Armin van Buuren to Launch Ushuaïa Ibiza Residency With 6-hr Open-to-Close Set

Global dance music icon Armin van Buuren will launch his 2025 Ushuaïa Ibiza residency with something truly special: a rare 6-hour open to close set on Sunday, June 8. Known for delivering tightly crafted performances across the world’s biggest stages, Armin will take full control of the night from 05.00 PM – 11.00 PM offering fans a deep, immersive journey through his sound – from first beat to last. The extended set is a long-standing request from fans, making this night even more anticipated.

Known for his explosive festival sets and world-class production, Armin is taking things to the next level, curating an extended musical journey that spans his classics, fresh new sounds, and hidden gems.

“I don’t do open-to-close sets often,” Armin van Buuren says, “but when I do, it’s because the moment calls for it. Ushuaïa Ibiza is one of the most iconic venues in the world, and Ibiza holds a special place in my heart. Kicking off the summer with an extended solo set there feels like the perfect way to begin the season.”

The residency will run across nine dates, with shows every Sunday from June 8 to July 6, and returning for a second run from September 7 to September 28. Each week will showcase an exciting lineup of standout artists and longtime collaborators.

This year’s guests have just been announced, including, Cosmic Gate, D.O.D, Lilly Palmer, Marlon Hoffstadt, Massano, Oliver Heldens, Vini Vici and many more, delivering a dynamic blend of trance, progressive, and mainstage energy to Ushuaïa Ibiza‘s legendary stage and its dance music lovers from around the globe. Charlotte De Witte Announces Debut Album with First Track “The Realm”

Charlotte de Witte releases the first track, “The Realm,” from her desperately awaited eponymous debut album, which comes out on November 7th, on her own imprint KNTXT. Besides the new music, she will be coming to New York from May 21st to May 24th – details to follow.

After fifteen years of performances, techno charts and innovative success and a stunning amount of 25 acclaimed EPs, fans of the Belgian artist/producer can finally enjoy the first taste of the LP with the release of the opening track & acid-drenched, unstoppable lead single “The Realm“, already a staple in her sets, often as a high-impact opener.

“The Realm” is beautifully muscled and put together, skillfully controlled, swift and powerful like a thoroughbred racehorse. The tightly woven techno beats and acid-spiked synth you can feel in your teeth usher in anthemic spoken lyrics packed with promise – “enter the realm of the unknown”.

“The Realm” is a really special track for me. It marks the beginning of a whole new chapter. It’s the first single from my debut album, and it carries the energy and philosophy that inspired the entire record.

Gradually, it opens up into a wide musical sunrise, as Trikk demonstrates his sure instinct once more—balancing warmth with his distinctive style.

The project took off with ‘Rigor’, a peak-time statement that paired massive, tactile sound design with surprising moments of piano serenity—setting the stage for both bold and nuanced. ‘Luxo’ followed, weaving together industrial grit and organic warmth, further expanding Trikk’s musical language.

UNTOLD Festival Reveals New Names for Its 10th Anniversary Edition: X

This summer, UNTOLD Festival celebrates 10 years of magic, music, love, friendship, and diversity. One of the world’s biggest festivals and a true gem of Romania, UNTOLD will welcome hundreds of thousands of fans from around the globe to the beautiful city of Cluj-Napoca from August 7 to 10. Across seven stages and numerous music spots, 200 local and international artists will bring the magic to life.

New additions to the secondary stage lineup include world-renowned artists such as Ben Böhmer, Jan Blomqvist, Röyksopp, Wilkinson, Green Velvet, Pachanga Boys, Sébastien Léger, and more.

Previously announced superstar DJs and producers for the breathtaking mainstage are Anyma, Armin van Buuren, Martin Garrix with an UNTOLD Special Set, FISHER, Tiësto Extended Set, Alok, Don Diablo Extended Set, Steve Angello, Hugel, and the live acts Post Malone, Metro Boomin, Becky Hill and Rag’N’Bone Man.

The Galaxy stage, the only indoor stage and UNTOLD‘s house and techno home, will host Adriatique, Black Coffee, Dom Dolla, Green Velvet, Marco Carola, Sara Bluma, Nusha, Mahony, and the ro-minimal tech creators A:RPIA:R, Arapu, Cezar, Priku, Sit, and more. New names will be announced in the coming weeks.

