Black Coffee returns to Hï Ibiza for new summer residency

This summer, GRAMMY-nominated superstar Black Coffee returns to Hï Ibiza to continue one of the island’s most forward-thinking residences. The South African pioneer will headline the famous Hï Ibiza Theatre every Saturday from 14th May to 1st October.

Black Coffee‘s weekly party at Hï Ibiza is one of the most iconic residencies on the White Isle, known for its cutting-edge soundtrack as well as its mix of underground, pioneering and influential guests. With another groundbreaking season planned for 2022, the Hï Ibiza Theatre will be filled with spiritual energy and plenty of African house heat. Immersive visuals and stunning decor will make for an escapist atmosphere with evocative house sounds and a crowd that is always willing to go wherever Black Coffee wants to take them.

Black Coffee continues to dominate the global dance music landscape. His remarkable journey has taken him to the biggest stages in the world, including sold-out tours and collaborations with megastars such as David Guetta, Pharrell Williams and Drake.

In 2021, his seventh studio album, Subconsciously, dropped and later was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Album. As anyone who has experienced them will know, his electric sets of Afropolitan house never sound better than in the vast Theatre of Hï Ibiza, which has been the scene of some truly unforgettable parties since he first took up his role as a headline resident back in 2017 when the club first opened its doors.

The Galaxy and Kage team up for a powerful new track ‘Get Crunk’

Dancefloors of 2022, there’s venom in the air: The Galaxy and Kage team up as dastardly dancefloor instructors on Be Yourself Music, wanting clubbers to sweat bullets for a rocky bass ride, hellbent on making you earn bruises as a badge of honour.

‘Get Crunk’ might be a signal for getting loose and letting it all hang out in other genres: here, this house/techno-edged hard rock is not so charitable, particularly when its synth-lead intermissions grunt and take aim like a raging bull. Tough with a capital T, ‘Get Crunk’ is elastic enough to slingshot its way across arenas and leave you seeing stars.

Now tooled up with dark side sounds after the Big & Dirty beast of ‘Wicked’ last year, The Galaxy continues to hop from playlist to playlist having sent the Balearica of ‘Bulletproof’ dipping over the horizon. soundslikeLANG releases his debut EP “Midnight and the City”

Los Angeles electronic-based artist, DJ and producer soundslikeLANG releases his debut EP “Midnight and the City”, capturing his die-hard fanbase with incredible emotive-house sounds, invigorating listeners’ nostalgia.

With groovy elements driving an overall atmospheric vibe, soundslikeLANG brings you on a fresh adventure through his ultra-creative mind.

Reminiscent of Electronic Artists like Odesza, RUFUS DU SOL, Bonobo and Lane 8; the EP offers emotive soundscape, insatiable & blissful deep synths, all building up to thrilling drops that will have listeners eager to hit the dance floor with good company. Produced entirely by himself, “Midnight and the City” EP evokes the feelings of freedom within the unlimited boundaries of electronic music.

“I always loved music as a kid, and music started way earlier for me at a young age. My father and I used to listen to Tom Petty records in his ‘93 Mercury Capri, and I still have that tape today. That record changed my life. I used to take my mom’s tape recorder, and she used to sing in church, and she would use the tape recorder to record herself during choir practices.

The first time I recorded anything was on that tape recorder where I played that Tom Petty tape, while singing the entire tape from front to back over the audio coming from our home tape player boombox. I recorded over my mom’s choir practice tape, and I still have yet to live it down to this day.

“All my friends were in a band, and I wanted to join the band. My friend Niall’s stepfather had a guitar, and I would noodle along to my friend Niall’s’ nonsense. I would go to Niall’s house and would go right to that guitar. I convinced my parents to end up buying a guitar and they ended up getting me a fender telecaster.

I learned a lot of my chops from my friend Jake, whose father was Bob Lanza, an East Coast Hall of Fame Blues Player. I saw Jake and his father play an Allman Brother’s track at a local watering hole, and I saw the connection between music through both of their guitars and the relationship between father and son connecting through something that connects us all: music.”

