Enrico Sangiuliano Releases ‘Interconnection’ EP via His NINETOZERO Imprint

Influential Italian techno artist Enrico Sangiuliano returns with new single ‘Interconnection’. Arriving digitally on August 30th via his NINETOZERO label, the new single is packaged up with previous single ‘Can U Feel It’ to complete the Interconnection EP, which will come on vinyl later in the year.

“The upcoming release is about the ‘Interconnection’ between different senses, for example sound and touch: when sound becomes vibration our perception enhances,” says Enrico.

“The track creates a metaphor of the concept using a voice and a synthesizer that playfully evolve and merge into each other to become one, while still keeping their distinctive identities. ‘Interconnection’ is a track made for the dancefloor, a place where all our senses come together and go beyond the auditory experience, becoming a multisensory experience where we’re all… interconnected.”

As a producer Enrico Sangiuliano has done it all, from remixes of classics to chart topping techno tracks that range from deep and dark to more melodic and euphoric. His creativity knows no bounds and after ‘Can U Feel It‘ explored the connection between auditory perception and physical sensations with fresh and emotive rave sounds, this new sound impresses once more.

The brilliant ‘Interconnection‘ is a pulsating cut that locks dancers into the hypnotic drums as flashes of acid synths spray about up top. Edgy vocal stabs add to the pressure as trance-infused pads change shape through various filters.

They range from smooth and smudged to sawtooth and make the trip all the more dynamic. Each element has plenty of room to breath and make its mark and a spine-tingling breakdown offers a moment to set before the groove kicks in and oscillating pads take dancers to the next level.

Enrico Sangiuliano‘s Interconnection EP is another essential work from this revered talent.

To celebrate the EP release, Enrico Sangiuliano will play an all-night long set at Village Underground in London on 7th September. Tickets are available here.

KASIA releases brand-new single ‘Jungle’ with Emma Louise on Sony Music

Rising melodic techno DJ and Producer KASIA and platinum-selling artist Emma Louise have created the perfect match, unveiling a masterpiece to the world. The Polish DJ/producer and Australian indie pop singer-songwriter have joined forces to release their brand new single, ‘Jungle,’ through Sony Music

The famous track now features happy synth melodies, blending techno energy with heartfelt emotions, and will play in everyone’s mind with “My Head Is A Jungle” on repeat.

KASIA has already tested fans with “Jungle” (“My Head Is A Jungle”) a few times. She closed her Tomorrowland set with this perfect song; since then, she has played it in every show. Besides fans, the track already has the support of multiple worldwide melodic techno artists.

KASIA, Emma Louise – Jungle

Here’s what KASIA had to say about the release:

“Do you ever wake up with a song playing on repeat in your head, and no matter what you do, it just stays stuck there? This is my story with “Jungle.” Since its release in 2011, I fell in love with the lyrics and couldn’t stop singing it. Early in my DJing career, I made a remix of “Jungle” and played it frequently during my sets.

This year, I got hold of the original vocals and began crafting uplifting melodies around them. The crowd’s reaction has always been overwhelmingly positive. I’m thrilled that Emma and Sony Music loved the version as much as I do, and now I get to share it with the world. Enjoy it!”

KASIA’s compositions are a legacy of the metamorphic power of sound. Each track is a pilgrimage, guiding music lovers through cathartic highs and contemplative lows that go through human emotions and feelings.

The collaboration between KASIA and Emma Louise came naturally, and “Jungle” is for sure one of the tracks of the year and future.

Currently, KASIA is on a worldwide tour, playing at some of the biggest festivals and clubs, delivering her unique sets blending melancholy of melodic techno with energetic sounds. She has already played at Tomorrowland, on Ibiza with Afterlife, Ultra Europe, Sunrise Festival, and more this summer.

Recently, she released the powerful “Chronix” in collaboration with BINARYH under Zamna Records and “Drowning” with Armada Music. At the same time, Emma is set to release her third album, ‘Lilac Everything‘, produced by Tobias Jesso Jr. and mixed by Grammy and Juno Award winner Shawn Everett.

