BURNR Strikes Again With ‘Shake It In The Mirror’

The Dutch super-talented DJ and producer BURNR, perfects his Polaroid picture party look with funky, bumpy house unlocking a series of frenzied synth shots to the hip as he goes.

Rap lyrics encouraging booty bounce add sauce to the ‘Shake’, but the ‘bout-to-blow BURNR refuses to settle into the straight up groove; mega builds and a breakdown of white hot keys take the track down a left turn, so the already sweaty, hoover-enhanced atmosphere becomes one that’ll bake your brain as well as your body. Housework that’ll hurt ‘em.

Frigid releases a fresh new EP ‘Memories Like Daggers’

Frigid releases a fresh new EP and kick starts his new year filled with new collaborations, music, live performances and projects. The talented and uncompromising artist brings ‘Memories Like Daggers’ to life, after releasing the title track as a sneak peek into his sound earlier this year, he now introduces a 4 track EP for everyone to enjoy.

The artist explores urban sounds and creates this new palette of elements that conjugate perfectly on the EP. It opens up with ‘Flashback (Intro)’ a short dark and eerie track that conjugates industrial and enigmatic sounds to kickstart the journey.

The title track, ‘Memories Like Daggers’ surely grabbed the attention of a long list of listeners, with a dark beat influenced by trap and dubstep, a splash of smaller percussive elements like bells and chimes that create a nostalgic and mysterious feeling, the song evolves while with filtered and processed synths, bass and layers of acid textures maintain the vibe.

Then the EP moves to ‘Tell Me I’m Dreaming’, with another heavy and energetic dubstep beat, this track relies on a dark vigorous bass that plays with the kick and lower end sounds. Processed chopped vocals and enveloped synths go back and forth guiding the experience.

Finally, the last track on the album is ‘The Apparition’. A wobbly bass, dark dubstep beat and growling synths support a heavy darker vibe, while processed vocal elements and crisp smaller pads and synths bring some light to the darkness. This track gives the listener a ticket to a journey within.

Dubstep lovers and lovers of a more urban sound will find in ‘Memories Like Daggers’ an interesting yet introspective experience. As Frigid claims his space as an ever-exploring artist, be sure not to miss his latest music, projects and live performances, as well as future collaborations with talented artists, because he’ll surely not disappoint.

DJ Turntables: What Professional DJs Use and How Much Does it Cost

Do you want to be a professional DJ? If so, you’re going to need some quality equipment. Today we will focus on the professional DJ turntables and their importance. In this article, we will talk about what turntables are and will also take a look at the Pioneer DJ turntables that are used by professional DJs all around the world.

We will also discuss how much the best DJ turntables cost and what features they offer. So if you’re serious about becoming a professional DJ, then make sure to read this blog post!

What are DJ turntables and what do they do?

DJ turntables are a type of phonograph that are used by disc jockeys to mix and scratch records. They allow for more creative control and can be used to create more complex sound effects.

DJ turntables consist of two platters, or turntables, that the DJ uses to manipulate the playback of records. The platters are connected to a motor that allows them to spin at different speeds, and they also have a brake that can be used to stop them quickly. There is a needle on each platter that reads the grooves in the record and sends an electrical signal to the amplifier.

The DJ can use various techniques to create sound effects, such as scratching and back spinning.

The different types of DJ turntables and what each is best for

There are three main types of DJ turntables – direct drive, belt drive, and idler wheel. Each has its own benefits and drawbacks.

Direct drive turntables are the most popular type. They offer good torque (the ability to start and stop quickly) and they’re very reliable. However, they can be a bit noisy.

Belt drive turntables are quieter than direct drive turntables, but they don’t offer as much torque. They’re also less reliable than direct drives.

Idler wheel turntables are the oldest type of DJ turntable and they’re the least popular type today. They offer the best torque of all three types, but they’re also the least reliable.

How much do professional DJ turntables cost and where can they be bought

If you’re looking to get started in the world of professional DJing, you’ll need to invest in a quality set of turntables. But how much should you expect to spend, and where’s the best place to buy them?

Prices for professional DJ turntables can vary widely, depending on the make and model. entry-level models may cost as little as $1000, while top-of-the-line decks can easily exceed $5000.

You can buy them from DJ equipment stores, music stores, or online retailers. Generally speaking, the higher end the turntable, the more features it will have and the more expensive it will be. Of course, you don’t need to spend a lot of money to get a good quality turntable – there are plenty of mid-range options out there that will do the trick perfectly well. It really all comes down to personal preference and what you’re looking for in a turntable.

The features to look for when purchasing DJ turntables

When purchasing the best DJ turntables for your needs, you want to make sure that you look for the following features:

-A direct drive motor – This will ensure that the platters on the turntables spin at a consistent speed and that there is minimal wow and flutter.
-A pitch control – This will allow you to adjust the speed of the music without affecting its key.
-Start/stop buttons – These buttons will allow you to start and stop playback with ease.
-USB connectivity – This will allow you to easily connect your turntables to your computer and use DJ software.
-RCA outputs – These will allow you to connect your turntables to a mixer or amplifier.

Pioneer PLX-1000 Direct Drive Scratch DJ Turntable

If you’re looking for a high-quality DJ turntable that gives you the ability to scratch and mix like a pro, the Pioneer PLX-1000 is worth considering. This direct drive turntable is built like a tank and delivers amazing sound quality. It’s also very easy to use, making it perfect for both beginner and experienced DJs alike.

So if you’re in the market for a new DJ turntable, the Pioneer PLX-1000 should definitely be at the top of your list.

Pioneer PLX-500 Direct Drive Scratch DJ Turntable

The Pioneer PLX-500 is a great scratch DJ turntable because it has a direct drive motor, which means that the platter (where the record is placed) is driven directly by the motor, as opposed to being belt-driven. This results in more accurate speed control and less wow and flutter (sound distortion). The PLX-500 also has a high torque motor, which means that it can start up quickly and handle heavy scratching without skipping.
