Adam Beyer unveils another track from his upcoming album ‘Taking Back Control’

With Adam Beyer’s new studio album, Explorer Vol. 1 only weeks away, now he drops another new track, the blistering Taking Back Control, out via Drumcode.

Having consistently pushed the boundaries of techno in his own 30+ years of releases it’s time for a new era for Adam Beyer and his music. A culmination of his whole past creative journey, Adam has taken inspiration from everything he’s learnt and poured it into the new record.

Still hungry to explore different sounds and new genres Explorer Vol.1 reflects permutations of Adam‘s headspace and who he is, celebrating his personal interests and influences including in sci-fi, both musically and visually.

One of reoccurring themes throughout the record is that of reclaiming control over music, creativity and the self; found in its most literal sense with new track Taking Back Control – a hypnotic banger with a driving, addictive refrain.

Sure to dominate airwaves and dancefloors this summer, Taking Back Control is a real statement of intent, this is Adam Beyer at his best, showcasing a confidence that only comes from 30 years at the top of his game.

The excitement and anticipation surrounding Explorer Vol.1 is palpable. Following the LP’s eponymous first single Explorer, highlights have included a 12,000 person Drumcode party at London’s Drumsheds, a wild Drumcode Pop up event at an off license in South London, while Beyer featured on two billboards in Leicester Square and Stratford to celebrate the album announcement.

The fact that this album is only Volume 1 suggests there is a lot more to come creatively from Adam over the coming years. Plus 2026 is the year of DC30, aka 30 years of Drumcode with intensive celebrations and special releases planned to mark a huge milestone in one of electronic music’s most renowned and long running labels.

For an artist as respected and established as Adam, some might expect him to start taking it easy after 30 years at the top but it’s quite the opposite, it seems like he’s just getting started…

Solid Grooves announces Ibiza lineup and dates for 2025 season at DC10

Solid Grooves has unveiled its full Ibiza lineup ahead of the forthcoming 2025 season, with the globally respected collective, label, and event series returning to DC10 for its fourth consecutive summer. Running every Thursday from 5th June to 2nd October, spanning 18 weeks, the season continues the evolution of the ‘Casino Motel’ concept — this time reimagined as ‘Enter The Dragon’, coinciding with the Chinese Zodiac’s Year of the Dragon.

This year’s edition once again brings a carefully curated mix of new talent, established selectors, and close friends of the brand. Michael Bibi and PAWSA return alongside core family members and SG favourites such as Dennis Cruz, ANOTR, Ben Sterling, Beltran, Carlita, KinAhau, Reelow, Rossi. and Silvie Loto, while welcoming a host of exciting new faces to make their Solid Grooves Ibiza debut.

Among the most anticipated additions are Bonobo, who will land on the White Isle for a special DJ Set appearance, Apollonia, Carista, Fumiya Tanaka, Coast 2 Coast (Gene On Earth and The Ghost), and Brazilian breakout star MAZ, all making their Solid Grooves Ibiza debut. They’ll be joined by fellow first-timers Paramida, Demi Requisimo, JAMIIE, and LaLa, bringing fresh energy to the fore across the season.
