Barely a month has passed since Armin van Buuren teamed up with Duncan Laurence and got the world acquainted with ‘Feel Something’, but the five-time #1 DJ in the world isn’t touted as one of dance music’s most prolific acts for nothing.
Today, the Dutchman released his ‘Euthymia EP‘, a diverse seven-track collection that underlines the broad stylistic range of his production capabilities. It also spotlights the fact that no one else but him can decide which musical road to take, as reflected by the EP’s artwork design and accompanying videos.
Comprising seven outstanding tracks, Armin van Buuren‘s ‘Euthymia EP‘ is a display of sheer musicality and artistry. Fronted by fan favorites such as ‘Need You Now‘ (feat. Jake Reese), ‘Feel Something‘ (feat. Duncan Laurence) and ‘Should I Wait‘ (with Avalan), this EP allows for a detailed look into the mind of a creator who isn’t afraid to blend styles and cross borders.

Electronic composer WorakIs has collaborated with classical musician Rusanda Panfili on new single ‘Storm’, out now on WorakIs’ freshly launched Sonate label.
Finding the middle ground between the visceral energy of the club and the majestic beauty of the orchestra, ‘Storm‘ is a thrilling combination of pulsating kick drums, powerful melodic breakdowns and Rusanda Panfili‘s exquisite violin prowess. It follows Sur le front des animaux menacés, WorakIs‘ stunning 14-track album that christened the launch of Sonate.
Accompanying the stunning single is the similarly intricate and beautiful artwork created in collaboration with artist Randa Haddadin, inspired by cities and urban contexts, people, movements and lives, it’s a powerful visual interpretation that aligns with the track perfectly.
WorakIs explains: “Storm’ is a piece that Rusanda and I composed, as its title indicates, imagining a tempest that we would be going through. From the thundering black clouds to the late arrival of the sun, the purpose of this track is to transcribe the different steps as if we weren’t able to find shelter and were forced to live through it.
We collaborated for months, always from distance as the current context dictates. She was in Vienna, I was in Aix-en-Provence, and we ended up with this track that we really hope to be able to play together someday.”
Rusanda Panfili adds: “This track is the best proof that making music has no borders or limits; we composed, produced and recorded ‘Storm’ during the lockdown, so we were unable to travel or work in person. Most of our creative sessions were done through video chat and by sending files back and forth which was a big challenge but also fun. I have always wanted to compose an electronic/instrumental track and working with Kevin was incredibly inspiring.”
Although famous for his countless electro-melodic releases and his vibrant live shows, Hungry Music co-founder Worakls is a composer above all. Raised in a family of musicians, he learned the piano at the age of three years old and then carried onwards to a full conservatory education – all before shifting towards the electronic music that he would become known for.
Born in Moldova, Rusanda Panfili used her authenticity, passion and proud Eastern European heritage to become one of Europe’s recognisable and prominent classical musicians. Currently living in Vienna, she has been playing the violin for 26 years and has worked alongside superstars like Hans Zimmer, Brian May, Gavin Greenaway, Gabriel Yared and Steve Vai.

Romania’s dance music gem UNTOLD, is launching a brand new entertainment concept and offers those eager for exclusive experiences, this time on water, “UNTOLD Odyssey”, a festival organized on a cruise ship in the Mediterranean Sea.
The cruise ship will travel to top destinations on the world map of entertainment – Rome, Ibiza, and Barcelona. The line-up will be exceptional as always, and some of the greatest artists and DJs in the world, who already made unforgettable shows at UNTOLDfestival, will be on board.
The first edition of UNTOLD Odyssey will take place from 9th to 13th June 2021 and is the first project of this kind for UNTOLD. During the 5 days of the cruise, those who will be lucky enough to score a ticket and be on board will be privileged with live concerts, a breathtaking fireworks shows and experiences that will make this trip a memorable one.

UNTOLD Odyssey
During the cruise, the hard-working organizers behind UNTOLD and Neversea festival will implement the safest protocols for everyone’s safety and health during these difficult times due to COVID-19 outbreak.
They are ready to follow all the measures and procedures recommended by the World Health Organization- WHO and international authorities, perform rapid testing and PCR testing of all passengers before boarding, have the latest technologies, mobility bracelets with sensors of motion, top medical equipment, medical care available 24/24 hours, isolation and treatment areas for any symptoms.
The cruise ship will have onboard a PCR lab and capacity for rapid testing. Also, the air conditioning system has been completely modified so that the air does not recirculate from one room to another but is 100% fresh air.
A very important aspect is the fact that the organizers and local authorities signed agreements, excluding situations in which the ship would not be received in ports due to the existence of any case of COVID-19 on board.
The passengers have to come with PCR tests, made with a maximum of 48 hours before boarding. At the arrival, all those who want to embark on the Odyssey voyage will be tested with rapid tests and PCR tests, and only the healthy ones will get up on board. Every participant will wear a mobility bracelet, with sensors of motion, that will record with who they come in contact, and in case of the slightest symptom, all the targeted passengers will be tested urgently. The cruise ship will have only 2500 passengers on board.

