Featuring remixes courtesy of Jersey, Laurence Guy, Paranoid London – as well as a Justice remix and the original track, the EP is out now via Ed Banger Records / Because Music.

Taken from Justice‘s highly-acclaimed album ‘Hyperdrama‘, ‘Afterimage‘ – with RIMON‘s vocals – quickly became one of the favorites on the record, and is a standout moment in their spellbinding live shows too.

Of the song, Ed Banger Records label boss Pedro Winter says:

“I discovered RIMON a couple of years ago on COLORS where she performed her song ‘Build Me A House’. Her voice and flow instantly caught my attention. Justice were in the studio looking for a singer to take an instrumental track to another level. They invited RIMON to their Paris studio for a session. Sometimes magic happens at first sight, this is the story of ‘Afterimage’.”

Also available today is the official video for ‘Afterimage‘. The video features Justice and RIMON themselves.

Jengi drops euphoric summer track ‘Closer’ on Tomorrowland Music

Dutch DJ and producer Jengi is turning up the heat just in time for summer with the release of his sizzling new single ‘Closer’, released on Tomorrowland Music.

With his newest track, Jengi takes a bold step back into the playful energy that first shaped his love for dance music. Building on his signature formula of chopped vocal samples, groovy basslines, and vibrant synth work, ‘Closer‘ shows Jengi evolving while still staying true to the spirit of his earlier productions.

After exploring 90s-inspired territory on Take U, this new release steers away from nostalgic predictability. Instead, Jengi draws inspiration from the sounds that shaped his musical upbringing—particularly the quirky and innovative electronic styles of Dutch producer Bas Bron (aka Fatima Yamaha). These local influences breathe a fresh yet familiar life into the track.

Closer‘ marks his third release on Tomorrowland Music, following ‘Take U‘ and Things We Do‘ (a crowd-pleasing collaboration with The Magician).

Jengi Closer
Jengi – Closer

Here’s what Jengi had to say about the release:

“The production plays with dynamics: a stripped-back first drop led only by drums and a funky bassline, gradually building into a more expansive and euphoric second drop. When the synth stabs hit, the track fully opens up – mirroring the transformation shown in the accompanying music video, where a stiff party turns wild once the second drop hits.”

It might just be a metaphor for Jengi himself – someone who watches carefully before diving in, but once he does, there’s no holding back.
