elrow presents a brand new collaboration with Ron English

DellusionVille will be elrow’s new immersive experience. Ron English and elrow will represent a particular vision of the universe through avant-garde art and electronic music. The artist’s particular style and extraordinary interpretation of the most radical, satirical and humorous art will be reflected in this journey into pop art culture on elrow CLOSING PARTY – October 1, 2022, at Amnesia Ibiza.

As the world turns, the cultural and entertainment industry is generating new and surprising ideas to surprise and satisfy the desires of dance music lovers. In order to respond to this call, elrow joins forces with the American artist Ron English to offer, on Saturday, October 1, at Amnesia Ibiza, an unrepeatable show in which avant-garde art and electronic music mix with the idea to provide a show never seen before and in which the public is an active part of the work.

“At elrow, we are fascinated by creative, visionary and daring minds. We are always working on breaking the limits of our shows. Now we want to impress our fans again, no more and no less, with a tailor-made collaboration with Ron English, the “godfather of Street Art””, adds Juan Arnau.

Ron English is one of the most influential street artists of all time. Born in Illinois (USA) and living in New York, his unique universe has inspired urban artists worldwide. Ron‘s work includes bizarre and surreal characters ranging from three-eyed rabbits to crazy clowns, featuring references from pop culture, the advertising industry, and cartoons where you’ll recognize plenty of famous icons from Western culture.

“In this project, we immersed ourselves in Ron’s limitless imagination to create together a concept that will be unlike anything you’ve seen before,” says elrow founder Juan Arnau, who proposes us to be fun and irreverent on a magical date.

For this project, Ron‘s universe moves to one of the most legendary clubs on the white island, Amnesia Ibiza, hand in hand with an entertainment company and accompanied by one of the most internationally renowned artists, such as the British Norman Quentin Cook, better known as Fat Boy Slim.

Together with Cook, Eats Everything, Bastian Bux, Tini Gessler and Kölsch will be in charge of drawing a soundscape according to a surreal, chaotic and multisensory set design.

The theme debut is Dellusionville and will be a live reinterpretation of the famous POPaganda art movement, the fruit of the imagination of the well-known “godfather of street art”, Ron English.

“I think life is more exciting if you do things your way, even if it’s not in the way or in the order that everyone expects,” explains Ron English of Dellusionville‘s leitmotif. This theme is an itinerant initiative that will travel, making stops in the main world capitals of culture and entertainment.

Ron English has spent more than 30 years working at Dellusionville and elrow would love to honour this incredible work in the closing party on October 1st at Amnesia Ibiza.

KH unveils official ‘Looking At Your Pager’ remix by Solomun

Solomun

Acclaimed electronic DJ and producer Four Tet releases the first official remix for his latest KH single ‘Looking At Your Pager’ by Solomun via Ministry Of Sound.

In May, Four Tet returned to his KH moniker to release ‘Looking At Your Pager’, his first KH release since 2019’s ‘Only Human’. Sampling 3LW’s 2000 hit ‘No More (Baby I’ma Do Right)’, ‘Looking At Your Pager’ received praise from NPR, Pitchfork, Billboard, The Fader, and more for the unique duality of its modern club-oriented production and throwback R&B sample.

Adored by DJs both before and after its official release, ‘Looking At Your Pager’ has been heard on festival stages throughout the summer. Supported by the likes of Fred again.., Skrillex, Floating Points, Peggy Gou, and more, ‘Looking At Your Pager’ has quickly become one of the most iconic electronic tracks of the year.

Following the success of the original, KH now looks to Bosnian-German DJ and producer Solomun. Solomun’s remix is a mind-blowing hypnotic breakdown of driving kicks and deep bouncing synths.

Regarding his remix, Solomun said, “Really love Kieran’s admirable work. I used to play the original before, so it was a lot of fun for me to make a remix of it.”

FLOW MUSIC proudly presents ‘Beyond Sound’, a short film about Berlin’s rich clubbing scene

The short film – Beyond Sound – draws a line between being a DJ and dealing with elementary life setbacks. The German DJs Heimlich Knüller and Madmotormiquel take us through their lives as Producers and DJs in Berlin.

They dive deep into the beginnings of one of the biggest festivals “Fusion” and open the door into Berlin’s famous club culture. Where club culture was born, why festivals influenced the club scene in Berlin and how it feels to grow old in that industry. The portrait was produced right before Coronavirus hit the world.

Beyond Sound is presented by Flow Music. Flow Music, based in Australia, has supported the international electronic music scene from the very beginning as a label, media platform and podcast channel. There is also a close connection to the artist and film-maker Leonie Gerner as well as the film protagonists Heimlich Knüller and Madmotormiquel.

Here’s what Leonie Gerner had to say about Beyond Sound:

“The realization of this film was done in cooperation with a strong team that took a lot of time to make this film what it is. First and foremost Anselm, who was responsible for the editing. With this short portrait, I wanted above all to show the people behind the profession of DJ – without inflating the stories or presenting them as something other than what they are. What does it mean to be a DJ and producer in Berlin – what kind of lifestyle do you enter into, how long can you practice this profession?

When this short film was made, there was no talk of Corona – shortly afterwards, the entire art and cultural landscape went quiet. An interesting look at a time just before the standstill – of which we were not aware at the time. A look through the keyhole of the Berlin night.”

