Josh Richards releases brand new track ‘Que Sera’ incl. El Mundo & Zazou remix

Flow Music continues to dazzle with another fresh release from its record label, which five releases in, has already featured music from iconic artists such as Super Flu and Dave Seaman.

Based in Australia, the imprint often focuses on home-grown Aussie talent that it wants to present to the world and invites influential artists to put their stamp on releases in the form of a remix.

This latest release follows that same formula and presents the debut release from Melbourne based Josh Richards who makes his first ever release with a track called “Que Sera“. The original is complimented with a collaborative remix from Berlin based organic house artists El Mundo & Zazou.

A young artist still in his early 20s, Josh Richards‘ sound has a maturity that takes most artists decades of releases to achieve. He is a raw talent whose refined sound shows a depth, warmth and attention to detail. Fusing uplifting, melodic tones and an epic bassline with sensual vocal textures, Que Sera is a piece of music that moves the mind body and soul.

El Mundo & Zazou are known for their joint productions on record labels including Kindisch and Do Not Sit, but they are also individual talents boasting separate achievements. El Mundo for example is known for his releases on Crosstown Rebels and collaborations with Satori, while Zazou has also worked with the likes of Just Emma.

Their remix of Que Sera is true to the original as it leaves the bassline and vocal chants as the core elements, but adds piano chords and a refined structure that unfolds more gradually to keep the listener on tenterhooks. This refined version is perfect for DJ sets and it’s hard to pick a favorite between the release’s two tracks.

Armin van Buuren innovates with new ‘Computers Take Over The World’ release, promoting record with first-ever entirely ai co-created campaign

Armada Music is releasing the next track from Armin van Buuren, “Computers Take Over The World”. The track was premiered at EDC Las Vegas and has since been a staple in recent live sets, including Ultra Europe, and Tomorrowland.

The track’s vocals were generated by the voice assistant of a MacBook, and all promotional assets for the release, from the artwork and the music video to this very press release, were co-created using AI technology.

Humorous and catchy, ‘Computers Take Over The World‘ is a light-hearted way of poking fun at how reliant the world has become on technology, suggesting that one day a computer might even take over Armin van Buuren‘s job. After all, everything you need is “a beat, you need a clap, put in some hats, and you need some bass!”

With the help of AI tools such as Stable Diffusion (artwork), The Deforum Notebook (video), OpenAI Playground (press release and social media copies), Munch App (social media assets), and design and technology firm Your Majesty (campaign guidance), Armin van Buuren, lead the first ever AI co-created marketing campaign for a music release. Though the track is playful, the concept of a world fully intertwined with AI technology is quite thought provoking.

With this innovative marketing campaign where nearly every step of this release involved some form of AI assistance, Armin van Buuren highlights how we may not be so far off from this reality.

Promotional elements of the campaign were shaped from well-written prompts inputted into the AI tools and what transpired were detailed artworks, videos, and factual text about Armin van Buuren and this release. Only minor adjustments were made by humans to the assets that AI created, showcasing that perhaps with just a little more learning, computers really could take over the world!

On the music, Armin van Buuren (ahem, the AI text bot) comments: “The lyrics for ‘Computers Take over The World’ were actually created by playing around with the voice assistant on my laptop. I was amused by how things would sound when read by that robotic voice and thought it would be fun to create a silly song about how computers can do almost anything nowadays.”

Enrico Sangiuliano Announces NINETOZERO’s Second Concept EP, “Sound Of Space”

Launching his debut label and event initiative earlier this year with the chart-topping “Silence” EP, Enrico Sangiuliano is supplying the underground community with an anthology of conceptual studies that encourage us to reevaluate the way in which we consume music.

Continuing the imprint’s countdown of releases, the sound designer now announces his second opus in NINETOZERO‘s transient existence. The 2-track “Sound Of Space” EP is available to pre-order now and will be live across all streaming platforms on September 30th.

Following a hugely successful inaugural release, Sangiuliano‘s forthcoming “Sound Of Space” EP was quickly circulated across the festival scene, with the title track becoming one of the most hotly-tipped Track IDs of the summer. Continuing the label’s strong undercurrent of evanescence, Sangiuliano‘s second chapter explores the effects of space and physical surroundings on our experience of music.

Space is a concept we continuously interact with in music, whether we live it subconsciously or not. It’s a vital component in our perception; altering the expression of the music to the listener’s surroundings and functioning as an interactive field.

Before the development of recording equipment & technology, music’s environmental characteristics were defined by the space in which it was performed, and as such, Enrico’s latest offering aims to revive this practice in music. To wholly pervade the senses and demonstrating this concept first hand, the 2-tracker will be also available in spatial audio, giving listeners a 360-degree infiltration of sound.

In conjunction with the project, Enrico is extending NINETOZERO‘s ephemeral messaging to a series of accompanying all-night-long events, providing audiences with the ideology of 90s club culture through which to experience his immersive records.

Correlative to his forthcoming “Sound Of Space” EP, the Emilia-native’s next SOLO event will take place at the iconic Kompass Klub in Ghent, Belgium on October 1st. Tickets for Enrico Sangiuliano Presents NINETOZERO SOLO #8 are available to purchase HERE.
