Avicii
Tim Bergling , the Swedish DJ and producer better known as Avicii , says he will stop touring after 2016 .

He helped spearhead the EDM movement in the USA, breaking through in 2011 with his popular hit, ”Levels.” Along with scores of remixes, production work and guest appearances, Avicii notched many massive hits of his own, including ”Wake me up””You make me” and ”Hey brother”. He released two studio albums as well, 2013’s True and 2015’s Stories.

Avicii already has a slew of live dates lined up for the spring and summer, including residencies in Las Vegas and Ibiza. He we also play at Electronic Daisy Carnival UK in July and Creamfields, in August.

Hello world,

Thank you for letting me fulfil so many of my dreams. I will be forever grateful to have experienced and accomplished all that I have with the help of the team around me and my beloved fans. Thank you to all my peers in the business for building a new movement that took the world by storm and I was lucky enough to be in the middle of it. Thank you to all my partners through the years who believed in what I have created and wanted to amplify my work to a truly global presence.

First and foremost thank you to my brother and partner Ash, its truly been a crazy run and its only been possible through our collaborative efforts, yin and yang, brother to brother manager to artist. I will always appreciate this road with you no matter where it leads from here. I could write so much more but our journey is far from finished.

Thank you to everyone at At Night, a special thanks to everyone who has been a part of the team since day one and without your hard dedicated work I wouldn’t be here. Thank you especially to Carl Vernersson, Filip Holm, Marcus Lindgren, Victor Lee and Panos Ayassotelis.

Thank you to the teams of Johnny Tenander, Per Sundin, Max Hole, Neil Jacobson and Joakim Johansson in no particular order. Your loyalty and hard work on the label and publishing fronts have allowed me to always feel like we have had someone backing us in your court, and that has given me the musical confidence I’ve needed. Thank you.

Thank you Robb Harker, Malik Adunni, David Brady, Andrew Mckeough, Rob Woo and Felix Alfonzo – you helped introduce touring to me in as much of a functional way possible for a kid my age and my road could have been alot darker if it wasnt for your personal support at such a crucial point. Thank you Semi Baddredine for all your personal support, talks and help in me growing up. I have a weird feeling i could be dead If it wasn’t for you and I will always love and support you.

Thank you to Ciara Davy, Michael “Curly” Jobson and the MJM team, Harry Bird and Charlie Alves for making my touring years amazing during the best of times and durable during the worst. I hope we will find a way to keep on working together.

Thank you to all artists, musicians and songwriters who have helped me develop musically and personally, the list is long but there is no one I’ve worked with where I haven’t learnt something.

A huge thank you to all my friends in the industry. Thank you Jesse Waits at XS for having been such a huge friend to me and a rock in stormy waters. Also huge thanks in no particular order to Jonathan Schwartz, Austin Leeds, Pete Moutso, Dave Grutman, Noah Tepperberg, Jason Strauss, Sean Christie, Carlos Correal, Rob Fernandez, Eddie Dean, Adam Russakoff, Mike Satsky, Trecia Laird, Lisa Pillette, Marcella Barrett, Zoe Stainsby, Joe Bellioti, Yann and Romain Pissenem, John and Paul in Ibiza, Fricko, Sean, Marcus, Awat, Lucas, Ludde, Calle, Johannes, Filip, Levan, Otto, Oliver, my brothers David and Anton, my sister Linda, My parents Anki and Klas. Thank you to all the ones I didn’t include in this moment. There has been too many people to mention in one sitting that had an impact on me in this industry and Im sorry I’m forgetting some of you. But last but not least thank you to every fan who has ever bought a ticket or snuck in, bought a song or downloaded it, commented on posts or hated at them. Its your thoughts and ideas about the music that helped me evolve and I do owe everything I have to you.

My path has been filled with success but it hasn’t come without its bumps. I’ve become an adult while growing as an artist, I’ve come to know myself better and realize that there’s so much I want to do with my life. I have strong interests in different areas but there’s so little time to explore them.

Two weeks ago, I took the time to drive across the U.S. with my friends and team, to just look and see and think about things in a new way. It really helped me realize that I needed to make the change that I’d been struggling with for a while.

My choices and career have never been driven by material things, although I’m grateful for all the opportunities and comforts my success has availed me. I know I am blessed to be able to travel all around the world and perform, but I have too little left for the life of a real person behind the artist.

