Pokemon Go Ecstasy Pills Are Flooding The Net & They’re Quite Dangerous

Unless you’ve been at a silent retreat or haven’t left the house all week you’ve probably heard of Pokémon Go. People of all ages are glued to their phones, wandering around in an attempt to find different characters.

Now, some dealers on the “dark web” are making the MDMA and 2CB pills by moulding them into the shape of “Pikachu” characters. They plan to rake in a fortune following the global launch Nintendo’s app phenomenon Pokémon Go last Thursday.

The Sunday People found that super-strength pills laced with ecstasy and the drug 2CB are being made in Dutch factories, then smuggled in bulk via encrypted “dark net” drugs markets. UK dealers pay with the anonymous online bitcoin currency and make huge profits by selling tablets at £5 a time.

So far, the markets have only been accessed from the United Kingdom (according to reports), but these sales are almost guaranteed to go international, as they are available for a 50-dose for £50 deal.

A gang source in Manchester revealed: “There are hundreds of thousands of these pills being pressed in Holland and Germany and shipped here. Chances of them being intercepted are pretty slim. Sell them for a fiver a go and you make a wedge. There’s massive demand. Pills are back in a big way.”

Enchanted Forest Festival to have on-site Marijuana Dispensary

Enchanted Forest Gathering is Northern California’s premiere music festival that takes lifestyle, music, and adventure to a whole new level. Besides sporting an impressive lineup, the festival is making history as the second-ever US festival to offer an on site medical-marijuana dispensary for its patrons with medical recommendations.

Festival goers/patients are able to choose from a variety of Emerald Pharms high-quality products. According to their site, Emerald Pharms “specializes in regional heirloom genetics and has an extensive selection of high quality, lab-tested CBD-rich and THC products, including edibles, topicals, tinctures, sublingual sprays, gel caps, and strain-specific vape oil cartridges, as well as flower, seeds, and clones.”

Enchanted Forest Gathering has a no-alcohol policy promoting “get saucy, not sauced!”.

Although alcohol is a huge factor in the music scene, this festival promotes a safe festival environment where people are free to open their minds without the use of substances like alcohol. The onsite dispensary benefits the patients, the festival, and the medical marijuana community.

While alcohol may not be present, EFG hosts no less of a party atmosphere with an emphasis on conscious movement and dance, as a return to our bodies and an alternative to alcohol. From embracing #FreeTheNipple, to a literal non-stop Saucy Spa shower party, the lack of alcohol and mutual coherent respect of one another, along with a manageable and capped attendance create an intimacy and inspiration for self-expression that isn’t found at any other festival in the US.

This festival takes place July 22-24 at Black Oak Ranch in Northern California. For more information regarding the lineup, tickets and more click HERE.

Drones could solve low mobile signal at festivals

img via aLIVEcoverage

Imagine that you’re at festival watching your favorite DJ performing, and out of the corner of your eye you notice a tethered drone hovering nearby.

But this drone isn’t taking videos or photos of the DJ. It’s temporarily providing enhanced LTE wireless coverage at the packed venue so you, along with thousands of fans in attendance, can simultaneously send photos and videos to share the moment.

AT&T have suggested that in the future the company could deploy an army of tethered drones to provide extra bandwidth and coverage in areas of high usage like festivals.

AT&T did say however that the technology is still a way off and they are currently only trialing the tech to inspect mobile phone towers to see whether it’s a viable solution for festivals in the future.

Listen to Skrillex and MIA’s new track ”Go Off”

M.I.A. has released her new track “Go Off,” a collaboration with Skrillex and Blaqstarr, from her upcoming album AIM, out September 9. British musician says upcoming LP ‘AIM’ will be her last.

While premiering her new song with Skrillex, “Go Off,” M.I.A told BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac that she wants to do “other stuff,” take a little break, and likely just release one-off tracks going forward. She says her fifth and possibly final album will also be her “cleanest,”meaning we might see a happier side to the notorious political agitator.

M.I.A. also told Annie Mac that she would like to make a “Go Off” music video, but does not want any human beings in it.

Armin’s record label Armada receives death threats after Merzo insults Portugal

UEFA EURO 2016 ended few days ago, so of course we were bound to hear some of the most dedicated football fans. Some people can take their love for sports a bit too far, which might be what Merzo did when he made a recent Facebook post.

merzo portugal ravejungle

This comment didn’t sit well with portuguese people [and understandably so]. Being that Dj Merzo is signed to Armin van Buuren‘s Armada Music, now the record label is receiving death threats.

