Jonas Blue & Sam Feldt release new single ‘Rest Of My Life (feat. Sadie Rose Van)’

Prolific producers Jonas Blue and Sam Feldt have unveiled their new single ‘Rest Of My Life’ under their collaborative project Endless Summer.

Korolova teams up with MotherEarth for her first single of 2024, ‘Nightshapes’ ft. Tyoz

Ukrainian sensation Korolova has teamed up with Dutch DJ MotherEarth for her first single of 2024, ‘Nightshapes’ ft. Tyoz – out now via her Captive Soul label.

Already whipping crowds into a frenzy across the globe, ‘Nightshapes‘ has become a firm favorite in Korolova‘s recent sets. Commanding attention from the opening note, the dynamic duo pack in plucky progressions and bouncy bass, moving seamlessly between the melodic vocals of Tyoz and larger-than-life laser style synths to create a moment of pure dancefloor euphoria.

Above & Beyond and Zoë Johnston reunite with ‘Crazy Love’

The latest offering from GRAMMY-nominated artists Above & Beyond and Zoë Johnston is an uplifting and ethereal trance record, first debuted to 20,000 fans at the trio’s Group Therapy 500 celebration in Los Angeles in 2022. Road tested at Above & Beyond shows such as Red Rocks in Colorado, EDC Las Vegas, and Printworks in London, the track soon became a mainstay in their sets and a highly-sought after ID.

Last year, Above & Beyond achieved RIAA Gold certification on the track, ‘Don’t Leave’, from the 2019 ambient album ‘Flow State‘, and were the only British DJs to sell out two consecutive nights at Printworks as part of the iconic London venue’s closing season.

They also returned to Red Rocks Amphitheatre to helm two shows alongside label stars from Anjunabeats and Anjunadeep and made an appearance at Insomniac‘s Escape Halloween festival in California.

Above & Beyond and Zoë Johnston – Crazy Love

The trio’s last single, ‘Over Now’ with Seven Lions and Opposite The Other, achieved Top 30 status on the Billboard and Mediabase radio charts in the US and earned spins on Sirius XM BPM, iHeart Evolution radio and over 600 local stations worldwide.

Following the most prolific year of his production career, Adam Beyer starts 2024 right with another standout EP, Let’s Begin’, which takes influence from the ’90s Drumcode sound with a modern touch.

Looking backwards to go forwards, the three-track work kicks off with ‘Let’s Begin‘ and sees Beyer lean on faster tempos and rugged rhythms to craft a high octane, atmosphere heavy cut that hits you right between the eyes. An absolutely cracking peak-time tune that highlighted recent gigs at L56 in Ljubljana and Fairground Festival in Hannover.

‘Computerized‘ is a masterclass in dancefloor mentalism, bringing forth shades of hardcore influenced vocals and menacing synth lines reminiscent of early 2000s Frankfurt. No surprise this brought maximum vibes at Beyer‘s NYE gigs in the States at Teksupport and Insomniac‘s Countdown NYE event.

Adam Beyer – Let’s Begin

Fresh out of the studio, ‘Red Room‘ is a dreamy belter that takes in subtle hints of classic four-to-the-floor grooves reminiscent of UK hard dance, before an industrial synth section ramps up the intensity. Exhilarating stuff.

“This new three-tracker is on the rawer techno tip and is an ode to Drumcode’s earlier material. It’s a take on the ’90s sound blended with new modern elements. For this release I wanted to take the Adam Beyer techno sound from that period and bring it up-to-date.

It’s dirty with a new twist, direct and to the point. This project is not a statement, rather it’s a release that was inspired by the big techno shows I played in Europe this autumn like Awakenings, Mayday and Timewarp.”

Do LaB have announced the official lineup for North America’s original boutique festival, Lightning in a Bottle, taking place at Buena Vista Lake in Southern California during Memorial Day Weekend (May 22-27). The festival provides a living and breathing outpost for misfits, creatives, and experience hunters to experience an array of top-tier music curation, art installations, immersive environments, and educational programming.

