With new release “Get It Done”, Motez shows zero intentions of slowing his takeover of the techno and house communities. Drawing from industrial and dissonant sounds and tones found in EBM (electronic body music), dark disco, and techno, the track emits an aura of passion and resilience. By merging the instrumental with Scrufizzer’s unique vocals and delivery, the combination drives Motez’s influential message home.
Having been in the works for a long time, “Get It Done” is reflective of the strong collaborative relationship that Motez and Scrufizzer share and their ability to feed off each other’s skills in order to create sensational music.
It is the much desired reunion following their collab on “The Vibe”, which became an instant smash-hit. This was definitely a ‘no frills’ release, with “Get It Done” being the title and the message that the song wants to encompass.
Starting off with a futuristic progression, Scrufizzer’s demanding vocals are quickly introduced into the mix, building the track’s intensity. The dark drop and invigorating techno elements convince any crowd to roar in excitement. Given the theme of the song, Motez utilizes sounds that further communicate the narrative: concrete, solid, tough, and unbreakable; cold but still has devotion and heart.
“I wanted to draw from industrial and dissonant sounds and tones found in EBM, dark disco and techno, but adding Scrufizzer’s unique vocals and delivery to be a point of difference and to drive the message home. “
Pushing the perceived limits of electronic music, innovative trio Worlds Apart is back with their release of “Take Me Away”. The single features the beautiful vocals of popular singer Scarlett, which syncs perfectly with the soothing bassline and overall mood of the song.
On the surface, the track uses intricate synths, powerful electric guitar progressions, and delicate piano notes throughout to mesmerize its listeners. However, “Take Me Away” is much more than just an auditory masterpiece. Throughout the song, whether it’s the melodic dubstep in the chorus or the heavenly sound effects, an important message is conveyed.
Inspired by the Ukrainian conflict and the loss of Worlds Apart member Jason‘s mother, “Take Me Away” shows how we struggle through tragedy and face hardships in our lives. It looks to find solace in our moments of need and escape our sorrows. “Take me away, from all of the danger so we can be free, of violence and hatred. Take me away, from all of the anger back to a time, when we were all angels.”
While Worlds Apart collectively wrote this sentimental track, each member has a vital role in the group’s success. Lorenzo and Jason focus on producing and composing each project. Jason covers the mixing and mastering components and Lorenzo is the main DJ for the trio. The third member Ashley handles all of the spectacular videography and visual arts.
This unique process that Worlds Apart operates with has led them to booming success in the EDM industry. Signed by premier labels like The Soul, Glitch Records, and Blanco y Negro Music, they continue to grow their dedicated fanbase and deliver melodic anthems to the world.
In a collaborative triumph, GRAMMY-nominated Italian trio Meduza and Brazilian artist Vintage Culture – two of dance music’s most acclaimed producers – have joined forces for their brand-new collab ‘Under Pressure’, released through Tomorrowland Music.
Their highly anticipated house weapon ‘Under Pressure‘ comes in the shape of a progressive and melodic blend with mesmerizing melodies, sometimes deep and emotional, yet sometimes powerful and ecstatic. ‘Under Pressure’ is Meduza‘s and Vintage Culture‘s first official record together, bound to captivate dancefloors in gripping fashion.
‘Under Pressure‘ gives listeners that delirious and intoxicating feeling throughout the entire run, demonstrating both artists’ ear for a solid house production and combining their talents into one blissful output. ‘Under Pressure’ is part of a collection of exclusive festival releases by Tomorrowland Music under this year’s festival theme ‘The Reflection of Love‘, celebrating the return of Tomorrowland after three years by gathering some of the biggest artists in electronic music on Tomorrowland’s record imprint.
Meduza: “We have been crossing paths and sharing line ups (and parties) with Vintage Culture for months, maybe years, so we inevitably had to get in the studio to create something together! We have been playing Under Pressure for a while in clubs and on main stages and it really moves the crowd. Ben Samama’s understated and rhythmic vocal was the perfect cherry on top really giving the vibe we wanted.”
Vintage Culture: “From Ibiza to Vegas, ‘Under Pressure’ is receiving great reactions from fans around the world. ‘Under Pressure’ is my first original collaboration with Meduza. Ben Samama’s vocal performance shines on this track and I’m very proud of the results. We’re looking forward to finally releasing ‘Under Pressure’ to audiences everywhere.”

As one of the most groundbreaking artists in the electronic space, TWO LANES is ready to take their mesmerizing act to North America. Their first headlining tour across the United States and Canada will make appearances at many prestigious venues, like Flash in Washington, D.C., Valley Bar in Phoenix, The Mercury Lounge in NYC, and Le Ministre in Montreal.
What makes TWO LANES such a unique duo is their ability to blend musical elements from ambient, neoclassical, melodic techno, and other genres. Leo brings his classical knowledge and piano expertise to the table, with the help from his Master’s Degree in Historical Performance from The Juilliard School in NYC. Meanwhile, Rafa delivers his genius in electronic production and sound design on every one of the pair’s projects.
Together, TWO LANES syncs acoustic piano, minimal beats, and soothing analogue synthesizers to create works of auditory art such as their new track “Left Behind” with artist Panama. Discussing the process behind making the song, TWO LANES states:
“We sent a track to Jarrah aka Panama and he worked on the vocals and also added ideas to the production which then inspired us to dive back deeply into the track to make everything blend perfectly with his ideas.
The process of working remotely on a piece of music is very different from being in the studio together. In the studio, you can react instantly and bounce ideas back and forth. If you work remotely things are different: The other artist sends you their idea and you receive not only some new input but the result of days maybe even weeks of work they spent on crafting new ideas – which is deeply inspiring and exciting. We can’t wait to one day meet Jarrah in person.”
Fortified by chilling vocal echoes and heavenly synths, “Left Behind” showcases Panama‘s voice and TWO LANES gifted instrumentation and production. Hearing this track live on the duo’s upcoming North American tour is a must-have on your bucket list.
