Balaton Sound Festival completes the four-day programme for its 2023 edition and unveils VIP packages

Balaton, one of Europe’s biggest and most exotic beach festivals just released videos and images featuring some of the new onsite developments of the Zamárdi open-air beach this year. With a strong line-up featuring the likes of Armin van Buuren, Carl Cox, Charlotte De Witte, Tiësto, Adam Beyer and more, the festival now completes the four-day programme that will take place between the 28 June and 1 July.

This year the Heineken Balaton Sound Main Stage will undergo a significant revamp, with a led wall as the main component for spectacular visuals.

The stage structure, 10 metres high and 60 metres wide, will hold a 500m2 panel of 1,978 LEDs, which will be complemented by lighting technology to provide an unforgettable experience, setting the stage for shows by Armin van Buuren, Tiesto, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike to name a few.

Balaton Sound Festival is a European reference for VIP offerings and exclusive onsite venues. This year, the VIP experience will include:

Las Vegas Casino Events VIP will host an exclusive festival environment from 4 pm until 4 am. When the Heineken Balaton Sound Main Stage programme finish, local DJs will take over the decks, but of course, the main stage shows will be visible from the Casino balcony. The food will be provided by Buddha Original, with a Far Eastern wok menu and sushi bites. Drinks will be available at various VIP bars with bottle service and reservations opening during the festival. VIP guests will also have access to a complete casino with roulette, blackjack tables and slot machines, bringing the Vegas atmosphere to the shores of Lake Balaton.

The VIP Sunset Beach experience will allow festival goers to relax in an exclusive setting, sunbathe or splash in the refreshing Lake Balaton until 8 pm, and enjoy the sunset with a cocktail. Sunset Beach will feature a private bar, a VIP toilet block, towel service and the opportunity to book a free relaxing Thai massage.

Lost in Jungle VIP is a thrilling visual experience with a paradise atmosphere featuring realistic visuals of giraffes, gorillas and all kinds of exotic animals. Digó pizzeria will be serving burrito specialities along with vegetarian options. From its balcony, VIP attendees will enjoy privileged views of the B Stage programme with Charlotte de Witte or Carl Cox in the B my Lake zone.

This year will welcome a new venue, the Radio1 Heineken Silver Beach Club – a true beach club atmosphere with its own sun deck and comfortable lounge furniture. Radio1’s DJs will play sets from early afternoon until the main stage starts, then continue during breaks on the main stage and until dawn. Early risers can join techno yoga classes and the Splash Party by night – an evening swim in the lake after the main stage programme.

Balaton Sound will be “open” all day long, so something is going on at every time of the day and night. Other exciting activities might also include beach volleyball tournaments, a sunset SUP tour, a “Welcome to the House” dance workshop, international street theatre, a water amusement park, an outdoor gym, as well as a special kite flying and kite-making workshop.

Layton Giordani reveals inspiring new two-tracker ‘Phantom’ on Drumcode

The new two-tracker comes off the back of his collaboration with HI-LO ‘Rabbit Hole’ that nears 3M streams, and his most recent Drumcode EP ‘Life Moves Fast’, which was an early 2023 highlight.

The title track is a vibrant dancefloor trip, sometimes feeling more like a widescreen film soundtrack, such is Giordani‘s skill for crafting a thrilling dramaturgy, while always having a strong ear for strong, driving rhythms.

Alok kicks off his own show on Tomorrowland’s One World Radio

Every first Friday of the month, Brazilian superstar DJ & producer Alok will start hosting his own monthly residency ‘Alok Infinite Experience’, exclusively on Tomorrowland’s One World Radio.

The Brazilian star will take over Tomorrowland‘s official radio station between 21:00 and 22:00 CEST for a uniquely curated one-hour show, showcasing his favorite music of the moment, and giving listeners a taste of the tracks he likes to play in his sets.

When it comes to dance music, there are few bigger stars in Brazil than Alok, who will be spreading a dancefloor tested sound that is guaranteed to fuel the party for all the listeners and kick-start the weekend!

SummerDaze Malta unveils stellar lineup for its 2023 edition with MEDUZA, Paul Kalkbrenner and more

SummerDaze Malta is back with a bang for this year’s festival season, following what was a historic event in their books last year with performances from the likes of Sigala, MEDUZA, Elderbrook and more.

Changing the events landscape in Malta and bringing something unique, it has fast grown to be one of the leading events in the region. Now, they’ve finally unveiled their programming for their multiple events at Ta’ Qali National Park and beyond.

With 356 Entertainment as the brainchild behind SummerDaze Malta, the events giants have looked to take the event to the next level with each edition and iteration. Not only that, they have also been working hard to change the way Malta is viewed, turning it into a hot music destination for locals and international partygoers, bringing world renowned names to the archipelago.

Building it up to become Malta’s biggest annual festival, Trevor Camilleri, Gerald Debono and Nicholas Spiteri, the top leaders of 356 Entertainment, are ready for yet another huge edition.

On 15 & 18 August, SummerDaze Malta hosts their festival at Ta’ Qali National Park and it is perhaps one of their biggest lineups for both of the days in the festival’s history so far.

On 15 August, music fans of all genres can be treated to sets from headliners Black Eyed Peas, along with D-Block Europe, Farruko and Zara Larsson, with Charlie Hedges also joining the roster. On the flip side, you can catch Salmo, Elettra Lamborghini and Deejay Time (Albertino, Fargetta, Mollela and Prezioso), with Fred De Palma, Haddaway, Double You and VidaLoca adding the finishing touches to an explosive day of music on 18 August. If this wasn’t enough, SummerDaze is also putting on two special headlining events from two of the most prolific acts in electronic music.

On Sunday 13 August, MEDUZA makes a highly anticipated return to Malta with an unmissable pool-side DJ set at the Cafe Del Mar beach club, going well into the night. Following this, Paul Kalkbrenner lands in Malta with a set at Uno on 14 August together with BBC Radio 1 Dance X & Creamfields, supported by Layla Benitez and Arielle Free. Not a night to miss for fans of both Kalkbrenner and electronic music in general, this is set to be a fast selling event.