Armada team responded by saying:

Dear people,

A few days ago, an artist we worked with has posted something (on a personal title and not related to his music) on his Facebook page.

We are receiving very hurtful comments on our social channels, we are receiving hate-mail and our staff is even receiving horrific threats. Apparently some people think they are entitled to hurt us, insult us, threat our company and our staff because they were offended by the post of this artist.

We believe everybody is entitled to his or her opinion and normally do not interfere in discussions between our fans, but we have to draw a line somewhere. Enough is enough.

Armada Music is about music and for us, music is about uniting people in their love for music. Music is not about which country you are from or which gender you are, music does not care about which religion you are or what age, and music certainly does not see your race. Nor do we. Let go of the negative and please help us bring positive vibes into this world.

Love will win over hate!

DJ stays awake for 10 days straight breaking world record for longest DJ set

Beginning June 22 and finishing up July 2, Nigeria’s DJ Obi has broken the record for world’s longest DJ set with a 230 hour [10 days] set in Sao Café Lagos.

After four or five days without sleep he was ready to give up and began hallucinating as he lost control of his body.

I woke up hallucinating after 4 or 5 days and had lost full control of my body…I used the loss my father as an inspiration, constantly thinking to myself that my Dad was watching me and would be disappointed if I failed.

The rules, set by the Guinness World Records, demanded that the DJ have someone dancing at all times. He wasn’t allowed to repeat a song within four hours of playing it but was allowed a five-minute break every hour. Obi was also allowed daily medical checks, massages and vitamins to keep him going.

Check out the video of DJ Obi in action below.

According to the Hungarian newspaper BorsOnline two girls were reportedly found unconscious in EDM duo DVBBS‘ dressing room following their performance at the Balaton Sound music festival in Hungary.

Attendees report that the two girls had been standing in the front row during their set and were invited backstage to hangout with the group. They entered a well protected area backstage, which festival organizers confirmed would not have been possible without artist accompaniment.

Apparently once DVBBS left their dressing room, a festival performer found the girls and immediately called an ambulance. Minutes after hearing what happened, one of the girls mothers called the cops and filed a police report.

A Report from 444 said that 4 men, including the duo, were arrested at Ferihegy Airport in Budapest due to drug related charges. Three of the four men tested positive for a drug test and the fourth was held as a witness. According to the Somogy County Police, the arrest was also made involving the incident about the unconscious girls.

DVBBS responded to the situation by saying:

“We are shocked that some attendees of the Balaton Festival (sic) were victims of events which got them hospitalized. Police asked our cooperation for the investigation and of course we did what we could. Police confirmed there isn’t any link between us and what happened, that’s why we took off a couple of hours later to our next gig in Ibiza. There is another case going on independently from this in connection with marijuana and we gladly answer all questions regarding this and help the police to solve the case. Our thoughts are with the victims and their families. Alex and Chris (DVBBS).”

40+ sexual assaults and five reports of rape at two swedish music festivals

img rockfoto.nu

Five rapes and more than 40 cases of sexual assault have been reported at Bravalla and Putte i Parken festivals that occurred this weekend in Sweden.

Police recorded five reports of rapes and 12 of sexual molestation at Bravalla, Sweden’s biggest music festival, and 35 reports of sexual molestation at Putte i Parken, a free festival in Karlstad, where the youngest victim was just twelve years old.

“The descriptions [of perpetrators] are diverse, with the one common denominator being that these are all young men,” said Swedish police to Mirror.  One of the victims, Alexandra Larsson, 17, told MailOnline that the men were approximately 18-years-old and that “They were probably immigrants. I hate to say it. But it is the truth,” she said.

One of the performers at Bravalla, Zara Larrson said: “Damn you people who shamelessly rape a girl in public. Damn you guys who make a girl feel unsafe when they go to a festival. I hate guys. Hate hate hate.”

After hearing about these reports, Mumford and Sons announced that they would boycott Bravalla music festival until police and organizers worked to improve security there.

We’re appalled to hear what happened at the Bravalla Festival last weekend. Festivals are a celebration of music and…