Before his photography & videography career, he was a professional inline skater, traveling the world and performing at festivals and venues where he thought “I’ll be performing here in a different capacity one day.” Now is that time for soundslikeLANG. In 2014 that career came to an end, where he sustained a traumatic brain injury that left him with an 80% chance of mortality. The repercussions of his brain injury left him with a serious case of tinnitus.

To overcome these obstacles, he spent his time in recovery, rehabilitating his mind, body, and soul with the guitar, which eventually helped the symptoms of tinnitus subside. This is where he found the ultimate healing power of music, through listening and producing it.

Although “Midnight and the City” is the debut EP for soundslikeLANG, his exposure to the music industry has been carried through his passion for photography and videography for notable names. Having worked with Justin Bieber, Poo Bear, The Game, Post Malone, B.O.B., Kelly Rowland. And outside of music he has worked with legends James Cameron on “Avatar”, Aaron Paul, Bryan Cranston, the Kardashians, Olivia Culpo, Russell Westbrook, and many more.

These music and industry connections inspired him to pick back up his passion for music, leading to a breakthrough realization during quarantine to start up his solo project “soundslikeLANG”.

In 2022, fans can expect performances, both locally in Los Angeles and nationwide with exciting new collaborations and a string of single releases leading into his next EP, recently teased at his sold-out release party.

Whether he is out with a camera or producing in the studio, soundslikeLANG has been able to break the music industry through God given talents which the world is now able to see through his music.

Nicole Moudaber launches new monthly mix series exclusively for Apple Music

Techno queen Nicole Moudaber has just launched a brand-new monthly mix series exclusively for Apple Music.

Already reigning the airwaves with her beloved ‘In The MOOD‘ radio show, Moudaber‘s new mix series will see the sought-after DJ record an exclusive mix for the innovative music platform. Each month will feature a different ‘In The MOOD for’ theme, with the first episode released in celebration of International Women’s Day, featuring music from the likes of Sofia Kourtesis, Desire, Gina Breeze Charly Schaller and Ela Minus.

A staunch advocate for women’s rights, Nicole was the first DJ to champion the International Women’s Day mix, and this month sees Moudaber drop not one but two specials to celebrate female empowerment.

In addition to her Apple Music mix, Nicole has put together an IWD edition of her ‘In The MOOD‘ radio show, comprised solely of female artists, all requested by her fans. This year’s show includes tracks from a diverse range of artists such as Janet Jackson, Laurie Anderson, Ella Fitzgerald, K Hand and Qrion.

“This year I decided to do two IWD mixes. One I curated and can be heard on my brand new In the MOOD mix series exclusively for Apple Music. The second mix was chosen entirely by requests from in the MOOD listeners from around the world. Artists in the mix include icons such as Laurie Anderson, Janet Jackson and K-Hand to newer artists from Shindo to Qrion” says Nicole Moudaber.

With this latest announcement, Nicole joins only a handful of other artists that have been handpicked for their own Apple Music show, once again cementing her position as one of the most influential names in the techno community. Currently preparing for another edition of her world famous ‘In The Mood‘ party concept set to take place at Factory Town, Miami, later this month, the globally-adored producer’s continually evolving and expanding MOOD empire proves her a force to be reckoned with.

AIRBEAT ONE Festival unveils the second phase of its 2022 lineup

The anticipation for “Bella Italia” in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern is growing day by day. From 06 – 10 July 2022, the Neustadt-Glewe airfield will be transformed into an Italian festival village.

For the 19th edition of AIRBEAT ONE Festival, the gigantic pyro show will shine in green, white and red. Northern Germany’s largest electronic music festival, has just announced new wave of superstar artists set to perform at this year’s edition.

