Checo releases captivating single ‘Palo Santo’ (feat. The Magic Mullet)

Miami based electronic producer Checo releases his new single “Palo Santo”, an anthemic piano deep house track. The single features the smooth and catchy vocals from The Magic Mullet, self proclaimed due to his incredible mullet hair trait.

The Magic Mullet is a Web 3/NFT native artist from the Doodle’s NFT community, primarily releasing content and music purposefully delivered to that community but now switching to more traditional social streaming platforms. With breaks and builds that keep you hooked throughout, the song can bring a smile and danceability for listeners at all times, or give one the feeling of jumping in a pool or cruising down the highway with your friends. ‘Palo Santo’ is a song that combines emotive lyrics and a very strong piano presence to deliver the hit we all needed for the end of Summer.

There have been a lot of teasers with this release and so we are very excited to see how this track performs given both fanbases are anxiously waiting for this single to drop. Here we can expect a portion of the NFT Community to show support and love for their hero, but this time in brilliant form, collaborating vocally over the work of the great artist/producer Checo.

The marketing for this track is unique in how it will hybridize traditional music streaming platforms with an online community’s internet craze over Magic Mullet’s featured vocals. This is just one of a few tracks ever released on The Magic Mullet’s traditional Digital Streaming Platforms and this could certainly lead to more appearances in that realm down the line.

Checo has a lot of things in the works coming up in terms of performances, music and his other NFT related content. These have all been tying together quite well for the upcoming star as of late, and as Checo has these upcoming bookings across the northeast/east coast, he is also making a splash in new territory as well. We are looking forward to seeing how the rest of 2022 fares for him as he boosts his career, just in time as 2023 festival flyers are being planned out over the next few months. A few more releases and performances before the end of this year and we should see Checo in bigger letters on lineups than expected over 2023.

Palo Santo” is a summer infused house track that blends songwriting and production in a unique way that makes you feel like you should be relaxing on the beach or dancing into the late night in the middle of August. The song was written and produced by Checo alongside his long-time collaborators Chris Curran and Kyle Blamey. The track was mixed and mastered by Ollie Knight – a UK based producer/engineer who has worked with notable artists like MK and Sonny Fodera. Palo Santo features a familiar formanted vocal sound from the Web 3/NFT native artist, The Magic Mullet, which gives the track an atypical pop feel that will have you singing along without even realizing it.

Here’s what Checo had to say about the track: “The world feels crazier and crazier every day and music continues to be a momentary escape for so many. And even though music is limitless in the feelings it can provoke, sometimes I just want to keep it simple and feel good – which is what Palo Santo is really about – nothing complex, just a song to make people feel good at any moment wherever they are.”

Tiga releases exclusive music NFT with decentralized Web3 steaming platform Tamago

Tiga

Web3 decentralized audio streaming platform Tamago unveiled their NFT collaboration with underground dance music icon Tiga. The Tiga x Tamago drop, ‘Easy’, is the second in a series of one of one music NFT collaborations recently announced from the platform’s co-founder Clarian North. Past exclusives include Panorama bar resident Paramida, with a forthcoming exclusive from Chicago house music legend Felix Da Housecat due out in 2022.

On August 3rd, the auction was opened for a One of One music NFT collaboration between Tiga and Tamago, an unreleased demo edit of Tiga‘s track ‘Easy‘, which was released earlier this year on Turbo Recordings and featured production from Hudson Mohawke.

The unique nature of the One of One content means that the NFTs are delivered on Tamago as singles that users can not only stream, but buy and add to their profile, their “Record Box”, for other users to listen to and enjoy. Tamago allows buyers to create shareable playlists that they can monetize based on the royalty structure decided upon by the selling artist.

The NFT owner of ‘Easy‘ will receive 20% on platform streaming royalties from the track, as well as 15% on future NFT sales should they decide to sell. The exclusive audio NFT will live in the buyers’ “Record Shop” on Tamago, where users will be able to stream it until the buyer decides to sell it.

