EXIT Festival announce exclusive NFT collection in collaboration with Maceo Plex

Joining the world of NFT’s, EXIT Festival partners with leading electronic music producer Maceo Plex to unveil a special NFT collection during this year’s TOMORROW conference, taking place from 13th to 15th May in Belgrade.

The NFT collection will be unveiled on 4th May with minting starting on 14th May at the panel. For those not able to attend, the conference will be live streamed and aside from Maceo Plex, will feature Maria May, the agent representing David Guetta and other influential music industry experts, as well as the founder of EXIT, Dušan Kovačević and James Sutcliffe, VP of Global Partnerships at Pixelynx. To celebrate the launch of the exclusive EXIT Festival NFT collection, Maceo Plex will headline an exclusive party at the Belexpocentar that evening.

With NFTs on everyone’s mind, EXIT Festival is proud to announce a number of NFT collections, presented at this year’s festival. The collections will not only showcase Maceo Plex‘s own collection called SHADES, but also a collection called HEADPHONES featuring EXIT‘s first logo from 2001 in 3D, the TRIBE gift collection, intended for the earliest members of the EXIT Discord community, as well as the WINGS collection, created in collaboration with Christina Carmela, a South African pilot and women’s rights activist.

In the theme of multidimensionality, which also represents the festival’s philosophy, the NFTs are proof that nothing can replace live experiences. Destined to bring the best “live” festival experiences, visitors will have the opportunity to use the 3D headphones, glasses and wings in the new digital universe.

Lucky owners of EXIT‘s NFT art will also have the opportunity to experience the festival as only a few do, with exclusive access to the Dance Arena stage, hanging-out with EXIT headliners and secret parties at hidden locations in the EXIT fortress being just some of the surprises, including the possibility for Maceo Plex and other dance music superstars to perform digitally at their very own private party! With the incredible Dance Arena announcement coming soon and featuring the absolute cream of international dance acts this is a huge move by EXIT Festival and one that is sure to get the tech heads salivating.

Alongside the opportunity of being one of the first to get a hand on EXIT‘s digital art, TMRW conference visitors will also have the opportunity to get familiar with the impressive EXIT VR project in Serbia. The EXIT VR project showcases the well-known festival location, recorded with an 8k 360 VR camera and premiered at the World Expo in Dubai in the Serbian Pavilion. The aim of the audio-visual project is to open the festival locations not typically open to visitors like being on the Main Stage next to David Guetta or dancing to Solomun or Paul Kalkbrenner in the Dance Arena.

For more information on EXIT’s NFT collection, as well as how to purchase and mint can be found on the official website.

Meet Owltrax, a Los Angeles native Dubstep producer who is quickly making a name for himself

The genre of Dubstep music is growing more and more by the day. New producers and artists are discovering new sounds and new ways to create music in this world of electronic waves. With many talented artists around the entire world one producer we highly recommend you check out and keep close tabs on its Owltrax .

Owltrax is a Los Angeles native Dubstep producer who is quickly making a name for himself. In 2020 he won the “Insomniac Discovery Project” one of the most well known platforms for emerging EDM artists. Getting on the road since the start of the pandemic has been different and difficult for some artists and created friction on the path to be discovered. Not for Owltrax.

In 2020 alone he performed in the EDC Rave-A-Thon on YouTube. He was also featured on iHeartRadio and Teezy Radio before doing over 20 local shows in Los Angeles California. He then hit the road and went from the bay in San Francisco through Los Angeles and Vegas to Orlando, Florida.

A lot of creators get so tied into the creation portion of their music that they forget how important it is to be in front of other people. How important it is to network and make your name and face known on a personal level not just a creative front. Not Owltrax though. This is his strength. He understands the business side to this game as well. A lot of artists need a whole team for that portion but he handles a lot of this stuff first hand.

With a growing online presence and new music dropping this summer we anticipate him to be a household name before you know it. Don’t ever tell yourself you don’t have time or you’re too busy. Why? I forgot to mention that this kid is also an electromechanical engineer graduate from Cal Poly. Talk about performing on all levels and operating with persistence through multiple things at once.

Make sure you follow him on all social media platforms and stay close to his website for the most detailed updates owltrax.com .

Hollaphonic drop another striking house record ‘Paraná’ on Tomorrowland Music

British, Dubai-based electronic duo Hollaphonic are proving themselves to be masters of house once again with another striking house record ‘Paraná’, released through Tomorrowland Music!

Capturing their iconic tech-house sound with catchy vocals, irresistible melodies and thumping beats, the club-ready bassline is just begging to be blasted out of pounding speakers over a dancefloor.

Their latest offering ‘Paraná‘ is an infectious piece of house music with an edge of soul & funk, an absolute earworm that’s sure to ring around the globe over the coming weeks…

Here’s what Hollaphonic had to say about their brand new release:

We’ve always been inspired by the fire of Latin music and the relentless energy of its percussion. It’s not often you find a sample that captures the spirit of a genre, sexy with a serious groove; we got hooked on the vocal and then built everything around it, starting with the drums, making sure the fills gave it some spice, we’re seriously happy about how it turned out, it’s a summertime, palm tree, speaker blower… can’t wait to see the reaction, shout to Tomorrowland for the support sharing it with the world.

Bleu Clair Drops Edgy House Single ‘Funk Accelerator’

“Funk Accelerator,” is Bleu Clair at his best. The track blends together an eclectic blend of elements featuring culture cues from classic house and tech house – infusing his musical work with a certain modern twist that only he seems to be able to bring out. It’s the technicality and arrangement that hooks the listener on this one.

Within “Funk Accelerator,” there’s a dichotomy at hand. At some moments, sampled vocals are cut and spliced alongside a crisp percussion design, while at others, old-school sample design is placed at the forefront. Altogether, well-organized and boasting a flow that leaves the listener on their toes as to what will come next – Bleu Clair keeps the vibe simple and smooth, allowing the track to be absorbed on a deep level.

Bleu Clair is far from his first go around when it comes to making music. His catalog is thick, the infectious releases – which have been signed to labels such as Insomniac Records, Terminal Underground and Realm Records – having him sit at 450K+ monthly listeners on just Spotify alone.

Known for being a part of a greater modern movement that is ushering in a new era of house, Bleu Clair is the cream of the crop in these circles – his music only seeming to be more forward thinking and development with each passing release.
