Sam Feldt and David Solomon team up on “Future In Your Hands” feat. Aloe Blacc

DJ/Producers Sam Feldt and David Solomon team up for an uplifting, end-of-summer single, “Future In Your Hands” feat. Aloe Blacc.

The track features a stunning vocal performance by Grammy-nominated singer Aloe Blacc, well known for his globally charting singles “Wake Me Up” and “The Man.” Solomon has rapidly built a reputation for delivering quality dance music, and this collaboration between him and the multi-platinum Feldt is the perfect way to cap off a celebration-filled summer.

The organic instrumentation highlights Aloe‘s instantly recognizable vocal, as he delivers the emotional message of timeless love, “Don’t let go of me … cause you might have the future in your hands.” His signature delivery culminates in an ear-catching, head-swaying drop, punctuated by a real horn section. The melodic hook delivers an emotional and unforgettable anthem that will stand the test of time.

Future In Your Hands” marks the first release from the upcoming Payback Records Positively Mental compilation, a collection of original singles from global dance artists, which will support charities at the forefront of mental health support and advocacy.

“Future In Your Hands is a quintessential Sam Feldt song: uplifting, positive, and with the collaboration with Payback Records also impact-making. When David Solomon approached me with the idea to do this song, I immediately loved it.

Through my Heartfeldt Foundation, I’ve been leaving my mark on the world for many years now, and this track for charity is a great extension of that. Aloe featuring on the song is a dream come true for me since he has such an iconic and uplifting voice that fits the vibe, the lyrics, and the whole track perfectly!” Feldt says.

Solomon adds, “I struck up a friendship with Aloe several years ago, and when we played an early version of the song for Sam, he loved its message and mission. He reworked it and brought his signature sound, and now the instrumentation perfectly highlights Aloe’s emotional vocal, alongside a unique horn drop – it’s a great song for late summer.”

“When I met Sam Feldt a while back, we both knew that a collaboration was definitely in order. Making this dream a reality along with David Solomon and Payback Records is an awesome opportunity to do something good for humanity beyond offering a new song to dance to. I love this song and I know it is for everyone, especially those who are looking for a good partner in life. The message is that we should all take a chance on love because it might lead to an amazing future of companionship,” Blacc comments.

“Future In Your Hands” feat. Aloe Blacc is out now on Payback Records/Big Beat/Atlantic Records.

Deniz Koyu is revealing his brand-new dance weapon ‘Clicks’ on Tomorrowland Music

Turkish-German DJ & producer Deniz Koyu is revealing his brand-new dance weapon ‘Clicks’, released through Tomorrowland Music!

Clicks‘ kicks off with luscious vocals and comes in the shape of a groovy record with tension rising throughout the entire tune, while the drop features an eye-opening synth that tingles the brain just right… Dance music veteran Deniz Koyu is joining forces with Swedish singer Elliphant, showcasing a beautiful diversity of compelling sounds.

Clicks‘ is part of a collection of festival releases by Tomorrowland Music under this year’s festival theme ‘The Reflection of Love‘, celebrating the return of Tomorrowland after three years by gathering some of the biggest artists in electronic music on Tomorrowland‘s record imprint.

Here’s what Deniz Koyu had to say about the track:

“I’ve been a fan of Elliphant for a long time, so I got really excited when she sent me this vocal hook idea. Since the theme is about creating clicks, I wanted the song to be a percussive club banger with a lot of groove and a beat that feels precisely put together, kind of like clockwork.”

Deniz Koyu performed at the Rose Garden at Tomorrowland during the third festival weekend on Sunday July 31, while Swedish superstar Alesso played ‘Clicks‘ as his intro in his special ‘Alesso presents Eclipse’ show at the Freedom stage during the second weekend of Tomorrowland.

‘Clicks’ is out now via all platforms.

St.Sinny Drops Dark House-Heavy Release ‘The Game’ Perfect For Post-Midnight Club Atmosphere

Boasting a powerful, confidence inducing hip-hop vocal alongside a dark and dirty house beat, St.Sinny shows his colors unmercifully in the release of “The Game.” Fast-paced, four-on the-floor rhythms lay the groundwork for the dotted, piercing bass lines that strike with a vengeance. The heavily-vocaded, low-toned vocals slide on time and enhance the ghostly, intoxicating darkness that the single emmerses the listener in.

