Showtek enlists Belinda and Nacho on ‘Una Mamacita’

Showtek is making their highly-anticipated return to the release radar with ‘Una Mamacita’, a new collaborative Latin-inspired track featuring the vocal talents of Belinda and Nacho.

The new single from the esteemed brother DJ duo follows their April-released tune ‘The Weekend‘ with Eva Shaw. Out now via Universal Music, ‘Una Mamacita‘ is available to listen to across all streaming platforms.

The fun, energetic track kicks off with soft, sensual Spanish lyrics. The first half of the single features a harmonious flowing vocal, courtesy of highly-renowned Mexican singer/songwriter Belinda. Famed Venezuelan singer Nacho‘s rich, textured voice quickly makes an entrance, flawlessly complementing Belinda’s melodious sonic performance. The latest to come from Showtek is audibly a slight pivot from the norm for the pair.

Exchanging hefty bass drops for more refined pop-leaning electronic dance music, this song is an exciting precedent for what’s to come musically from the duo in the near future.

‘The song has been a really fun process. We all met for the first time in the studio in Miami and were supposed to do a 3 hour session but we ended up recording until 5 in the morning.

Le Youth drops his second single on Armada Music

Only a few weeks after debuting on Armada Music with ‘Other Voices’, American electronic music mainstay Le Youth has upped the ante with another gorgeous track released on the Amsterdam-, New York- and London-based record label.

Steeped in his authentic sound from start to finish, ‘Underwater‘ picks up where its predecessor left off for a sonic experience that’ll leave listeners gasping for air.

Deep-diving into all that lies beneath the surface, Le Youth‘s second-ever single on Armada Music makes for an insanely compelling story that grabs and doesn’t let go. Juggling tender harmonies and soothing melodies with warm vocals that ooze with heartfelt emotion, ‘Underwater‘ is exactly the kind of record that’s best enjoyed on infinite repeat mode.

Le Youth: “I spent a lot of time on ‘Underwater’, which went through a lot of different versions over the last two years. Not surprisingly, I ended up releasing the first version I ever did. I think it’s a great fit with ‘Other Voices’ musically, which is why we decided to release them together. I hope everyone will enjoy both!”

‘10 Years Later‘ is a pulsating tech track, displaying van de Wall‘s ability to craft fresh and exciting house and techno productions. An exploration of a genre the Dutchman is truly passionate about, ‘10 Years Later‘ proves van de Wall’s remarkable versatility as a producer.

ADDAC System announces its new, long-awaited Eurorack module, ADDAC403 VC Time Signature Clock Sources. Featuring multiple sections for a combined total of (8) independent trigger outputs, the module presents many clocking possibilities for users — both conventional and unconventional.

ADDAC403 — available in January for €350 — is capable of producing standard time signature musical notation, but it is also possible to generate syncopation, irregular tempo ratios and phasing all at once — all in a single, straightforward unit.

The module features an extremely stable digital clock with over time drift compensation, adjustable to any BPM up to 1 decimal case (from 0.1 to 250.0 BPM). Also, there is a tap tempo button and pingable input for syncing to external clocks using either soft or hard sync modes.

In addition to comprehensive time signature and divider sections, a phasing section features a totally independent clock that can run in two modes: Tempo, running at a slower/faster BPM phasing in and out of tempo against the main clock; and Offset, which runs at the same BPM but offset and delayed against the main clock generating a steady syncopated beat.

Four modes allow different trigger and mute functionalities, which can run in a loop or in a ‘one shot’ mode. Among other features, a ‘Swing Delay‘ section allows delaying one beat at certain beat intervals, and a dedicated delay knob defines the delay in a fraction of one beat — also allowing the generation of syncopated beats.

Each section of the ADDAC403 features its own LED, and by default, the default display shows the current time signature status. By pressing the [SHOW/MENU] button, it will display each section setting in sequential order. All settings on the unit can be saved to a single memory slot, and upon startup the memory state will be automatically loaded. Further, all knobs and push buttons have their own dedicated CV/trigger inputs, except the [BPM] encoder and [SHOW/MENU] button.

Techno DJ and producer Ellen Allien and the BPitch team proudly announce a 33-track compilation dedicated to the infamous ‘We Are Not Alone’ event series and Berlin’s underground techno talent.

BPitch Control and UFO Inc. boss Ellen Allien‘s innovative party series was launched in 2016 and remains committed to inviting an exciting crew of artists to perform alongside stunning visuals by Pfadfinderei. After the closure of the beloved homebase ‘Griessmuehle‘, the rave moved to the old venue’s new location that became: Revier Südost.

The ‘We Are Not Alone‘ compilation features artists that have played at the WANA parties, as well as those who will join the line-up for future events. ‘We Are Not Alone‘ will be released in three installments, featuring 11 tracks each.

The biggest trance music festival in North America, Insomniac’s Dreamstate, will return to Southern California Friday, Nov. 19 and Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021 at NOS Events Center. The highly anticipated event promises to be the biggest Dreamstate to date.

Trance music fans can expect the state-of-the-art production Insomniac is known for, including larger and newly redesigned stages, in addition to the genre’s most accomplished producers bringing their high-energy sound from across all sub-genres of trance.

Bassrush, Insomniac’s flagship bass brand, has teamed up with Belgian bass DJ and produer duo Ganja White Night for a can’t miss night of bass beats at the Park ‘N Rave Concert Series, Saturday, Nov. 28 from 7 – 11 p.m. at NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, CA. 

Ganja White Night, made up of Benjamin “Bamby” Bayeul and Charlie “Erwan” Dodson, is known for its iconic “wobble” sound and captivating live performance experience. The duo’s sound hails from their roots in Belgium, as well as early U.K. bass and reggae, creating a signature and unique energy.