Tiga said about the track,“Often a song has multiple lives. Started in september of 2019, the original “demo” version of Easy was built around a catchy synth hook, an anthemic vocal, and a huge half-time breakdown. The final version that reached the public in 2021…. only kept the vocal, and was transformed into a much more aggressive techno banger. Here you have the original Demo, completely exclusive, and completely different….a funkier, stripped down party feel, and a much more commercial hooky sound. for NFT land only. Enjoy.”

7 Fashion Tips to Get Ready for an EDM Festival

EDM festivals are a great way to let loose and have fun. Rave culture is known for its vibrant fashions, so don’t be afraid to express yourself through your look. But if you’re not comfortable with the idea of making a fashion statement at an EDM festival, we’ve got some tips that’ll help you embrace the “anything goes” mentality while still looking stylish.

Avoid Expensive Labels

EDM festivals are a great time to let loose and have fun, but you’ll want to avoid overspending on your outfit. You’ll also want to find out what the dress code is for the event so that you don’t show up with an inappropriate outfit. Even if it is not a black tie affair, you can still look stylish without breaking the bank by looking for deals on clothing and finding inexpensive, stylish as well as comfortable, and easy-to-wear pieces.

If this is your first time attending an EDM festival, you might not understand how things work at these events. Hence you may not know what to wear either! Make sure you feel comfortable by choosing outfits that are easy to care for since these events happen outdoors where there are chances of it getting dirty.

Consider Wearing a Rave Jersey

Whether going to a club or an EDM festival, wearing a rave jersey is a great way to show your love for the genre—and it’s a really easy way to make sure you look extra cool and ready for the action.

A rave jersey is a perfect way to incorporate some of the most popular elements of EDM culture into your wardrobe without having to go full-on gothic or steampunk. They’re easy to find at local thrift stores or online, and they can be worn with just about anything—so whether you’re headed to a festival or just up for a late-night dance party, they’ll make sure you look like an extra from the set of Blade Runner 2049.

These are usually polyester or nylon and feature long sleeves and a hood covering most of the wearer’s face. They’re often decorated with bright colors and patterns inspired by nature or science fiction.

They can be worn over or under clothing, depending on how cold you think it will be at the concert venue. If you plan on wearing rave jerseys underneath your clothes, make sure they don’t have holes in them so that they don’t catch on anything when you move around during the show!

Wear Comfortable Shoes

There are many different things to remember when you’re getting ready for your EDM festival, but one thing that isn’t often discussed is the importance of wearing comfortable shoes.

Do not wear high heels or any kind of uncomfortable shoes. If you have to wear heels, make sure they have some padding, so they’re not too hard on your feet and ankles. Don’t forget to take proper care of the insides of your shoes, too—you don’t want blisters forming before even leaving home!

Don’t wear loose footwear either—this includes sandals and flip-flops. You don’t want anything falling off during dancing or running around! Make sure everything stays firmly secured while enjoying yourself at the show or festival experience.

Leggings Are Your Best Friend

You can wear them with anything, but if you have to go out and buy something new, leggings are your best friend. Leggings are comfortable, easy to wear, and versatile – they can be dressed up or down depending on what top or shoes you wear with them. They’re also a great way to express your style while keeping things casual.

Even if you don’t like the idea of wearing leggings out at night or in general, there are still plenty of ways you can rock them! You could pair a bodysuit with some over-the-knee boots for an edgy look or layering a plain tee over one for an extra layer under that cute skirt that doesn’t quite fit without something.

Get Creative With Accessories

There’s no reason you can’t have fun with your accessories, too. Here are a few ideas to get your creative juices flowing:
Wear a hat. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy—a baseball cap is fine! But if you want something more elaborate, try pairing it with a colorful scarf or bandana.