The 2024 edition is all about returning to why the festival started in the first place – having as much fun as possible. The Lighting in a Bottle experience continues to be one of many facets and paths. It’s a festival defined as both a transformational wonderland and a wild party where freak flags fly. A place to learn and create, but also reconnect with one’s mischievous inner child, where surprises hide around every corner.

With the 2024 lineup, Lightning in a Bottle continues to build on its legacy of booking a diverse roster of artists across the worlds of dance music and beyond. Headliners for the upcoming edition kick off with three of the UK’s most iconic vocalists, featuring the moody croonings of James Blake, London producer and singer Labrinth, and the chart-topping M.I.A.

LIB continues to be a showcase of the who’s who of electronic music exploration. Headlining dance acts include the inimitable Skrillex, who took a storied career to new heights after a year that saw a double album release and several marquee festival appearances worldwide.

The lineup continues with a rare dubstep set from Skream and a sultry Club Set from Canadian duo Bob Moses. All shades of house and techno each add their own unique energy to the LIB24 bill. Honey Dijon will champion her originating Chicago house style, while one of experimental electronic’s prodigal sons Floating Points offers his renowned multi-genre performance.

This forward-thinking ethos is furthered by acts like Overmono and Tycho, while a special back-to-back performance by ANNA and Sama Abdulhadi fills out the harder hitting techno edge of the lineup. Scene favorites Nora En Pure, Justin Martin, Mura Masa and Of The Trees each bring their own unique and euphoric sounds to the fold.

Those seeking out the more off-kilter and unexpected sounds can look forward to performances from the electro-tropical Colombian band Bomba Estéreo, the indie pop stylings of Cannons, London-based jungle and drum and bass artist Nia Archives, and the rap meets pop blends of Qveen Herby. Additional lineup standouts include Barclay Crenshaw, Aluna, it’s murph, DJ Holographic, Machinedrum, and more.

LIB’s musical journey guides attendees from its wildly immersive core stages Lightning, Woogie, and Thunder, onwards to its community-run programming at The Stacks, The Junkyard, and The Grand Artique. Each stage features its own unique aesthetic, vision, and sound, balancing fan-favorite bookings with a constant sense of discovery.

The immersive Compass area offers a diverse array of educational opportunities to engage the senses, expand the mind, and inspire community action with topics that include indigenous cultures, psychedelic medicine, climate change, love & relationships, healthy eating, and more. Attendees can learn from the past and present in order to better integrate, collaborate, and thrive in our world’s future.

Justice Announce Their Brand New Album ‘Hyperdrama’

Justice have announced their brand new album ‘Hyperdrama’ will be released on 26th April 2024 via Ed Banger Records / Because Music. The album will be available digitally to stream/download as well as physically via CD, double black vinyl, limited edition double crystal clear vinyl and limited edition double picture disc vinyl.

Here’s what Justice had to say about their brand new single ‘One Night/All Night’ featuring Tame Impala‘:

“We wanted this track to sound as if a dark/techno iteration of Justice had found a sample of a disco iteration of Kevin Parker. Kevin has a sense of melody that’s fascinating in the sense that he manages to write melodies that feel both simple and natural, but very peculiar at the same time.

This song oscillates between pure electronic music and pure disco but you never really get the two at the same time. This very idea of switching instantly from a genre to another within a song runs through the whole record, and is maybe showcased the clearest in ‘One Night/All Night‘.

Justice – Hyperdrama

And of ‘Generator‘, the band add:

“To us, this one sounds like “Getaway” by the Salsoul Orchestra, but with gabber and classic 90s hardcore techno sounds. Disco/funk and electronic music at large have always been core elements of the music we make as Justice. In ‘Hyperdrama’, we make them coexist, but not in a peaceful way. We like this idea of making them fight a bit for attention.”

The official video for ‘One Night/All Night‘ starring Tame Impala is available to watch now. The arresting visual, produced by Phantasm and directed by Anton Tammi also reveals the artwork for the highly anticipated ‘Hyperdrama‘ album.

“I suggested to them that what if we dive in? What if their music video was a journey inside the cross?” states Tammi. “I dreamed of creating a piece like this. A strange and experimental object that looks like rave lighting inside human lungs and strobe light around a human heart.”
