creative chapter ahead of his forthcoming artist album in early 2026 – a shift perfectly exemplified by this impressive debut on Crosstown.

Speaking about the EP, Claude Vonstroke added:

“My wife and I were in Europe last summer on Lake Annecy and the idea for the A-side ‘Noche Clara’ came to me while we strolled along the lakeside under the French Alps, staring up at the big open sky.

The B-side is kind of a wacky A&R tale where Honeycomb and I played the same private party in the desert and I heard a specific loop during his set (his sets are created from scratch live).

I asked him afterwards if he recorded the set and could send me the parts to that one specific loop at a specific timestamp. He found it and we made the entire Bam Bam track from that tiny little section that just grooved exactly right.

This whole release is a throwback and a new beginning at the same time. I love minimal house from the early 2000s. My first record was a fun minimal record called ‘Deep Throat’ and my favorite label is Playhouse (now defunct). I’m headed back in this direction and this two-tracker really fits the bill – with maybe a little bit more modern production than those days.”

Symphony of Unity reimagines the all-time dance classic ‘Insomnia’ by Faithless

Symphony of Unity

Symphony of Unity reimagines the all-time dance classic ‘Insomnia’ by Faithless in a way like nothing heard before. Honoring its 30th anniversary, this orchestral rework tantalizes the senses and evokes goosebumps with its soaring intensity. Symphony of Unity unveils the track anew through a magical fusion of symphonic grandeur and electronic energy.

Faithless‘ ‘Insomnia‘, released in 1995, quickly became a defining anthem of the mid-’90s club scene. The track climbed to No. 3 on the UK Singles Chart, topped the UK Dance Chart, and conquered national charts across Europe, cementing its place as a timeless electronic classic.

Now, three decades later, ‘Insomnia‘ returns reimagined on a majestic orchestral scale. The genre-blending ensemble Symphony of Unity transforms the iconic electronic anthem into a cinematic experience, fusing classical orchestra with the youth of electronic music. The release reawakens ‘Insomnia‘ for a new generation while honoring its enduring legacy.

Here’s what Kevin Houben – conductor had to say:

“Insomnia has been in the set since our very first show 10 years ago, so we’ve been very eager to release this version. The orchestration bundles all emotions, styles and rhythmic pulses of this classic – with that iconic silence before the drop. An absolute pinnacle for Symphony of Unity.”

Premiered during Symphony of Unity‘s live performances – including Tomorrowland, the UNITY shows at Sphere (Las Vegas, US), and a sold-out debut at Antwerp Expo (Belgium) – the orchestral rework of ‘Insomnia‘ has already mesmerized audiences from festival stages to concert halls across the globe.

“This year we pushed boundaries both musically and show-wise. Many highlights, such as the 9 ‘Unity’ shows at Sphere in Las Vegas, ‘Freedom stage’ at Tomorrowland, the release of our debut single ‘Reload’, and our very first hard ticket shows that we sold out made this year a resounding success.

We were able to bring so many people together again with EDM and an orchestra. That’s a tremendous rush!”Lars van den Oever – percussionist

Following Symphony of Unity‘s debut on Tomorrowland Music with a symphonic reinterpretation of the iconic dance anthem ‘Reload‘ by Sebastian Ingrosso & Tommy Trash, this latest release signals that the journey is far from over.

“After some intensive recording sessions last year our first single ‘Reload’ appeared in November. Now, with the release of ‘Insomnia,’ we’re taking the next step in this journey: our first album will come out in 2026. A very unique and deep collaboration of the whole team, from label to studio, truly brought this project to life.” Kevin Houben

Luciano unveils his latest project, ALIVE

Luciano

Electronic music visionary Luciano, founder of the legendary Cadenza Music, unveils his latest project, ALIVE – a live show unlike any concept seen before. Making its world premiere during Art Basel in Miami on 5th December, ALIVE transforms the stage into a living, breathing organism where sound, light, visuals, and human energy collide in real time.

Born from a deep exploration of Luciano’s own musical archives, the show distills three decades of creations, inspirations, and unreleased material into a single performance – the most complete expression of his timeless sound to date.

Enabling Luciano to showcase his artistry in its purest form through fully live composition and spontaneous improvisation, the Swiss-Chilean icon partners with Zamna for an evening that pushes boundaries between performance and celebration. More than a show, ALIVE invites an all-encompassing sensory journey designed to be felt as much as heard.

Here’s what Luciano had to say:

“Since I can remember, sound has been my compass guiding me through life’s chaos and beauty. From the hum of old amplifiers to the first sunrise over a dancefloor, I’ve always believed that music isn’t something we just hear, it’s something we feel, something that moves through us and connects us to each other.

ALIVE was born from that belief, a dream to turn sound into light, rhythm into motion, and energy into something truly human. A moment where machines breathe, lights dance, and every beat becomes a heartbeat shared between us.

Together with Zamna, I’m honored to bring this vision to life for the first time in Miami, on December 5th, during Art Basel – a place where creativity, culture, and connection come alive in their purest form.

Each performance will be unique, improvised, and unpredictable. Alive in every sense. This is not just a show. It’s a conversation between spirit, technology, and sound. It’s a celebration of what it means to create, to connect, to live.

This project pushed me into a new space, a fully live show where everything happens in the moment. No playback, no presets, just my music, released and unreleased, reworked freely on stage. Building this with my team has been an incredible journey, and it marks a new chapter for me.”

Luciano Alive
Luciano Alive

ALIVE is the result of four years of meticulous development, conceived during the isolation of COVID and now realised through a custom-built rig by Gravity Rigs. Every element, from live composition to visuals, lighting, and guest performers, is designed to be fully improvisational, creating a unique experience for every audience.

Hundreds of audio channels allow live performers, vocalists, and instrumentalists to exist alongside Luciano’s production, while visuals and kinetic stage elements respond organically to the music. The result is a show that feels alive, unpredictable, and entirely human.

The project represents a new frontier in electronic performance, blending cutting-edge engineering, musicality, and artistry. Luciano’s longtime collaborators – including Jamie Harley (Aphex Twin, Flying Lotus), Dave Ross (Royksopp, Mind Against), and Matt Cox (Chemical Brothers), alongside visual innovators Positronic + Will Burton (Move Visuals) – have built a show where spontaneity, precision, and imagination intersect.

Meanwhile, partnerships with L Acoustics, Pioneer, Ableton, Native Instruments, and Novation further ensure the performance sits at the forefront of technological and sonic innovation.

As ALIVE debuts at Art Basel, it stands as a moment where music, art, and technology converge – an encounter designed to resonate long after the physical experience ends.
