Miami Music Week is a cornerstone event in the Electronic music world, bringing together artists, industry leaders, and Dance music fans for a week of non-stop music and connection.

For Fresh Powder, this year’s MMW holds extra significance, it marks a major milestone in their journey, as they step into the scene with a packed schedule of performances across some of Miami’s most iconic venues.

With sets lined up at E11EVEN, The Clevelander, Mode, and even their own Fresh Powder & Friends Yacht Party, the duo is ready to bring their sound to a diverse range of settings. ‘

We caught up with Stellar and Silent Reign to talk about their MMW plans, the energy of the city, and what’s next for Fresh Powder after this massive week.

Hi Fresh Powder, how are you doing?

What up! we’re doing great!

Miami Music Week is one of the biggest events in Electronic Dance music. What does it mean for Fresh Powder to be a part of it this year?

It means everything! Being that we just launched this project in September and to have this kind of presence at our first MMW means the world. Super grateful.

You’ve got a packed schedule for MMW, can you give us a rundown of where fans can catch you performing?

Every venue has its own unique vibe, how do you approach crafting your sets for different spaces during MMW?

We honestly just read the room and the vibes. Whether it’s vibing it out on a rooftop during sunset or going hard at afters, we’re locked and loaded!

Beyond performing, MMW is also a huge networking and industry event; are there any artists, labels, or events you’re especially looking forward to connecting with?

Definitely! We can’t wait to chop it up with people from all walks of life in the music industry. And it’s always good to connect with friends/mentors from all over, talk shop, and get genuine feedback and or share ideas.

Miami Music Week is known for unexpected moments and collaborations, do you have anything special planned, maybe surprise guests, B2Bs, or exclusive track debuts?

Absolutely! Our Fresh Powder & Friends yacht party will be unforgettable. Playing the Unlearn party at Mode will be epic as well, such an amazing group of people and artists.

With so many shows lined up, how do you prepare mentally and physically to keep the energy up throughout the week?

We’ve put together a pretty strict itinerary to help us stay focused amidst all the calamity. We really wanna take advantage of networking and getting our brand presence in front of as many people as possible. There will be a few IV drips booked for sure though! HAHA #stayfresh

Are there any new tracks or projects you’ll be testing out during MMW? Can fans expect any sneak peeks at upcoming releases?

Most definitely! We’re beyond excited to drop a lot of upcoming releases, MYCELIUM LIFE, WHISPERS, DAILY ROUTINE VIP, TAKE IT EASY, and CHIHIRO to name a few!

Outside of your own shows, are there any MMW events or artists you’re excited to see while you’re in town?

Ohhh man, definitely find us at SPACE, M2 and Factory Town to catch some of our favorite artists.

After MMW wraps up, what’s next for Fresh Powder? Any upcoming releases, tours, or festival appearances fans should look out for?

For sure! Stoked for our releases set to go out, launching our residencies in SLC, Vegas, Miami, and LA… and as for festivals; STAY TUNED, FP is coming for it all!

As Fresh Powder gears up for their first Miami Music Week with a stacked lineup of performances, this is only the beginning of what’s shaping up to be a major year for the duo. Beyond the sets, MMW is about connection, growth, and pushing their sound to new audiences, something the duo is fully embracing.

With new releases on the horizon, upcoming residencies, and festival plans in the works, Fresh Powder is carrying the momentum from Miami forward. Tomorrowland and CALIVERSE have joined forces to bring music lovers a groundbreaking experience that transcends the boundaries of traditional entertainment. The Tomorrowland Planet is the heart of this collaboration, offering fans a unique space where they can unlock exclusive DJ performances.

Carlita Announces ‘fabric presents’ Mix and Shares New Track “Raf”

fabric Records has enlisted Turkish-Italian DJ and producer Carlita for the next installment of its prestigious mix compilation series, fabric presents. Set for full release on April 11, fabric presents Carlita will showcase her meticulous curation, featuring two new original tracks. The announcement arrives alongside the release of the first single, “Raf,” a collaboration with Toronto producer Andre Zimmer, out now via fabric Records.

“Raf” is a high-energy fusion of classic house and rave influences, crafted with the dancefloor in mind. The track pairs infectious, soulful vocal elements with punchy synth stabs and rolling breakbeats, all anchored by a deep, groovy tech-house bassline.

“Raf,” along with an additional original from Carlita, “Stop Now,” is nestled among storied house and techno juggernauts such as Butch, Alex Metric, and Paco Osuna, as well as rising underground producers Prunk, Toman, Alinka, and more.

Beyond the club and festival circuit, Carlita is a leading figure at the intersection of music and fashion. She’s been featured in British Vogue and on the cover of Vogue Italia, performed at exclusive events for Louis Vuitton, Versace, and Fendi, and curated performances featuring The Blessed Madonna and Heron Preston at her own multi-sensory Senza Fine parties. Most recently, she collaborated with Audemars Piguet to mark the release of her debut album, Sentimental.

Carlita (real name Carla Frayman) comes from a background of musical mastery, having played classical cello for the Royal Academy of Music in London in her earlier years (after learning to play piano at age 3). Since her earliest memories, Frayman has never stopped developing her musical talent, picking up more instruments, learning music theory, and after university, saving up enough money to pursue it full time.

She hasn’t stopped chasing her dreams and is now playing high-profile DJ slots, and has quickly risen as a producer with her phenomenal debut album Sentimental on Ninja Tune last year, as well as remixes for Disclosure and RÜFÜS DU SOL.

Coming up, Carlita be performing at festivals and clubs in Puerto Rico, Switzerland, Germany, and many more. On April 12, celebrating her fabric presents release, Carlita will be taking over Room 2 at fabric alongside Jennifer Loveless, Tommy Gold, and Pedrose.

Armin van Buuren Releases Long-Awaited Collab with Bon Jovi: ‘Keep The Faith’

Armin van Buuren has experienced countless unforgettable moments throughout his storied career, but few compare to when legendary American rockstar Jon Bon Jovi joined him on stage at Ultra Music Festival in 2024 to unveil an unreleased rework of Bon Jovi’s ‘Keep The Faith’. Now, the track is finally here, revealing an unexpected yet electrifying crossover between two legends in their field.

The collaboration began when Armin van Buuren pitched the idea of merging his signature trance output with Bon Jovi‘s classic rock sound, resulting in a high-energy fusion of their distinct and globally recognized styles.

Band frontman Jon Bon Jovi may not have come from the dance music world, but Armin‘s reinterpretation struck a chord with him instantly. Ultimately, he loved the track so much that when the Dutch legend invited him to join him on the main stage at Ultra Music Festival, one of electronic dance music’s most premier festivals, he didn’t hesitate — delivering one of the weekend’s most unforgettable moments and a surprise for the ages.

“Reworking this track was an incredible honor on its own, but having Jon Bon Jovi join me on stage at Ultra was a once-in-a-lifetime moment,” says Armin van Buuren.

“Rock music has always inspired me, and I’ve been a Bon Jovi fan for ages, so this was truly special. I’m thrilled the track is finally out in the world, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.”
