NATHASSIA is back with another hard-hitting release ‘Guardian Angel’

DJ and music production sensation NATHASSIA is here with another hard-hitting release. The multicultural icon is ready to share ‘Guardian Angel’ her latest production via ArchangelUK. 

The artist known for her impressive releases that carry a wide array of musical and cultural influences and her powerful signature sound, has recently shared the hits ‘Lair (Special Tee & Andreas Fox Remix)’, ‘Bang The Drums (D-Licious mix) – Miami Special’, and revisited her popular track ‘Is Everybody Searching (DaaHype Remix)’, and while she’s not a stranger to the charts, having her music featured at the top of Beatport Dance charts; she continues to amaze by curating the most energetic mixes of her favorite EDM, Electro House, Bass House and Future House tracks for her weekly radio show ‘Goddess Is A DJ’, that now reaches radio stations in more than 30 countries.

Hï Ibiza announce its 2022 Closing Party with a stellar lineup!

It’s been a record-breaking season at Hï Ibiza but there is still time for the most anticipated event of the summer. Hï Ibiza’s unmissable closing party on Saturday 8th October brings together some of the club’s most iconic residents with a raft of global favourites. Tickets for this sure-to-sell-out event are available now and with Anfisa Letyago, ANNA, Damian Lazarus, Paco Osuna, Peggy Gou, SITA, Tale Of Us, The Martinez Brothers and Vintage Culture all lining-up, it’s set to be one of the standout events of the summer.

Hï Ibiza‘s Theatre plays host to Brazilian house wonder Vintage Culture, who brings his rolling basslines and emotive vocal sounds to the club for one final date this summer, after his much talked about debut residency. Fellow Hï Ibiza resident, Crosstown Rebels boss and electronic shaman Damian Lazarus, also stars, along with DJ, producer and label boss Peggy Gou. Melodic techno innovators Tale Of Us complete the Theatre lineup, rounding off another hugely successful season of their revered Afterlife residency, before boundlessly energetic New York pair The Martinez Brothers, who have truly made this room their own this summer, bring the season to a triumphant close.

Over in Hï Ibiza‘s Club room, catch Spanish techno star SITA and Italian selector Anfisa Letyago who mixes up groove-laden techno with powerful house on labels like Rekids and Hotflush. Add to that ANNA, who brings her trademark, heavy-hitting brand of techno to the Club, along with Spanish techno legend and Hï Ibiza resident Paco Osuna, who has had a truly fantastic season during his summer residency, and all roads lead to a stunning closing party.

Joris Voorn to unveil immersive audiovisual composition alongside Johana Kroft at ADE 2022

Dutch techno legend Joris Voorn partners up with Philips TV & Sound together with Czech artist Johana Kroft for a boundary-pushing ADE audiovisual experience. This truly immersive, standout exhibit invites attendees to explore the synergy between modern media formats, powered by the new and award-winning Philips Fidelio wireless AV system. Experience ADE from a brand new perspective with this enchanted experience at the Hotel de L’Europe on October 21 and 22.

Last year, Philips unveiled their deep listening exhibition with DJ and producer Patrice Bäumel, titled “Into Light.” Now, the consumer electronics company looks to push the envelope even further with the introduction of their “Living Room Sessions” to this year’s Amsterdam Dance Event – ADE 2022.

Visitors will have the chance to experience Joris Voorn and Johana Kroft‘s short-form and multidisciplinary collaborative work before the floor opens for an intimate Q&A with both artists on October 21st at 4:30 pm.

Emphasizing the power of the Philips Fidelio systems, attendees will also have the chance to explore the event’s whimsical, digital art gallery, featuring a curated cast of regional artists including Dutch artist Rik Oostenbroek, known for his dynamic forms & unique abstract shapes, and augmented reality artist Isabelle Udo.

Ushuaïa Ibiza‘s closing parties are world-renowned, bringing together world class artists, awe-inspiring production, and a party atmosphere like no other. This year’s final party promises to be one of the most unique and highly-anticipated closing party line-ups the island has ever seen, as the club’s iconic residency ANTS takes over the illustrious open-air club with a closing party to remember on Saturday 8th October.

ONE MORE dANTS is pulling out all the stops with a truly massive house and techno line-up, starting with GRAMMY Award-winning DJ and producer Black Coffee. This will be a rare chance to see the global Afro house pioneer perform outside of his longtime, hugely successful residency at Hï Ibiza. AMF celebrates 10th anniversary by adding Armin van Buuren, Martin Garrix, Tiësto and II=I (Afrojack b2b Nicky Romero) to its lineup

This year’s event is scheduled to take place on the 22nd of October during Amsterdam Dance Event. AMF is expected to welcome an astounding 35.000 people from over 120 different nationalities.

All tickets for the celebratory 10th edition of AMF have been sold out. The event takes pride in its hugely diverse audience, having sold about two thirds of the 35.000 to visitors from outside of the Netherlands. Over 120 different nationalities will be represented, perfectly embodying the unification that dance music stands for.

AMF 2022 will see performances by several of dance music’s biggest stars, including Armin van Buuren, Martin Garrix, Tiësto, Afrojack and Nicky Romero. As well as boasting a superstar line-up, AMF will play host to the annual DJ Mag Top 100 ceremony, revealing the world’s most popular DJ of the year.

