Police Injured By Missiles During Clashes At illegal RAVE

Three police officers were injured during clashes with ravers at an illegal rave in the North East London town of Walthamstow that lasted more than seven hours. Police were called to the Hurricane Room around 9:45 p.m (Saturday, July 2). where a crowd of more than 5 hundred people were standing outside the unlicensed event.

Police officers attempted to disperse the crowd, but some of the ravers managed to gain access to the building. After that officers from the Territorial Support Group were imediatelly called to the scene to help and assist and the majority of people outside the premises were dispersed.

However, a large number of party goers refused to leave the building, barricading themselves inside. Missiles were then thrown at officers. Police officers finally entered the building  around 5 a.m. on Sunday.

Three police officers, one man and two women were reported to have sustained minor injuries, but they did not require hospital treatment. One man was arrested for criminal damage, another male was arrested for a public order offence and two men were also arrested for supplying a noxious substance.

Exactly a month from now, the king of trance music Armin van Buuren will put out a rather surprising mini album. Entitled “Old Skool” this mini album features Armin van Buuren’s versions of world-renowned dance classics such as Human Resource – “Dominator”, The Ultimate Seduction – “The Ultimate Seduction”, and Speedy J –”The Pull Over”.

Simultaneous with the start of the “Old Skool”mini album pre-order, Armin van Buuren’s version of dance classic “Dominator” has also been unleashed. “Dominator” was originally put out by Dutch dance act Human Resource in 1991 and Armin van Buuren’s rendition proved one of the most recognizable records in his live sets over the past few months, with plays on major festivals such as Ultra Music Festival Miami, The Flying Dutch Amsterdam, Ultra Music Festival Korea, EDC Las Vegas, and many more.

Though few fans would’ve expected Armin van Buuren to deliver an entire mini album so soon after the release of his sixth artist album (“Embrace”), the concept didn’t exactly come out of nowhere. “Embrace” featured a track called “Old Skool” and the tracks comprising the mini album are all part of Armin van Buuren’s ongoing ‘Armin Only Embrace’ world tour.

BREAKING: Lollapalooza canceled because of Rihanna

Lollapalooza Colombia canceled after Rihanna pulls out over fears of Zika virus.

Rihanna was to headline the inaugural Lollapalooza Colombia in Bogotá this September, but this week pulled out of the gig over concerns about contracting Zika virus. The festival was also set to feature performances from Lost Frequencies, Disclosure, Robin Schulz, Markus Schulz, Nicky Romero, Yellow Claw, and The Chainsmokers, among others.

Organizers of the event has since axed the festival because they don’t have enough time to find a headlining replacement for Rihanna.

Consequence of Sound reports: “In an issued statement, Lollapalooza organizers said they did not have enough time to find a replacement headliner. Ticket refunds are being offered…Organizers said they still hope to stage an event in Colombia in the future.”

Marshmello trolling Deadmau5 in ”Alone” music video [VIDEO]

Freshly signed onto Monstercat record label with his single “Alone,” Marshmello is easily one of the label’s most intriguing newcomers. In his latest music video it’s evident to everybody that he’s trolling Deadmau5. You can clearly see, that before going to school Marshmello is feeding his pet mouse named Joel.

After enduring his fair share of bullying at school and getting shut down by his crush, the outcast Marshmello gets discovered DJing in his bedroom. Just as the song’s jubilant drop kicks in, we see the masked producer prevailing as others are brought together by his music and he finds himself as a new leader among his peers. Fans are left with a sense of afterglow as all winds down, matching the track’s sense of positivity.

Insomniac raised record-breaking amount for charity at EDC Las Vegas 2016

Insomniac once again proved its dedication and commitment to the Las Vegas community. With more than 60 auction items up for grabs during this year’s EDC Week Charity Auction, fans from around the world were able to bid on unique items or special festival perks and simultaneously raise a whopping $119,941 for a local charity.

The charity chosen for the 2016 auction, the Shade Tree of Las Vegas, is a nonprofit organization aiding women, children, and pets that have been affected by domestic abuse and crisis. The generosity of this year’s program has touched the hearts of their fans and the community alike.

The funds raised by Insomniac will help redesign the Shade Tree’s Children’s Activity Center (CAC), a space dedicated to providing a safe and constructive learning environment for children served at the shelter.

On top of that $120,000 from this year’s auction, Insomniac has also donated funds—$1 from each EDC Vegas ticket sold – to a variety of local foundations through the Charitable Giving Initiative. This year’s recipients included the Emergency Medicine Resident Research Fund, the Injured Police Officer’s Fund, and the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation.

Deadmau5 receives his own virtual reality video game [VIDEO]

Deadmau5 and Absolut Labs have teamed up to create a new video game that allows “fans to join the Canadian DJ in his own virtual world like never before.” Their collaboration includes an exclusive track, and the brand will be selling limited edition Deadmau5 cardboard VR viewers.

According to a statement from Deadmau5 “the Absolut deadmau5 experience begins in the artist’s garage with a guest appearance from his Instagram-famous cat, Meowingtons. Here, users help deadmau5 select one of his iconic cars, complete with a driver, and set out on a journey toward a nighttime gig.”

“It’s no secret I’m a huge gamer,” Joel says. “Video games have always played a major role in my life. I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to create my own VR gaming experience, especially when it meant I could bring a broad set of fans on an interactive journey alongside me, and share my music with them in a whole new way.”

Starting on June 30th, fans can pre-order a limited edition Absolut Deadmau5 cardboard VR headset, that the brand is actually selling for $18. The app will be available for download on all major platforms, including iOS and Android starting July 27, and Deadmau5 will also perform a live set live in NYC on the same day.

Headhunterz Sends Message to His Fans About Return to Defqon 1

At this year’s edition of the hardstyle festival Defqon 1, Willem Rebergen, better known by his stage name Headhunterz made an unexpected appearance which was his first time there since he officially announced his retirement from hardstyle.

The DJ didn’t know what to expect but the fans welcomed him with wide arms opened once again. All judgement, negativity, and confusion was completely absolved when Headhunterz stepped again on the Defqon 1 stage; and he ended his emotional piece with “Until we meet again”. He hasn’t forgotten his roots and he will surely make another appearance at some point in time.

I don’t even know where to begin.

Every letter that I write here feels like it’s falling short compared to the unforgettable experience
of being welcomed with open arms once more by my hardstyle family at Defqon 1.

All confusion, all negativity, all judgement and frustration just completely melted and I felt connected to all of you like I have
never ever in my life felt connected with people.
I realized how hard I normally am on my self and how self criticizing the voice in my head is, but when I heard all you people cheering and finally saw people in the front row breaking down in tears my heart just completely spilled over.
I felt so much compassion towards everyone standing there, every single person in the crowd on their search for happiness including myself, a little boy that is now a grown man but deep inside never really grew up.

The love and appreciation that I felt from all of you was overwhelming and is impossible to put into words. It is the kind of love that I wish everyone could feel much more often. A kind of loves that unites people as one.

I want you all to know that despite the fact that I have taken a new direction and that it’s important for me to be committed to that, I will never ever forget where I came from. Hardstyle is engraved in the core of my being and I will always carry my beautiful past with me wherever I go, with pride.