Over 30 artists from DJ Mag Top 100, the world’s most important DJ ranking list, are already confirmed. Seven DJs from the Top 10 alone will be on the gigantic Mainstage: Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Don Diablo, Oliver Heldens, Steve Aoki, Timmy Trumpet!

With DJ Snake, NERVO, Tiësto, Bassjacker, Danny Avila, Mariana BO six more Top 100 members join the already fixed Mainstage players around 3 Are Legend, Kygo, Marshmello, Vini Vici, W&W, Will Sparks and Yellow Claw.

Neelix and the Ostblockschlampen present the German artists on the Mainstage.

In 2022, the new techno Arena stage will finally be inaugurated at the 19th edition of AIRBEAT ONE Festival. And for this premiere two sensational stage hosts have been arranged.

On Thursday, Boris Brejcha and his “fckng serious brand” will take the reins. On Friday and Saturday it will be very colorful and extravagant with the most famous Spanish Electro-Dance party elrow.

Three Top 100 DJs including Charlotte de Witte, Claptone and Fisher are also set to perform at this very new Arena stage. Kölsch, Mark Knight and Vintage Culture also join the already announced elrow artists around Camelphat and Paul Kalkbrenner.

The Terminal Stage will also feature some of the stars of the DJ Mag ranking, including Fedde Le Grand, the Dutch house DJ, Lost Frequencies the renowned Belgian DJ and producer, MORTEN, the famous Danish DJ, Nora en pure, the Swiss house DJane and producer, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, the famous Dutch DJ duo and VIZE, the slaphouse creators and chart toppers from Germany.

The German DJ team of Alle Farben and Robin Schulz is joined by Gestört aber GeiL, Lari Luke, Lexy & K-Paul, Anstandslos & Durchgeknallt and 9PM hit remake producer TOPIC. Lucas & Steve, Dillon Francis, DJ Lidsba, EDX, HUGEL, MALAA, The Stickman and Zeds Dead close the phase 2 at the Terminal, for which Ofenbach and Tchami were already booked.

Hardstyle fans should also be super-excited, as the takeover of global hard music player Q-dance has already been announced. With Angerfist, Brennan Heart and Miss K8 three acts of the Top 100 were already booked. Also of huge importance for the hardstyle performance are Adaro, the Dutch hardstyle DJ, Audiotricz, the hardstyle duo, Coone, the Belgian hardstyle DJ, as well as D-Block & S-te-Fan, the Dutch hardstyle duo.

They will be joined by Dr. Peacock, Frequencerz, Keltek, Noisecontrollers and Zatox. Psyko Punkz, Ran-D, Rebelion, Sefa, Sound Rush, Sound Rush & Atmozfears pres. 2^1, Sub Zero Project and TNT make the second line up announcement for the new Gladiator Stage complete. Here D–Sturb, Headhunterz Radical Redemption, Warface and Wildstylez were already set to perform. And for the pre-opening in the Main Circus on Wednesday icons of the Harder styles such as Paul Elstak, Code Black, Deadly Guns, Jeborer and Korsakoff are ready to blast the speakers.

The Second stage is all about PsyTrance and Trance music. World-renowned PsyTrance artists like Ace Ventura, Alpha9, Aly & Fila, Andrew Rayel, Animato, Astrix, Avalon, Ben Nicky, Berg, Blastoyz, Bliss, Bubble, Captain Hook, Claudinho Brasil, Fabio Fusco, Ghost Rider, and absolute Trance legends like Cosmic Gate, Cosmic Tone, Ferry Corsten, Markus Schulz, Morten Granau, Phaxe and Sander van Doorn (presents Purple Haze) are in the line-up.

The “3-Day VIP Full Weekend Pass” is still available in pre-sale phase I for 199,99€ plus fees.

The VIP Gold Pass costs 1199,00€ plus fees for 3 days. The Pre-Opening Pass for Wednesday is available for 34,99€ plus fees. Day tickets are available from 79,99€ plus fees. Currently, there are still spaces available for all camping options.