Here’s what Allan Hardenberg, founder and CEO of ALDA, the production company behind AMF had to say about this year’s editon:

“With the upcoming edition of AMF being our tenth anniversary, this one is obviously extra special to us. Having sold out this far in advance is really the cherry on the cake, especially given the recent struggles within the event industry. We’ve always catered to a big international audience so it’s simply incredible to see the statistics of our ticket sales. So many people from so many different nationalities all united in a packed ArenA, we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate this milestone”

Over the past decade AMF has grown into the biggest event taking place during Amsterdam Dance Event. World-renowned for its stellar production, impressive location and unmatched line-ups, AMF is the place to be during the conference for the ones lucky enough to get their hands on a ticket. Across its ten editions AMF has seen performances from the world’s biggest acts, from Martin Garrix to Armin van Buuren and The Chainsmokers to Alesso. This year’s event will be a tribute to the decade’s great success, as well as a preview of what ALDA has in store for the future.

Whereas a line-up of these proportions is more than enough to make waves in the dance music scene, the annual DJ Mag Top 100 ceremony is sure to add fuel to the fire. The yearly unveiling of the world’s most popular DJ has amassed a cult-like following, each eager to find out if their favorite will take home the crown. Previously the list was topped by David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Armin van Buuren and Tiësto, the latter three of which are on AMF‘s 2022 line-up. The DJ Mag Top 100 has played a huge role in the crossing over of dance music into pop culture, many of its high performers are currently also regularly present in the pop charts.

The doors will open earlier than normal for a special warm-up set by none other than Afrojack‘s techno alias Kapuchon. A select part of the audience will be treated to an hour long set, which will also be streamed live on AMF.TV. During the 2020 digital edition, AMF.TV was watched around the world by a staggering 7 million people.

New 30 000-people BEON1X Open Mind Music Festival launches in Cyprus

BEON1X Open Mind Music Festival 2022 has been announced to become the largest electronic music festival on an island with its 30 000 visitors, and one of the biggest events of this autumn in Europe.

The festival will also be the first stage and the opening event of a unique international socio-cultural project soon be introduced in Cyprus, which is set to become one of the largest art clusters in the world.

The return of festivals and live events is driven home by the launch of BEON1X Open Mind Music Festival, a brand-new electronic music festival, which will be held in Larnaca, Cyprus from 23rd – 25th September and 30th September to 2nd October.

The festival boasts a world class line-up, including over 40 names: Carl Cox, Boris Brejcha, Jamie Jones, Luciano, Paul Kalkbrenner live, Guy Gerber, Satori live, Sasha & Digweed, Sven Väth, Deborah De Luca, Chelina Manuhutu, Fatima Hajji, Guy J and others. Each of the selected tracks and sessions at the festival offer sounds from every corner of the world, as well as a reconnection with live music after two years of the pandemic.

Organizers promise over 20 000 m2 of the dance floor and stages, located right by the sea in CTO beach, Pyla, 11 km from Larnaca. City of Larnaca itself is rich with a history and culture. Open Mind Music Festival is meant to become a starting point for a large scale BEON1X Art-Cluster – a unique international socio-cultural project, organized by representatives of the international business and IT communities who have based themselves in Cyprus.

The goal of the project is to create a new and completely unique location in Cyprus, the European ‘Island of Freedom’, which will become Europe’s largest art cluster, will be located at the crossroads of several continents, and will attract people from all over the world, combining the best in music, art, and ecology, mixed with the values of humanity, aimed at delivering real positive transformation.

The delivery of the BEON1X project will be phased over a period of three years from 2022 to 2025. During this time, the art cluster will become one of the world’s largest socio-cultural hubs.

Wild & Kins release their brand new track ‘Rivers’

Wild & Kins release the first single from their long-awaited album and directly zap a driving club track full of energy. The two artists are following their passion for producing and playing out tasty electronic music since 2009.

Nicolas & Christian out of Montabaur (Germany) are connecting groovy house sounds to a crispy kicking bassline, combined with harmonic melodies and colorful percussions.

They spread their “sweet sound” over the years at clubs and festivals and are now back with their latest coup “Rivers“. No question – the fresh and infectious vibe of the single already reveals a little of the high quality of the long-awaited album that’s set for a release soon on “Sweet Music“.

Josh Richards releases brand new track ‘Que Sera’ incl. El Mundo & Zazou remix

Flow Music continues to dazzle with another fresh release from its record label, which five releases in, has already featured music from iconic artists such as Super Flu and Dave Seaman.

Based in Australia, the imprint often focuses on home-grown Aussie talent that it wants to present to the world and invites influential artists to put their stamp on releases in the form of a remix.

This latest release follows that same formula and presents the debut release from Melbourne based Josh Richards who makes his first ever release with a track called “Que Sera“. The original is complimented with a collaborative remix from Berlin based organic house artists El Mundo & Zazou.

A young artist still in his early 20s, Josh Richards‘ sound has a maturity that takes most artists decades of releases to achieve. He is a raw talent whose refined sound shows a depth, warmth and attention to detail. Fusing uplifting, melodic tones and an epic bassline with sensual vocal textures, Que Sera is a piece of music that moves the mind body and soul.

El Mundo & Zazou are known for their joint productions on record labels including Kindisch and Do Not Sit, but they are also individual talents boasting separate achievements. El Mundo for example is known for his releases on Crosstown Rebels and collaborations with Satori, while Zazou has also worked with the likes of Just Emma.

Their remix of Que Sera is true to the original as it leaves the bassline and vocal chants as the core elements, but adds piano chords and a refined structure that unfolds more gradually to keep the listener on tenterhooks. This refined version is perfect for DJ sets and it’s hard to pick a favorite between the release’s two tracks.