The Game,” showcases the evolution and development this artist has rendered for himself after taking producing more seriously for just over a year now. His debut was the original “H.E.R,” then came “LeftRight,” now his junior song “The Game,” marks a moment where his style/signature sound is becoming more pronounced.

The man has a clear knack for house music, each production showing a positive step forward in some way, shape, or form. He’s been a DJ for years, but now immersing himself on the production side, accelerating the scale and scope of his career.

Hailing from Chicago and determined to bring his vision to life, St. Sinny is getting into the weeds of a project that is the forefront focus of his life.

Sébastien Léger returns to All Day I Dream to release his ‘Regina Blue’ EP

Today, modular synth expert and electronic music pioneer Sébastien Léger returns to All Day I Dream to release his ‘Regina Blue’ EP, ahead of his much anticipated performance at ‘All Day I Dream Of Endless Summer’ at the Brooklyn Mirage on September 18.

A longtime All Day I Dream family member, Sébastien first joined the label in 2018, releasing his esteemed ‘Lost Miracle‘ EP. Since then, Sébastien has been a consistent contributor to the label and performer at ADID events across the globe- making him a staple of All Day I Dream’s musical identity.

He has released four EPs on the label prior to ‘Regina Blue’, and has participated in multiple All Day I Dream compilations. Sébastien’s most recent All Day I Dream EP, ‘Feel‘, which includes hit tracks ‘Feel‘ and ‘Son of Sun‘, was released to much acclaim in 2021, leaving fans eager for his return to the label.

The ‘Regina Blue‘ EP offers three originals, which showcase Sébastien Léger‘s production talent and emotive range. The EP begins with the title track, where Sébastien takes his time building the percussion-led rhythm, before bringing in joyous melodic elements through powerful synth riffs.

On the B-side of the record, ‘We Used to Laugh‘ kicks off with optimistic, fluttering synths around crisp percussion. As the track progresses, listeners are taken on a journey as Sébastien’s harmonies evokes a deep emotional response. Finally, the EP concludes with ‘The Indian Gate‘, an energetic, rhythm-fueled track featuring filtered chanting over a funk driven beat.

For those following All Day I Dream’s world tour this summer, it will come as no surprise that Sébastien is back with a new release on the label. Sébastien Léger has joined Lee Burridge at many of ADID’s recent events, performing at the All Day I Dream Festival in Northern California, as well as events in London, Denver, and Ibiza, where IDs from this record have been played for months. If you haven’t gotten a chance to catch Sébastien Léger perform on the All Day I Dream 2022 World Tour yet, don’t worry, there are still three more opportunities!

Sébastien is playing ‘All Day I Dream Of Ibiza Allure‘ September 8, ‘All Day I Dream Of Mykonos‘ September 15, and ‘All Day I Dream Of Endless Summer‘ at the Brooklyn Mirage on September 18, where the ADID World Tour 2022 will come to a close.

Yotto constructs a stunning soundscape on his remix of Vintage Culture and Goodboys’ track, “This Feeling,”

Finnish producer Yotto constructs a stunning soundscape on his remix of Vintage Culture and Goodboy’s smash single, “This Feeling,” arriving courtesy of Insomniac Records.

Honoring his reputation as one of the most respected groove technicians on the market, Yotto works his magic to take “This Feeling” on an incredible journey. The euphoric vocal—originally laid down by Grammy-winning duo Goodboys—still lands with the same show-stopping impact.

However, Yotto finds a way to double down on the inherent charm of the track’s ephemeral nature. He weaves through a maze of polyrhythmic layers, shouldering the repeated refrains with a lightheaded arrangement of propelling elements. Epic risers, swelling pads, spellbinding arpeggiations, sustained chords, thudding kicks, crisp hats, sharp claps, and choral harmonics each play their part in making the state of bliss seem never-ending, as the track ebbs and flows into the heart of those fateful, fleeting moments.

Back in April, the Brazilian house phenom Vintage Culture captured lightning in a bottle when he joined forces with the mighty production pair and singing sensations, Goodboys. The festival-approved collaboration sets itself apart by encapsulating the bittersweet emotions when an unforgettable night out reaches its inevitable end. It has become a statement piece within the sets of tastemakers around the globe, drawing support from Tiësto, Valentino Khan, Martin Garrix, Oliver Heldens, Armin van Buuren, Wax Motif, Afrojack, and every other artist known for carrying crowds up to cloud nine.