A prolific producer like Oliver Heldens can’t be held down to just one label, or one alias, or one style. That’s why he’s launching another label within the Heldeep Family called OH2 Records, catering to the more commercial leaning, streaming focused productions — with Heldeep releasing the tastemaker club and house records.
OH2 Records launches on November 6 with the release of the joyous new single ‘Set Me Free’: a collaboration with acclaimed duo Party Pupils, who found fame covering ‘90s R&B classics in a modern dance style and features the luscious vocals of MAX. Sweet synth chord stabs kick the track off as MAX’s soulful performance set the tone.
Brooding low-end energy hovers in the distance, the drop arrives with punchy beats and rubbery bass to allow the glorious refrain to explode into life. Lush vocal harmonies deck out the break as the track strips down to its bones, reaching us to an exuberant climax where MAX’s falsetto vocal takes the track up to another notch. It’s a masterclass in pure dance-pop perfection, with plenty of that distinctive Heldens energy in its engine.
“With Heldeep I’ve always been very focused on expanding the horizons of more club-oriented sounds. Since launching the label a little over 5 years ago we’ve had so many highlights and become a very versatile label in that space, which I’m really pleased about.
A typical example for this in 2020 was our success with Moguai & Kai Tracid’s ‘DT64’, which became a big hit in the Techno world, something I didn’t expect to accomplish with the Heldeep label when I started it in 2015.
However, I haven’t really been able to focus on the more Dance/Pop side of things with Heldeep (with the exception of a couple of my own tracks) so my team and I decided to expand the Heldeep Label group and launch ‘OH2 Records’ which will focus on the more melodic and Dance/Pop leaning music.
‘Set Me Free’ feels like the perfect record to me to kickstart OH2 – It just has this nicely balanced blend of Dance/Pop, Disco and Future House elements. Party Pupils and I have been wanting to do something together for a while, because we thought it would be really interesting to combine our styles, and we’re super happy how this turned out. Also a big shout out to MAX who really nailed the vocals on this one! I hope you also like it 🙂”

John Digweed continues to showcase his unparalleled work ethic with the announcement of his forthcoming QUATTRO II mixed LP, the follow-up to his immensely successful QUATTRO compilation.
With clubland on hold since March, Digweed reached out to his favorite producers and began working on the new offering. The 4-disc project is packed to the brim with new, unreleased tracks from some of electronic music’s most exciting producers.
QUATTRO II will be available worldwide on February 26th, 2021, and with CD and vinyl orders already exceeding demand, fans are encouraged to pre-order their limited edition signed copies now, exclusively via the Bedrock website.

QUATTRO IIis broken down into four parts — the first being Soundscape, which features atmospherically entrancing ambient textures and synths. Tempo champions a melodically driving acid sound, while Redux boasts a feel-good house. Lastly, Juxtaposition is mixed by German stalwart Robert Babicz, delivering an album full of futuristic electronica and ambient textures.
Digweed has cherry-picked 20 tracks from the album and pressed them into a limited-edition 5 x vinyl set housed in a beautifully designed sleeve that he personally numbered and signed. The Beyond Wonderland Monterrey Virtual Rave-A-Thon will broadcast live on Saturday, Dec. 19 from 5 – 11:30 p.m. PT / 7 p.m. – 1:30 a.m. CT and Sunday, Dec. 20 from 4 – 10:30 p.m. PT / 6 p.m. – 12:30 a.m. CT.
The Beyond Wonderland Monterrey Virtual Rave-A-Thon will stream live on Insomniac’s YouTube and Twitch channels. The livestream will feature performances from superstar DJs and producers Borgore, Lost Kings, Markus Schulz, Nervo, Ghastly, Shiba San and more, including a special B2B performance with Junkie Kid and Lil Texas.
Throughout the stream, Insomniac will collect voluntary donations benefitting Rave Recovery in association with In Place of War. It also features a 2 hours continuous mix by Tom Pooks himself, recorded during the lockdown. French maestro gives much relief to these 2020 releases, incorporating some additional effects, adding some hypnotic loops to build a timeless mixed manifesto.