The full lineup for “X“, the 10th anniversary of UNTOLD Festival will be revealed soon. Fans will feel the pure magic of artists and enjoy lots of activities such as a flying simulator, VR games, boats on the lake in Central Park, a Fashion Village with over 30 Romanian designers, a permanent tattoo studio, and a Food Festival with more than 40 vendors offering a diversity of tastes from Romanian cuisine to Asian, Hungarian, Italian, Indian, and more, including food for veggies.

Over 60,000 people already secured their passes for the celebration of UNTOLD. Tickets are available on the official website, including backstage tours to visit the festival. Fans who want to explore UNTOLD from a new perspective can choose from two types of tours: the Discovery Tour, a captivating 60-minute journey behind the scenes of the festival, and the Insider Tour, an extended 100-minute experience offering visitors the chance to discover special areas of the festival grounds.

The magical realm of UNTOLD will open from August 7-10, from 4 PM to 7 AM each morning, in the heart of Transylvania, in the beautiful city of Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

Adam Beyer presents his new track The Distance Between Us

Having already closed huge sets like Ultra and Drumsheds with it, The Distance Between Us is probably the most unexpected track on the upcoming new album; laser-kissed with new wave synth lines which deftly contrasts last week’s Hypnotic’s future-facing ethos.

Here’s what Adam had to say about the release:

“The Distance Between Us is my take on indie-electronic. Arpeggiators, synths, 80s melodies, big hooks. Still not sure where it came from creatively, but I love it.”

The excitement surrounding Beyer‘s first album in over 20 years is palpable. Following the LP’s eponymous first single, Explorer which dropped last month, highlights have included the 12,000 person Drumcode party at Drumsheds, a wild Drumcode Pop up event at an off license in London, while Beyer featured on two billboards in Leicester Square and Stratford to celebrate the album announcement.

Now comes 2 new tracks; Last week saw the release of Hypnotic, a collaboration with Toronto producer HNTR, responsible for the viral techno hit ‘Yes B!itch‘ with Danny Avila, and his remix of Cloonee‘s “Stephanie“, which both became Beatport no.1 records. Hypnotic delivers in spades, a massive vibe-bringer that rolls with crunchy percussion and seductive vocal lines.

“Originally a tech house idea, but I sent it to HNTR, one of the new talents in the Drumcode family, and he turned it into something bigger and bolder. Classic meets future. He’s someone to watch, and it was great to collaborate with him” – Adam Beyer.

Cassian Drops New Single “SOS” on John Summit’s Experts Only Label

GRAMMY-winning producer, DJ, and mixing engineer Cassian releases his newest single, “SOS.” The track serves as his debut on John Summit’s Experts Only label, home to house and techno superstars like Green Velvet, Max Styler, and Kevin De Vries.

Cassian deploys his signature knack for maximum impact on “SOS,” stirring up a wave of suspense with a dramatic build-up and kinetic vocal sample before dropping into a syncopated bass line that drives the track forward with pulsing urgency.

Speaking about the track Cassian said:

“Someone told me I look like the Easter Island statues, so at the start of the year, I went on a trip to check them out in the flesh. When I arrived, they started singing this song to me. I quickly recorded it and then was immediately possessed by a spirit who sampled it and produced it into ‘SOS’. So I guess it was a spiritual ghost producer.”

The new single picks up right where Cassian left off with a string of massive, peak-time dancefloor weapons, following “Where I’m From” with SCRIPT and Belladonna, as well as the fan-favorite “Dun Dun” on Afterlife.

“SOS” arrives amid Cassian’s North American tour, which will conclude with an all-night-long set for Teksupport at a New York City warehouse. He’s also set to debut at Tomorrowland‘s main stage this summer.

The release follows his performance at the Las Vegas Sphere for Anyma‘s End of Genesys shows, a residency in which Cassian served as Music Director, working closely with Anyma and overseeing the entire audio experience.

Wehbba, the acclaimed electronic music producer and founder of HIFN, is set to launch Studio Dump, a boundary-pushing album project that redefines the traditional album structure.

Starting now, with the release of the first two tracks, “RENN” and “EXIT TIME,” Studio Dump will unfold over several weeks, offering an unfiltered, in-the-moment body of work that pushes the limits of music creation in the digital age. The full album will culminate with its release on May 30, 2025.

Each track in Studio Dump exists to serve a specific moment — some may disrupt a DJ set, others might reset the entire energy of a room, but none are made to fit into pre-existing moulds.

The project is less about presenting a finished product and more about offering a direct window into the act of creation itself. The tracks are released on Wehbba’s terms, without hesitation or delay, capturing the chaotic artistry of their moment of inception.