Otto Yliperttula is an outlier in his field. Operating under the guise of Yotto, the Helsinki-based electronic music producer has found success up and down the dance music spectrum with one of the most impressive ranges in the scene. From the club-focused masterpieces filling out his prolific discography to his recent thought-provoking ambient-inspired album ‘Erased Dreams,’ there appears to be nothing holding back the Odd One Out label-boss. For that reason, the remix requests continue to flood his inbox, having been commissioned by colossal talents from the likes of Orbital, RÜFÜS DU SOL, Gorillaz, Diplo, Faithless, Joris Voorn, Coldplay, and beyond.

Yotto‘s exceptional remix skills are on full display with his take of “This Feeling,” allowing partygoers to live in the moment a little while longer.

Jeff Mills accompanies ‘Dr. Mabuse, The Gambler I’ live at UFA Film Nights Berlin

Jeff Mills has composed a new score for „Dr. Mabuse, The Gambler I” (Fritz Lang, 1921/22) which will premiere live at this year’s UFA Film Nights in Berlin on August 25th, 2022.

Following his acclaimed performances at the UFA Film Nights 2017 with „Metropolis” and 2019 with „Woman In the Moon“, Jeff Mills is back in Berlin for this very special open air special film event running from August 24th – 26th.

For those who can’t join in person, the live stream starts with the film screening on August 25th, 9pm CET and stays online for 24hrs HERE!

Dr. Mabuse (Rudolf Klein-Rogge) is a man with many different faces and identities. He has secret papers stolen and manipulates the course of the stock market. He masquerades as a reputable scientist and sets his mistress, the dancer Cara Carozza (Aud Egede-Nissen), on the young millionaire Hull (Paul Richter), hypnotizing him and taking a fortune from him at cards.

Through Hull, prosecutor von Wenk (Bernhard Goetzke) gets on Mabuse’s trail. Mabuse tries to hypnotize von Wenk at the gambling table as well, but the prosecutor manages to resist the enigmatic doctor’s magical powers. Soon afterwards, he narrowly escapes an assassination attempt by Mabuse. A large-scale police operation against Mabuse fails to capture him. The public authorities seem to be powerless against the criminal mastermind who, hiding behind the mask of a dignified citizen, places himself above law and order.

Based on the bestseller of the same name by Norbert Jacques (1880-1954), Fritz Lang‘s two-part movie paints a social panorama of the early 20st century, covering a wide range of themes that defined the zeitgeist of the time, such as acceleration, financial crisis, parapsychology, white-collar crime, and the quest for world domination and other conspiracy theories.

A film with unmistakable references to the present of the 21st century. Tickets are available via the link.

Nicole Moudaber returns to Beirut for special charity show

Nicole Moudaber

This month marks two years since the catastrophic explosion in Beirut that affected hundreds of thousands of people, devastating a country that was already suffering the consequences of one of the biggest health and economic crises the modern world has seen.

One of the first at the helm of the initial disaster relief fundraisers, Nicole Moudaber is set to make a poignant return to Lebanon to continue her fundraising efforts, performing at Factory People‘s AHM club on Saturday 27th August.

Waiving her fee for the night, Nicole will be taking to the decks of the previously demolished venue on Beirut’s waterfront to help breathe life back into the shattered nightlife community, and shed a light on the ongoing struggle that the people of Beirut are faced with since the explosion. Teaming up with Factory People, part of the profits from the evening will go to the vital work provided by the Agonista Cafe across Lebanon.

A pivotal figure in Beirut’s electronic music scene, Moudaber was passionate about emulating the UK 90s club culture back home, and was responsible for bringing a wide range of international DJs to the capital to play for the first time. An integral part of the burgeoning nightlife scene, Nicole‘s role as promoter of these revolutionary parties during a period of oppression and occupation, saw her make headline news and even come under police scrutiny. Be it through her work as a promoter, her role as DJ or her philanthropic endeavours, Moudaber‘s impact on Beirut’s nightlife culture is still very much felt to this day.

“After two years of closure, we were able to bring back AHM as an event space in May of this year. This wouldn’t have been made possible without the contribution of all our fans and supporters from around the world, that also includes artists like Nicole. Nicole has been part of the Factory People family for over a decade, where she has played at most of our venues, while her invaluable support to raise funds via live streams right after the explosion helped not just the industry but the country itself.

We are proud that our team has been able to persist and ensure that a place that was destroyed two years ago is brought back to life, and we can create more memories with fantastic artists like Nicole again” Jade, Factory People
