Tomorrowland will give a platform to young DJ talents to showcase their skills

Just a month to go before Tomorrowland returns to the beautiful scenery of De Schorre in Boom, Belgium for its special 20-year anniversary edition! The iconic festival will be home to 16 different stages for the People of Tomorrow to discover, giving a platform to young DJ talents to showcase their skills in collaboration with the Tomorrowland Academy.

Spread over the two festival weekends, 7 young talents, from 9 to 17 years old, will get the opportunity to perform across different stages, including:

– DJ Archie, 9 years old (United Kingdom), plays house, garage and drum ‘n’ bass – Atmosphere on July 20.
– DJ Daan, 14 years old (Belgium), plays progressive and commercial – Rise on July 19.
– Dolores, 16 years old (Belgium), plays EDM and all-round – The Library on July 19.
– FLOw, 16 years old (Belgium), plays tech house and techno – House of Fortune on July 28.
– Lucca van Damme, 15 years old (Netherlands), plays big room, techno and EDM – House of Fortune on July 21 and Rise on July 26.
– Rumix, 15 years old (Belgium), plays techno – The Rose Garden on July 20.
– W4STD, 17 years old (Belgium), plays Eurodance, techno and house – House of Fortune on July 27.

In collaboration with the Tomorrowland Academy, Tomorrowland‘s DJ & producer school for kids, youngsters, and adults with unique locations in Antwerp and Hasselt, which also organizes kids and adults bootcamps throughout the year as well as around the festival, wants to inspire and empower talents from all corners of the globe to produce, release, create and perform music.

Earlier this year, Tomorrowland also launched the Online Tomorrowland DJ & Producing Academy, a new educational DJ & producer platform that gives beginning and advanced DJs & producers the chance to take their career to the next level.

While in 2023 the Rise stage, nestled in green nature full of beautiful plants and summery vibes, was the only place where young teenagers with DJ talents could take their first steps in the real world, Tomorrowland is now giving them the chance to play across several different stages, including Atmosphere, Rise, House of Fortune and The Rose Garden.

During last year’s festival edition, DJ Daan already got the chance to open the Rise stage – making for a very emotional moment when the young DJ got surprised by his idol Dimitri Vegas who joined him on stage during his set.

Leading up to Tomorrowland 2024, The Tomorrowland Academy is organizing a Start to DJ-Kids Camp from July 8 to 12, offering kids and teenagers (age 8 to 16) mentoring by professional DJs in week-long workshops at Den Oven, located 200 meters from De Schorre.

After their bootcamp, the kids and teenagers will get the unique chance to perform at Tomorrowland‘s Neighborhood Party on July 24.

Elements Music & Arts Festival Announces Day by Day Lineup for 2024

Elements Music & Arts Festival, the premier immersive electronic festival of the Northeast, has announced the day by day lineup ahead of its 2024 edition in Long Pond, Pennsylvania on August 9-11.

Thursday’s early arrival kicks off with the party-starting Desert Hearts crew of Mikey Lion, Marbs, Porky & Lee Reynolds plus fan favorite bass producer Of The Trees. Friday is led by stadium-filling superstar Illenium, a special sunset Redux set from pioneering GRAMMY-nominated DJ and producer Kaskade, veteran house selectors Green Velvet B2B Patrick Topping, and the forward thinking sonics of Liquid Stranger alongside special guests Sullivan King B2B Kayzo and Tape B.

On Saturday, fans can look forward to the head-splitting sounds of Excision, melodic bass pioneers Slander plus the techno-tinged frequencies of their Slander Presents: Before Dawn sets, multi-talented French artist and Odyzey Music label head CloZee, Late Checkout boss Chris Lorenzo and Night Bass label head AC Slater as Fly With Us, and LSDREAM playing not only his renowned futuristic dubstep production but also the sound healing and ambient bliss of his Lightcode project in a second set.

