Sander van Doorn releases first Purple Haze sonic offering of 2022, ‘Horizons’,

Internationally-renowned DJ/producer Sander van Doorn returns to the release radar under his Purple Haze moniker with his latest thumping original production ‘Horizons’.

The talent’s new track follows up a slew of highly successful singles under the alias such as last year’s ‘Manoeuvres‘, ‘Recover‘, and ‘Faces‘, in addition to serving as a follow-up to Sander‘s ‘Breakfast In Vegas‘ from the tail end of this February. Out now via Armind, ‘Horizons‘ is available to listen to across all streaming platforms.

The floor-shattering melodic techno offering is wholly anthemic in nature, providing a larger-than-life ambiance throughout its entirety. Beginning with a propelling bass and flowing rhythm, the atmospheric opus sets the stage for an eventual slower pace.

An enticing vocal enters the sonic space shortly after, instilling the tune with lyricism replete with a sense of optimism and hope. The high octane sensibilities pick back up, taking the listener on a journey of sound quite unlike anything heard before it. An ambient flair, shimmering soundscapes, and heady tone round out the rest of the enthralling release, in turn producing quintessential Purple Haze listening material.

Eats Everything & Shermanology link up on new track ‘Tell You What It Is’

House and techno titan Eats Everything also known as Dan Pearce has joined forces with Caribbean duo Shermanology on new single ‘Tell You What It Is’, out 13th May.

Capturing the essence of house music, ‘Tell You What It Is’ combines euphoric gospel-like vocals, rousing organ chords and a pulsating bassline – an irresistible combination that’s simply made for the dancefloor. Eats Everything and Shermanology’s first single release of the new year will launch as Danny Howard’s ‘Hottest Record’ on Radio 1, and precedes shows at Amnesia Ibiza, Creamfields South, Parklife and Love Saves The Day in his native Bristol.

“This is new territory for me,” Dan explains. “Working with full choirs, vocalists and instrumentalists is something I’ve never really done before so it’s out of my comfort zone making proper ‘songs’. The lockdown period gave me a lot of time to reflect, experiment and create and this record (along with the others coming) are a product of that time of experimentation. I really hope that people are into it!”

Shermanology add: “It was so dope working with Dan aka Eats Everything on this project. For us to be able to blend both our sounds feels great. We went in the studio with a choir consisting of family and friends, which makes it even more special for us.”

Dan invited Shermanology to join him on his 10 years of Eats Everything tour to play in his hometown at Lakota and their friendship blossomed. Shermanology also are set to release forthcoming music on Dan’s Edible label which he is really excited about.

More recently they received global acclaim on the 2021 hit ‘Boyz N Da Club’ which amassed over 5.6 million Spotify streams and was supported by BBC Radio 1. They also teamed up with FISHER to release the slamming ‘It’s A Killa’ on his Catch & Release label.

His first time working with choirs and vocalists, ‘Tell You What It Is’ sees Eats Everything add yet another string to his already-sizable bow.

Donate blood and get free tickets for UNTOLD and Neversea festivals

Fans who donate their blood and save lives can get free access or discounts for the Romanian music festivals, UNTOLD & Neversea.

The best place to donate blood is in the land of Dracula, in Transylvania, Romania. The festival-goers can donate blood to save lives, and they will receive a free pass or discounts for one of the biggest music festivals in the world, UNTOLD. Fans can also pay with blood their entrance at Neversea Festival, the largest beach festival in Europe in Constanța, Romania.

Blood Network, the longest-running donating blood campaign in Romania, initiated by the organizers of UNTOLD and Neversea, is once again waiting for the heroes to save lives and then enjoy unforgettable experiences at two of the biggest music festivals in the world. It is the 8th edition of The Blood Network campaign, and it will run from May 14 to July 3 in all the blood transfusion centers in Romania and a mobile caravan. The need for blood to save lives persists in hospitals across the country. There are needed 500,000 units of blood annually.

The idea of the Blood Network campaign is to encourage people to donate their blood. This way, donors can pay for their entrance to UNTOLD Festival or Neversea. Each year more and more people are making this kind gesture, and now there are thousands of donors in the Blood Network and thousands of lives saved.

Those who donate blood in the mobile caravan have free access to UNTOLD Festival or Neversea Festival. They also receive shopping vouchers. The CSR campaign started in 2015 with UNTOLD Festival, and since then, each year, the organizers have added new cities for the mobile caravan and the Neversea Festival, which was born in 2017. Today,  12 big cities in Romania are included in this campaign.

Fans who donate blood in the transfusion centers in Romania receive a discount voucher for tickets at UNTOLD Festival or Neversea Festival (up to 70 euros savings).

Exit festival announces over 50 huge acts for this year’s edition!

EXIT Festival are very proud to announce the absolute cream of dance music producers and DJs to their MTS Dance Arena line up.

Many international acts will be appearing on this epic stage for the first time, in what is set to be one of the most spectacular years yet for the award winning Serbian festival. NO SLEEP NOVI SAD STAGE

For the last 6 years No Sleep Novi Sad has brought the world’s most renowned clubs to EXIT’s Petrovaradin Fortress and in 2022 they aim to set the bar even higher with their most exciting line up yet. Being the second biggest dance stage at EXIT Festival is no easy task, however with the likes of clubs such as Fuse, Avant-Garde, Tresor, Concrete and many more appearing in recent years, No Sleep Novi Sad is set to wow the EXIT partygoers with an unbeatable array of talent.

