A third event has been added to Afterlife’s anticipated upcoming shows at London’s Printworks

A third event has been added to Afterlife’s anticipated upcoming shows at London’s Printworks – now taking place 25th, 26th and 27th November.

Devised as a way of giving back to the loyal fans of Afterlife and the Printworks crowd over the years, the additional event will feature a very special line up including two appearances: Anyma presents Genesys, the multi-disciplinary music & contemporary fine art project by Tale Of Us co-founding member Matteo Milleri, and MRAK presents We Don’t Follow, the solo project from Carmine Conte (the other half of Tale Of Us), followed by an exclusive Afterlife legacy extended set courtesy of Tale Of Us.

The Afterlife Printworks Friday show will be an opportunity to witness the premiere of the highly-anticipated experience of ‘Anyma presents Genesys’.

Afterlife Printworks

Having already released some tracks to widespread acclaim, Anyma’s music will be augmented to new levels thanks to the creative technologies including real-time rendering of graphics and characters, with the boundaries between music, lights and visuals – as well as reality and virtual – blurred in a never-seen-before immersive experience. Expect special guest appearances too – as well as previews of Anyma’s forthcoming debut album.

The Friday night will also feature a live concert: MRAK presents We Don’t Follow, the solo project from Carmine Conte. The performance combines harmonising analog machinery, improvisation, modulations and digital sequences, following the models of composer and multi-instrumentalist Vangelis. The cinematic aspect of MRAK’s performance results in the immersion of the audience in a total acoustic experience.

Then, after the two founding members of the duo have performed their own unique shows – Tale Of Us will reunite to play an exclusive Afterlife legacy set to see out the evening.

Tickets for the Friday night show are available from Thursday, 13th October at 13:00 (BST) via an exclusive pre-sale for those who sign-up via this link. Any remaining tickets will be available via the general sale from Friday 14th October at 11:00 (BST) via printworkslondon.co.uk

The Organism drops new single and announces his new album “Dictator”

Ukrainian artist The Organism drops title track and announces his superb new album “Dictator” on his own label Organic Tunes. The seven track collection shows off his rich array of house styles in fine fashion.

The Organism has roots in the scene that go back 20+ years. By now he is an international name with credits on influential labels like Disco Halal & Diynamic, has had high profile support from the likes of Solomun, Dixon and DJ Tennis, and has had several tracks in the high end of the melodic charts on Beatport. This new album is a showcase of his hypnotic bass vibrations, exciting vocals and mystic ethnic sounds.

Dictator opens with silky drum loops and percussive tinkles that sink you into a clean groove next to bird calls, jungle humidity and playful bass.

Ego has twanging synths and more organic sound effects next to another rolling and catchy rhythm. Polo heads into the heart of the late night dance floor with tech house drums and cosmic synth work before Hora then ups the ante once more with flashes of synth and techno energy over deeply buried drums. The atmosphere is detailed with ambient pads and rising tension.

Gopak is another infectious cut with well sequenced synth arps, succulent drums and an ecosystem of sci-fi effects that place you deep in the cosmos. There is turbulence to Speeech that will add drama to the dance floor, and finally comes Dictator (Bonus Version) which is a wonky and off beat tech house pumper.

The Organism‘s Dictator is a left of centre house album with a unique electronic soul.

Now we imagine that in 20 -30 years with the help of mushrooms and other sacred plants, these AIs will acquire a higher consciousness and understanding of life which will allow them to live in harmony with nature, protecting life on this planet better than what we have ever been able to. That is what we are trying to showcase here. Labyrinto is a window into the gestation of this new A.I. world.”
