Sinego unveils his latest track ‘Historia De Un Amor’ on CORE Records

CORE Records is thrilled to unveil ‘Historia De Un Amor’ by the talented Sinego, inspired by the cinematic worlds of Quentin Tarantino, Robert Rodriguez, and the adventurous spirit of Anthony Bourdain.

This track is not just a call to the dancefloor; it aims to stir the soul and ignite the imagination, encouraging listeners to visualize themselves riding a horse across the vast expanses of Sonora, Mexico.

Each beat and rhythm in the track is imbued with the spirit of adventure, mystery, and passion, drawn from movies like ‘Kill Bill’, ‘No Reservations’ and ‘Once Upon a Time in Mexico’. ‘Historia De Un Amor‘ is the first single of the eagerly awaited ‘CORE VA: Tulum 24′ EP, set to release on February 2.

Sinego – Historia De Un Amor

Sinego, a Mexican-Colombian artist, has garnered acclaim for his innovative blend of Latin American traditions with modern electronic sounds. His 2023 album ‘Alterego‘ was a tour de force in this regard, weaving local folk genres with house and techno rhythms.

In ‘Historia De Un Amor‘, Sinego offers a fresh take on the Bolero genre and an old Panamanian love story. Characterized by its intricate lyrics and romantic themes, Bolero has been revered as the quintessential romantic Latin American song genre of the twentieth century.

Historia De Un Amor‘ is a track that transcends boundaries, infused with the essence of harmony, love, and beauty – elements sometimes overlooked in contemporary electronic music. Sinego‘s vision for the track is a lush journey through the jungles of Tulum, evoking imagery of horses and the celebrated Charro culture of Mexico. This creation is not just a song; it’s a vivid narrative that pays homage to tradition while appealing to modern electronic music aficionados.

As Sinego continues to leave his mark on the world stage, ‘Historia De Un Amor‘ stands as a testament to his mastery in fusing the old with the new, creating a soundscape that is both deeply rooted and exploratory.

This release is an invitation to experience the romantic and devotional aspects of music, echoing through the heart of Latin America and beyond.

Paradise City Festival announces first names for 2024 edition

After a record 2023 edition with over 43.000 visitors that exceeded all expectations, Paradise City has established itself as one of the Belgian music festivals that can’t be ignored.

Now, the organization is gearing up for another summer. Visitors can expect big smiles, extraordinary music, and positive vibes across three days and nights. Besides its legendary dancefloor energy, the electronic music festival is famous for its lush green waterside location, constant sustainability efforts, impressive stage design, and high-quality light and sound productions.

Having launched the ticket shop last week, the Paradise City team has dropped the first part of the lineup.

Paradise City 2024 lineup

With Bonobo and Maribou State, Paradise City will welcome two household names that have exported their brand of warm and organic dance music across the globe for decades. Those looking for faster tempos will be happy to see names like Marlon Hoffstadt, Job Jobse, Daria Kolosova, Skin on Skin and DJ Gigola.

These are some of the most sought-after DJs of the moment. Additionally, plenty of prime space is reserved for homegrown talent. For example, Blck Mamba, Emily Jeanne and Zouzibabe will get a well-deserved spot in the limelight. For the occasion, Antwerp’s Lola Haro will even go back-to-back with Berlin’s techno legend Marcel Dettmann.

The organization now wants to continue that trend with a seventh stage, dedicated entirely to chill-out, downtempo and ambient performances.

More so, you can expect a complete audiovisual journey from start to finish, including better light production, improved sound systems, more surprising details and more art installations all over the site. Finally, there’s good news for those who want to stay at the campsite. The organisation will maintain the same capacity while enhancing the camping experience by introducing a proper stage and upgrading the chill zone.

Since day one, the Paradise City team has worked hard to make their event as sustainable and eco-friendly as possible. That’s why they’re happy to share that Paradise City has yet again been selected as one of the greenest festivals in the world by A Greener Festival – this international non-profit rates events on their sustainability efforts.

For the fourth year in a row, Paradise City is awarded the maximum of four stars, which makes it one of the greenest music festivals on the continent.

Over the coming months ION will be announcing many more artists alongside the line up for their Pool Parties, their day parties in Gjipe (a remote beach, only accessible by boat) and a full Wellness programme, offering everything from guided meditation to ice baths.