I will however never let go of music – I will continue to speak to my fans through it, but I’ve decided this 2016 run will be my last tour and last shows. Let’s make them go out with a bang!

One part of me can never say never, I could be back …but I won’t be right back.

Yours forever,

Tim Bergling / Avicii

Dj Tigerlily responds to leaked nude snapchat video incident

Australian DJ Tigerlily – has come out swinging, after nude photos of her were leaked online.
To summarise : she posted an entirely censored Snapchat video to her channel, covering her breasts and nether regions with emojis / drawings. But someone with hacking skills decided (he / or she ) wanted to see more — and spread it on reddit in the process .

In reaction to the video being leaked, Tigerlily responded:
As you may or may not know, in the past 24 hours there has been some content of me          spread online.

I am a young confident woman and I share many aspects of my life and who I am on social media. When I share content I make a conscious decision to do so. The content that has been ripped from Snapchat, edited and distributed is being done so against my will. As Jennifer Lawrence said ‘It is not a scandal. It is a sex crime. It is a sexual violation. It’s disgusting.’ How would you feel if this was happening to your best friend, your sister, or your girlfriend? It wouldn’t be such a laugh then I’m sure?

I’ve spoken out many times against misogyny, sexism and online bullying, and in the past 24 hours I’ve seen just how vulgar and childish some people can be. Although the crime that has been committed is NOT OK, being proud of your body and who you are IS OK. Girls – Do not ever be ashamed of your body. Do not ever let anyone else ever treat you with anything but absolute respect. You and your body are completely perfect just the way you are and you all deserve to know that and be told that each and every day.

The voices of love and support both private and public have been truly inspiring. I’ve read so many of your messages and I feel empowered by the strength and positivity of the beautiful people I have in my life. To my friends, fans and those choosing not to partake in the invasion of my privacy, I thank you.

Events like this only make me more determined to keep on path. To keep playing and writing music, exploring the world, and being so honestly myself each and every day.

Love yourself and love one another.
Peace, Love & Light to you all.

Ultra Worldwide Is Coming To BRASIL

Ultra Music Festival
Ultra Worldwide reveals the next stop in their global takeover, as they announced ULTRA BRASIL 2016 !!!

Currently the largest independent electronic music festival producer in the world, ULTRA Worldwide, has already established events in an incredible 18 countries and with this announcement, Brasil will become the 19th nation to join the ever-expanding ULTRA family in October 2016.

Famed the world over for everything from its iconic tourist attractions, such as the Christ the Redeemer Statue and Iguazu Waterfalls, to their reputation as soccer’s most dominant force, Brasil is unmistakably one of THE party destinations on the planet and ULTRA’s arrival in the country will only cement this further. The arrival also marks a true landmark moment for the country, which will now see two of the world’s greatest spectacles take place in 2016 – a full-blown Ultra Music Festival, and of course, the upcoming 31st Summer Olympic Games.

ULTRA Worldwide’s global expansion actually began in Sao Paulo, Brasil in 2008, with Russell Faibisch, the Founder, Executive Producer and CEO of ULTRA Music Festival and ULTRA Worldwide, selecting the country as the first location to launch his Miami-born concept abroad. Since then, ULTRA has gone on to host festivals across the globe in Japan, Korea, South Africa, Argentina, Chile and Croatia, and soon will arrive in Brasil bigger and better than ever before.

The news comes off the back of what has been a truly momentous year for the ULTRA brand. With new events announced in Bali, Singapore, Macau, The Philippines, Bolivia, Peru and Puerto Rico in 2015, Brasil is the first new country to be announced for ULTRA Worldwide in 2016 and it remains to be seen where it will be heading to next

“I couldn’t be more excited about bringing ULTRA to Rio de Janeiro. The beautiful venue chosen serves as the perfect waterfront location for the festival, very similar to the stunning Bayfront Park in Miami. This move has been many years in the making. Brasil holds a very special place in my heart, as it is where I originally launched the WorldWide concept in 2006. There genuinely is no place in the world that compares to the unique passion and energy of the Brazilian people.”

Russell Faibisch, CEO of Ultra Music Festival & Ultra Worldwide.

The event will take place on October 14-15 at the mesmerizing Flamengo Park in Rio, and as you can see it at the video below Carl Cox and Martin Garrix are the first confirmed headliners .

#ULTRABRASIL
