Andy’s Echo releases his first single “Fire” on Katermukke with a thrilling remix by label boss Dirty Doering

‚Fire’ is the name of Andy’s Echo first Katermukke release. The super energetic and smartly tinkered track is perfectly coming together from pan traveling arpeggios, rough picked guitar strings and the rattling bassline.

As a contrast does Andy‘s voice now and then subtly fade in. The cherry on top for this release is the included Dirty Doering remix. With his remix he puts even more emphasis an edgy banging bassline.

On the other hand more space for the vocals is open up and all in all an emotive but spaced out wave sound is created.

Armin van Buuren teams up with Billen Ted and JC Stewart on ‘Come Around Again’

While recent tracks such as ‘Human Touch’ (with Sam Gray) and ‘Love We Lost’ (with R3HAB, feat. Simon Ward) are still on everyone’s lips, electronic music icon Armin van Buuren is already stepping up again with a collab of considerable magnitude.

A joint effort with London-based, platinum-selling production duo Billen Ted and globally renowned singer-songwriter JC Stewart, ‘Come Around Again‘ comes with a bespoke music video and could very well be the Grammy-nominated Dutchman’s biggest hit of the running year.

Come Around Again‘ was premiered two weeks ago by Armin van Buuren, Billen Ted and JC Stewart at Ultra Music Festival in Miami and flaunts their knack for writing songs that could rule charts.

The song’s official music video, which syncs the track’s resonating lyrics and innate club appeal with striking visuals, was also shot in Miami and will be premiered via YouTube on Saturday, April 9 at 1 p.m. (CEST). After the premiere, Youtube Premium users will get exclusive access to a YouTube afterparty session in which Armin van Buuren and JC Stewart discuss their collaboration.

What I like so much about ‘Come Around Again’ is that it has a little bit of everything”, Armin van Buuren says.

“It has the drive it needs to energize dance floors and also has the lyrical depth and poppy hook to make due on radio and in playlists. I’m super happy with this collab and loved working with Billen Ted and JC Stewart. They really inspired me in the studio!

We loved working on ‘Come Around Again’ with Armin and JC“, Billen Ted add.

We premiered it at Ultra and it went off, so we’re looking forward to having it out in the world.

From writing it in a beautiful house in Cornwall to debuting it on the Ultra Miami main stage, working with Armin and Billen Ted on ‘Come Around Again’ has already been a dream come true“, JC Stewart says.

I can’t wait to see people dancing to it all summer!

Reflek & Cammie Robinson work each other out on the devotion of ‘Read My Mind’

The ultimate exhibition of bittersweet dance, vocalist Cammie Robinson attempts to work out the innermost thoughts of Italian producer Reflek. Out of pensive guitar strums moodily staring from the shore, and lyrics tinged with pain and trying not to let the situation slip through its fingers, the innocence of their Be Yourself Music collaboration ‘Read My Mind’ surprises with its weighty pads and relatively bouncy outlook.

From these longing looks and emotions that readily flow while keeping their composure, comes a chorus guaranteed to be chanted back by audiences at volume.

2022 promises to be the year where Reflek starts running the show; regularly scaling Beatport charts and checking in with labels at the top of their game (Drumcode, Crosstown Rebels, Defected, Toolroom), Reflek has gone down a storm in Australia, adding high profile remix credits and reactivating a label collecting the cream of dance and electronica to a busy schedule – all of which he makes look effortless as a multitasking man on a mission.

Cammie Robinson (“her voice is magical” – Reflek) keeps good company in terms of reputation, a Spotify supernova giving extra props to works across genres from Flux Pavilion, J Majik and Martin Garrix’s STMPD label, on top of appearances for Ultra, Dimmak and Circus; not to mention the big boys of Sony, Universal and Warner.

Well equipped to accompany screen dramas where love and lust provide an awkward narrative, ‘Read My Mind’ is the soundtrack for make ups and breaks up as passions play out across the dancefloor.