The first single, ‘Wish You Well,’ introduces the world to the artist’s bold new artistic statement—pitched down vocals throughout the record.

Audio Obscura makes a stunning festival debut

On August 24, 2024, the Van Nelle Fabriek was transformed into a breathtaking festival venue as Audio Obscura and this iconic Rotterdam landmark came together to create an unforgettable musical experience. International DJs and local talent curated a vibrant summer soundscape, guiding 12.500 festival-goers on a captivating day of music.

The very first edition of the Audio Obscura Festival was nothing short of a sensational success, thanks to a perfect mix of contemporary art and cultural heritage. The festival presented an impressive lineup featuring big names such as Adriatique, Partiboi69, Chris Stussy, The Martinez Brothers, and many more.

Moreover, the festival marked a notable first for both Audio Obscura and the historic Van Nelle Fabriek, which opened its doors for the very first time as an impressive event venue with both outdoor and indoor stages.

The Audio Obscura Festival put the Van Nelle Fabriek on the map as a Rotterdam festival location, with a mix of international headliners and local talent. With names like Dixon, Carlita, and AMÉMÉ, the festival delivered a world-class lineup, while Rotterdam icons like Benny Rodrigues, Cincity, Moody Mehran, and Suze Ijó ensured strong local representation. The spectacular performances created an atmosphere that made the temperature rise early in the day, that even some rain throughout the day couldn’t extinguish.

The Van Nelle Fabriek, originally a production site for coffee, tea, and tobacco, has grown into an architectural icon and UNESCO World Heritage Site. This unique location, where past and future come together, offers bright and flexible spaces, which welcomed thousands of festival-goers last Saturday.

It’s no surprise that Audio Obscura, always on the lookout for special locations and new talent worldwide, has once again pushed the boundaries with their first foray into the world of festivals.

“We are very proud that we have been able to convert our many years of experience of organizing events at unique locations into our first festival at UNESCO World Heritage site the Van Nelle Fabriek in Rotterdam.

From the energetic and fun audience to the artists who all delivered, from the production and logistics that turned out as we had planned and from no calamities to all the crowds positive feedback. Hopefully we have built a foundation for years to come in Rotterdam.”Audio Obscura

The festival site offered a total of four stages with a mix of both indoor and outdoors: Under the Bridges, Tabaksfabriek, The Pit, and the Rotterdam stage. The Under the Bridges stage immediately caught the eye. Diagonal transport bridges, which normally connect the various buildings of the Van Nelle Fabriek, formed the symbolic heart of the Audio Obscura Festival.

The Rotterdam stage, hosted by Heineken Silver & Cloud 8, served as a stage for showcasing Dutch talent. Cloud 8, born in the legendary Rotterdam Suicide Club, created an open-minded atmosphere where creativity was central. Under the guidance of Cloud 8’s own Cincity, attendees embarked on a musical trip full of soulful afrobeats and Afro house.

At The Pit stage, fans could enjoy an energetic mix of dynamic techno and electro from artists like Dax J b2b Daria Kolosova, Lucky Done Gone b2b Moody Mehran, and Partiboi69. Additionally, Dixon and Adriatique brought their signature sound to the industrial setting of the Tabaksfabriek stage, where melodic tones and a unique visual experience came together.

Audio Obscura is known for bringing together unique talent at the most extraordinary locations, and with this first festival edition, they have once again outdone themselves. The Audio Obscura Festival has positioned itself as a new highlight on the Dutch festival calendar. Pre-registration for the 2025 edition is already open.

On October 17, 18, 19, and 20, Audio Obscura returns to the RAW Factory for three daytime events, two night events, and a 24-hour Innervisions with me and Dixon event. Visitors will be treated to the cutting-edge sounds of underground legends including The Martinez Brothers, Seth Troxler, Partiboi69, Maceo Plex, Honey Dijon, and more.