Sunday wraps with headliners featuring four to the floor favorites Chris Lake B2B Cloonee, bass music behemoth Subtronics playing two standalone sets, live jam band stalwarts and Pennsylvania royalty The Disco Biscuits, plus special guests Bob Moses (Club Set), high priestess of hard techno Sara Landry, and breakout DJ and producer it’s murph.

Speaking on the latest announcement, Elements Co-Founder Brett Herman says:

“Elements is and will always be radically inclusive – we hope to share the Elements magic with as many people as possible, even if they can only spare a day or two. For many of our NYC and Philly fans just 90 minutes away, you can easily do it in a one day round trip.

Many of our family that joined for just a day last year are now returning for the full three-day experience with camping. Once you’ve seen what we’ve created in the forests and fields, it’s only natural to want to see more”

Elements has grown rapidly into an immersive multi-day camping experience, along the way becoming a staple of the festival circuit. The move to Long Pond has aided in this growth, with Elements now hosted in the woodlands adjacent to the raceway. The venue is powered by an onsite solar farm, further assisting Elements in its long-term sustainability goals.

Elements also offers a variety of options related to accommodations, which range from car camping to on-site glamping, nearby hotels, and preset RVs and tents for those seeking an elevated experience. Shuttle passes will also be available for those looking to avoid driving, which provide rides from a variety of major cities throughout the Northeast.

Hailing from Sweden, indisputable afro house duo Vidojean x Oliver Loenn are making their grand return to Tomorrowland’s imprint with their second single ‘Embawe’, released on Tomorrowland Music!

As one of Tomorrowland‘s Future Four up-and-coming rising stars to watch and following their first introduction to the label as part of the ‘RISE VA’ (Vol. 1) earlier in April, Vidojean and Oliver Loenn have been making waves with their captivating and uplifting afro & sexy house beats, garnering unconditional support from Keinemusik, Chris Lake, Meduza, Alex Wann, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano and many other industry peers.

Joined by José Lucas for the floor-filling ‘Embawe‘ will leave listeners enchanted and craving for more, together with its mesmerizing Swahili vocals.

Super-talented DJs and producers Lee Hardy and Con Martin, known collectively as Hardy & Martin, unveil their latest release, the ‘So Sweet EP,’ on the world-renowned Fibre Records.

Both recognized as House heavy hitters, the tracks So Sweet and One More Time instantly transcend you to another realm with uplifting pianos, feel-good vocals, and succinct driving beats, embodying their signature sound that has become synonymous with the iconic Fibre brand.

Lee Hardy has been DJing for over 15 years & producing music over the last 5 years with multiple releases under his belt. A well-known DJ across the UK, he’s known for his definitive piano influenced, big vocal sound. Hardy has held a number of residencies across Liverpool, Manchester and Ibiza and is now expanding his profile and love for House music with this newly formed duo.

With 10 years of experience behind the decks, Con Martin has actively played in Ibiza for Sin Sundays, and also hosted his own Houseone Events. Recently stepping into production, Martin’s output has circulated across clubland with DJ’s from UK to Marbella and Ibiza playing his tracks.

Reflecting on the successful Fibre brand, the esteemed nightclub first opened its doors in early 2000’s and has continued its monumental impact upon Leeds’ nightlife ever since. As an innovative venue, it remains a safe space for all to enjoy a night out in the city.

Partygoers have consistently been flocking to Fibre for the past 24 years and it shows no sign of slowing. Its enduring appeal alongside regularly featuring local talent, they bridge the gap between the more traditional LGBTQ+ bars in the area and straight venues (where not everyone is always actively made to feel welcome).

Last year, after 23 years of legendary parties, the Fibre crew made the decision to launch their in-house record label Fibre Records with one clear mission – “To release dance floor filling tracks that embody the unique and captivating sound experienced week after week at Fibre”. A mission So Sweet EP most certainly has achieved. Already finding favor with the world’s leading DJ’s.