Carlita displays her prolific artistry with announcement of forthcoming Cercle set

Carlita has been turning heads – and for an excellent reason. Now based out of New York City, the Turkish-Italian artist is a classically trained multi-instrumentalist who is part of the underground’s most elite circles. She’s renowned for playing unique stages internationally; from Burning Man to Tesla’s Giga Factory opening and more. This summer, she’s turned up the heat with her project by getting her hands on numerous impressive ventures.

On September 5th, Carlita will be traveling to the mythical Cinecittà Studios in Rome, Italy, to film an esteemed Cercle Set. The Cinecittà Studios, often called “La fabbrica dei sogni” ( “Dream Factory”) will be the backdrop to her performance. Over 3,000 films have been shot at Cinecittà in its 80+ year history and at least 51 of them have won Academy Awards.

The co-sign from Cercle is certainly an admirable accolade for any DJ, and Carlita is thrilled to rise to the occasion and bring her worldly and eclectic sound to the Cercle family.

Earlier this month, her official remix of RÜFÜS DU SOL’s track “See You Again” was released as a part of their ‘SURRENDER REMIXES’ album, alongside remixing artists like Adriatique, Colyn, Dom Dolla, and more. This stamp of support from the Grammy-winning band exposes to her a massive amount of mainstream dance fans, while giving her a noble opportunity to share her artistry far and wide. Her remix can be heard here.

Coinciding with New York Fashion Week, Carlita will present her own multisensory high-fashion concept party called Senza Fine. The party aims to blur the boundaries between genres of music, people, design, and experience – attendees will be immersed in a boundless celebration of the senses through the use of colored haze, lighting, fragrance, and curation of architectural design.

Merging fashion and music, world-renowned creative director, designer, and DJ Heron Preston will be gracing the decks of Senza Fine. Preston gained global recognition when he founded his namesake label in 2016 and has since collaborated with some of fashion’s biggest names, such as Virgil Abloh, Calvin Klein, and BAPE.

Preston is joined by fellow designer and face of YSL Beauty Agathe Mougin, as well as former NBA star turned DJ/producer Rony Seikaly, Dutch brothers Parallels, London’s very own Xander and Fede, Cairo-based Gawdat, and Lisbon’s Cole Trickle. Tickets are available here.

These three moments are just a few of the grand bits coming from the Carlita project now and to come. Watch this space for forthcoming details about Carlita’s upcoming releases – which are impressive, to say the least.

Reinier Zonneveld reigns as Techno royalty after sold out 11 hour Live NOW Festival performance

World-renowned Techno DJ and producer Reinier Zonneveld has completed the inaugural edition of his Live NOW Festival, raising the bar on the techno industry at large with a dominating 11 hour marathon performance.

A legendary show that’s been in the works for years, Live NOW Festival took place at Hembrugterrein on the outskirts of Amsterdam, injecting the beautifully dilapidated grounds with the Dutch techno titan’s spirited sounds.

By playing around the clock with his full personal studio on stage, Reinier Zonneveld highlighted exactly why he sits at the forefront of techno. Over 11 wild hours, fans were treated to everything from nostalgic rave classics to spur of the moment improvisation, lush with vibrant live synth work and moments of blisteringly fast beats.

Here’s what Reinier Zonneveld had to say:

It’s not often I can perform for 11 hours in a row. At a festival, DJs usually only get a one-hour slot, which doesn’t always give me the opportunity to play certain tracks. When you can play for 11 hours, you get the chance to take a full journey through the music.

That’s why I decided to create my own festival experience. I am extremely grateful to everyone who believed in the concept and to all the fans who bought tickets. Live NOW was completely sold out and it was great to pop together with 12,500 visitors.”

With Live NOW Festival now in the rear view mirror, Reinier Zonneveld is taking his sound back on the road, with upcoming dates across Europe, as well as a performances across the US.

David Guetta & Bebe Rexha link up on hotly anticipated viral single ‘I’m Good (Blue)’

Global superstars David Guetta and Bebe Rexha join forces on anticipated new single ‘I’m Good (Blue)’.

Already a TikTok smash, the sound has amassed 130,000 total creations and over 500 million views, as well as being a hit with YouTube recreations. Rexha and Guetta first began working on this song five years ago, and after generating this serious online buzz it is finally now ready for an official release.

The only DJ to have two residencies in Ibiza this season, the legendary ‘F*** Me I’m Famous’ party is underway on Mondays at Ushuaïa, where last month Armin Van Buuren joined Guetta onstage for a showstopping B2B set. His Future Rave residency with MORTEN is also taking place on Fridays at , fresh off the back of a sold out US tour.

Diamond-certified and Grammy-nominated pop superstar Bebe Rexha propelled herself into the spotlight with her platinum-certified debut album Expectations in 2018, which featured smash hit ‘I’m a Mess’ and the diamond-certified single ‘Meant to Be’ featuring Florida Georgia Line, which remained on top of the Billboard Hot Country Songs for a record-setting 50 consecutive weeks, making it the longest reign ever by a female lead artist.

Not stopping there, Bebe has received two Grammy nominations (“Best Country Duo/Group Performance” and “Best New Artist”) to date, has surpassed 4 billion YouTube views and more than 12 billion total global streams and counting. Her sophomore album Better Mistakes, released last May, includes the continuously rising dance anthem ‘Sacrifice’.