This years No Sleep Stage is set to be the biggest yet – Thursday (7th July) will see Manfredi Romano’s Life & Death label and brand take the helm, bringing with them the absolute cream in international talent including BĘÃTFÓØT (Live), DJ Tennis, Budino and Gerd Janson.

Friday (8th July) will be hosted by none other than Parisian hard techno specialists Possession, pushing gender barriers in dance music with the likes of British techno king Dax J, Hector Oaks, Parfait, Katalina, Muhi and Cera Khin on DJ duties.

Saturday (9th July) will see Berlin’s integral dance space Watergate take the helm – with a customary stellar line up including Andhim, Adana Twins, Biesmans (Live), Stephan Jolk and Kristin Velvet b2b Jamiie.

Burnr Returns With Nasty House Pounder ‘Molly’

Super-talented DJ and producer is back again for your listening pleasure with his latest powerful offering BURNR, concocting a chemical reaction by pouring petrol over speakers and asking his devil’s advocate on vocals for a match.

Dragging ‘Molly’ across juddering bass terrain like it has Guru Josh backwards by the infinities, the mayhem is brought to a head by a shrill synth blowing off steam post-breakdown, the Dutch one-to-watch adding squelches and squirms to his mean machinery.

A dirty, decadent, renegade stomp, ‘Molly’ probably isn’t the one to bring home to your parents. BURNR found inspiration in different sounds such as Afrojack’s Polkadots. He created the drop quite quickly, and tried to build the track around that.

BURNR is definitely one to watch, he proved it already with support by superstar DJs and producers such as Martin Garrix, Emre Cizmeci, Firebeatz, Bingo Players, just to name a few.

Enrico Sangiuliano shares details of his debut NINETOZERO SOLO event!

Enrico Sangiuliano has proved to be a breakthrough talent in the contemporary dance music space in recent years, finding equal comfort and success both in the studio and behind the decks. Having recently announced the forthcoming arrival of his 10-chapter transient record label, the techno phenomenon now shares details of the imprint’s counterpart event series – NINETOZERO SOLO – as he prepares to unveil the first opus, #9 (“Silence”) in the label’s countdown saga.

Enrico‘s correlative SOLO event series will extend the label’s narrative and ethos into an immersive live experience that highlights the evanescent beauty of music and club culture. From start to finish, from silence to silence, the dance music maestro will perform solo with unbridled musicality, selecting tracks that free his creativity from the bounds of genre and tempo.

Taking place on Saturday 11th June 2022 at the celebrated Marktkantine in Amsterdam, Enrico‘s ‘NINETOZERO SOLO #9‘ will celebrate the launch of this inspiring new project, allowing fans to experience the first collection of NINETOZERO tracks in the intended transitory setting.

Much like NINETOZERO‘s ephemeral messaging, Amsterdam’s beloved Marktkantine venue will soon be closing its doors after three decades of serving the community’s underground audiences. Due to its impending closure, the now ‘temporary’ space provides the perfect home for Enrico‘s anthemic strain of underground music, and subsequently, the label’s objection to the notion of perpetual records. Amsterdam Dance Event – ADE reveals first speakers and artists for 2022 Conference and Festival

The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is gearing up for a full return to live in 2022, with a revamped, interactive approach for ADE Pro conference and ADE Festival returning to the nighttime.

The first confirmed speakers for ADE Pro include Diplo, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Suzanne Ciani and Youssou N’Dour, with Ciani and N’Dour taking centre stage with live shows during ADE Festival as well. Other artists confirmed for the festival program include; Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Ben Böhmer, CloZee, DJ Stingray 313, Louisahhh, Oliver Heldens, Tiësto, Worakls Orchestra and many others.

ADE Pro conference

ADE Pro’s long awaited 2022 return to its home base Felix Meritis will once again feature a live action packed program featuring in-depth sessions and discussions with an emphasis on interaction and immersion, with the first confirmed speakers including genre-defying global producer & DJ Diplo, the godfather of Africa’s current creative explosion Youssou N’Dour and modular synth pioneer and electronic music legend Suzanne Ciani.

In addition, this year’s conference features Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano discussing their first album and a new documentary project, as well as IMPALA Executive Chair Helen Smith and serial entrepreneur Ben Turner, with many more speakers to be added in the following months.

ADE Festival

Alongside their appearances at ADE Pro, Suzanne Ciani will also be showcasing her prowess live on the Melkweg stage in a one-off collaboration concert with Metropole Orkest, and Youssou N’Dour brings his band Super Étoile De Dakar for a live performance at Concertgebouw. Moreover, Melkweg is set to host a week-long program, with Dave Clarke Presents, Hospitality, Monstercat Showcase, Oliver Heldens and other shows and club nights.

Paradiso presents French producer CloZee, as well as the return of Speedy J’s STOOR and Cloud 8 x Ziongate’s Tribes club night introduced last year, plus Gyedu-Blay Ambolley & his Sekondi band on the Tolhuistuin stage.

In addition, DGTL announces live performances by Ben Böhmer and Worakls Orchestra, Alan Walker takes the stage at AFAS Live, Into the Woods and Dockyard x Mystic Garden return with multi-day events and Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, David Guetta, Tiësto and more are filling AMF’s roster at the Johan Cruijff Arena.

The first individual event tickets for ADE Festival will become available on the ADE website very soon. Alongside individual tickets, the ADE Pro Pass is currently available at Early Bird rates and grants access to the entire ADE program, including the full conference and festival, plus an abundance of networking events and opportunities for music industry professionals, full access to all ADE Business Hubs and much more.