Wear jewelry. If you don’t already own jewelry, now is the time to get some. Any necklace will do the trick; just make sure it isn’t too heavy for dancing in! You could also wear bracelets; some people even wear rings as earrings! This may seem strange at first but trust me: it looks great.

Wear a watch or two on either wrist or even three. Why not? It’ll add character while keeping track of time at the same time!

Be Confident

The most important thing to remember is that you are the only person who has to be happy with what you wear. Whether it’s a cute outfit, a crazy outfit, or a combination of both, wear it confidently! Don’t let anyone make you feel bad about how you dress or try to make anyone else feel bad about how they dress.

Wear something that makes you feel comfortable. There is no such thing as “too short” or “too tight” when it comes down to comfortability. But some items may not be appropriate for specific venues depending on weather conditions and age restrictions, e.g., 18+ events.

For example: if it’s hot outside during your concert experience, then shorts probably aren’t going to cut it; if there will be alcohol involved at your event, then consider wearing something more conservative than a crop top or mini skirt so as not to offend other attendees’ sensibilities when dancing and drinking together as one big family after all!

Get Creative

If you’re going to an EDM festival, you don’t want to be the same as everyone else. You can use the event as an opportunity to get creative and wear something you wouldn’t normally wear. Don’t be afraid of getting a little out of the ordinary or wild!

For example, if you usually wear dresses in bright colors but have been feeling more adventurous lately, why not try wearing a dress made out of paper? If your friend has been talking about how much she loves her new pair of boots for weeks, maybe this would be the perfect time for both of you to get into it together!

If there’s something that sounds fun but is still kind of risky, go ahead and try it—even if things don’t work out just right at first, this will still be an experience worth remembering forever!

Conclusion

If you’re going to an EDM festival, there’s no time to prepare for it like the present! You’ll want to look good in every way possible, from your clothing choices down to your shoes. Following these simple tips and tricks, any concertgoer can look great before heading out on the dance floor with their friends!

Boris Brejcha x ArtAtak Metaverse Set to Open to the Public on August 5th

Boris Brejcha

Artatak has designed a unique metaverse in order to exhibit and promote the new Boris Brejcha NFT collection, opening to the public August 5th, 2022.

Hosted on Spatial.io in partnership with metaverse designer Herve Simoes, participants will be connected to Boris‘ virtual realm, where they will be able to engage with the artist and other participants, creating an NFT immersive experience.

The virtual event may be viewed and experienced on practically any platform, including virtual reality, augmented reality, mobile and the web. Visitors can buy NFTs or take part in virtual activities or meetings scheduled for the event.

The theme of Boris‘ metaverse is an ancient temple deep within the cosmos that generates the melodies and sounds that make up techno divinity.

Unlike the golden veal, the majestuous duck sits in the spectacular fountain, the exuberant garden urges you to explore and transcend with the aid of minimalist sound. This is the place to go if you’re looking for the sound of the techno grail, the neo ‘Hortus Conclusus‘.

Emerging onto the scene with the double EP release of “Monster” and “Yellow Kitchen” back in 2006, Boris Brejcha has spent the years since developing his own style of music, coined by himself as ‘High-Tech Minimal’.

One of the hardest working artists in the dance music landscape, the man behind the masquerade-style, jester-face mask dropped three EPs – “Vodka & Orange“, “Matrix“, and “EXIT” – and acclaimed album Never Stop Dancing last year. Refusing to take his foot off the gas, the venerated talent kicked off 2022 with his acclaimed single “Up Down Jumper” and a remix of “Astronautin” by fellow German master Stephan Bodzin.

ArtAtak is a one-of-a-kind NFT incubator that provides complete in-house services to assist artists, museums, art galleries, and luxury brands with gaining entry into the NFT market. Made up of a group of professionals with extensive expertise who collaborate to create, develop, promote, sell, and ‘META’ showcase NFT collections, the U.S. startup organized the first NFT event in Paris, Unvirtual Paris, in February of this year.
